Ideas for Turrets!

And enemy tanks seen through buildings would be fuzzy just because the x-ray.

if there's someone inside , doing something private ( I know what do you guys think!) he'll be in big danger

Well, I liked the 'Sentry' turret idea a lot because it wasn't just about decreasing reload and increasing firepower. I remember saying this in quite a few topics:

One Magnum is enough.

Even hulls are done playing with speed and armour, which is why we're seeing the development of new hulls with different mechanics. Turret ideas should definitely be based on ingenuity.

No, it can't move vertically,and not really horizontally either.

Then it sounds like the overdrive of that new hull.

What's the purpose to create these forum pages if the developers are not adding any of them? Nonsense.

My idea for a turret would be a grenade launcher-If someone would find for me a 3D art creator thingy I could create the turret with it and show it to you (for windows 7 pro)- It would roll on the floor ( when launched ) just like the rugby ball, it's damage would be as big as magnum's damage & reload time. After it touches roof/wall/ramp/surface it will explode as fast as the new wasp bomb ( or sooner, the developers will decide it so it'll be balanced. I have no hope that they will add this, I only said this because everybody keeps talking about this ). This weapon is used for camping like railgun/magnum/shaft. There are alterations to come, just read the red text and help me with that. 

 

If this idea was already used, keep in mind that I am lazy to read back 191 pages. So there is no way I knew about that.

I understand you don't have the patience to look through all 191 pages-but at least look at the first or second page before you make your suggestion-and compare it with what is already mentioned.

p.s. we should have a search button to look through such sections.

At least I looked through the first 2 pages and the last one-if this turret was suggested in the other 188 pages-don't expect me to know.

 

I am suggesting a miner turret that will just be a piece on the sides of the hull like a rim (or maybe include a fake turret on top), it will lay 'mines' that will only work for 30 seconds or until someone steps on them. This would have a slower reload time, and must have a 75% full reload, and the mines will not do  to much damage (slightly less than a real mine.

They would not use supplies, I am unsure of the look-just different than a regular mine.

If a miner drops a mine while equipped with double damage, the mine will be bigger.

 

Please let me know if this idea makes sense.

Please boost the power of twins because for now this turrent is pretty weak (even with Heavy plasmagun alteration, because most of the times the balls don't hit the target or do no damage).

That seems like a you problem because Twins is already powerful as it is.

If anything this has nothing to do with 

Eithern, or at least this account of his-since his profile shows he never used twins.

Anyone have any suggestions/comments about the miner turret described 4 posts above?

That seems like a you problem because Twins is already powerful as it is. 

I've twins fully upgraded on another account and I can tell the damage is ridiculous compared to other turrets (both short and long range). They should boost some attributes.

Damage should apply to all tanks irrespective of what side they are on. 

 

It's slightly ridiculous that a magnum round will damage opposition and the shooter but no one else in the blast radius.

 

Make all shots count regardless of who it hits. 

 

Wasp overdrive should kill everyone in the blast radius.

 

Mammoth overdrive should kill any tank it touches.

 

Railgun should still be able to shoot through friendlies but it will cause as much damage to the friendly as to the enemy. 

 

I think you get the idea. 

 

On some of the maps I've found it's better to shoot my own teammates with thunder for the splash damage effect then it is to shoot the enemy.

I have watched people do this, it's not a joke.  Well, it is in terms of the gameplay and the fallacy of it, but within the confines of the current system, which I agree should not be, it pretty damn creative if you ask me.

not really.

It would just plant mines that stay for 45 seconds or until the user is killed.

Can't actually shoot any distance.

Anyone have any opinions on this?

It is just being ignored simply because it is the last posts on the page.

so what your asking for is firendly fire. I think that could be used against people.

make these turrets to have to aim, and not just point and shoot to hit tank.  no horizontal turret can shoot 60 deg. up or down.  magnum  is the true tanker we have to aim to hit tank.  game is making it to easy for these tanks to destroy a tank.  force these tanks to aim.  the game afraid to hold other tanks to the same standards as the magnum tank owner.
