Other hulls will receive alterations soon, and then Hunter won't be the only option to use for these buffs.

And then lucky buyers will be able to smash you with any hull. Great plan.

You’re completely correct. The P2W has gone too far. I just don’t understand why the mods are so adamant in defending every single decision the devs make; the way things are going the mods may be out of a job in a few months.

Please don't shoot the mod, he is just explaining the process which is his job. Thanks.

Yes, but an equally viable solution is to play only XP/BP. Additionally, only Hunter can be used to do so. If I don't want to use Hunter, then the game isn't well-balanced.

Only if you have MK7. This was another tanki for the greater good rebalance thingy, in the hope to reduce the railgun occurrence at low ranks. It is not a bad thing to try to have equal number of turrets. Is that tiem about to increase Freez and firebird turret in the game?

THIS.

The way they act surprised many are not happy with these changes is so disingenuous.  coughSHILLcough.

Actually I’m talking about the mods in general, they’re doing a great job, but I’ve noticed a few of them (not naming any names) seem to be using their positions to condescendingly attack/argue with those who are questioning the devs’ decisions.

All of us Helpers are not completely trying to defend the game, we are just trying to help players understand the Developers' decisions, as well as explain why something is the way that it is. In fact, some of us Helpers (and administrators, for that matter) dislike some parts of the game, and we never shy away from sharing our thoughts with our administrators (obviously not on public Forums or in-game, but through private conversations on Discord, for example). The point is, just because it might seem that we are "getting angry at" or "arguing with" people that have vastly different opinions from the Developers, at the end of the day, we are just doing the job we are being told to do - help players, and make the community as positive as possible.

We appreciate all players' ideas, but if they are unfit for the game, we will tell you this. If you submit an idea, and it is declined, don't be discouraged; submit another idea, or even a revise your old idea, and maybe it will become the next feature in the game!

Don't forget the fire alts of hammer (dragons breath), Vulcan (incendiary band), and smoky ( incendiary rounds).

I've posted many good ideas that would've benefited the game exponentially like making stars earned through their own mission system rather than through battles, having JGR, CP, CTF, and a DM with new mechanics as the only game modes for MM missions also changed in the same way, doing something about the top 3 in winners team weekly mission, and making ODs benefit both the user and their team.

And yet none of them made it to the devs, but one person's ridiculous suggestion in their YT comments section and it's automatically in the game.

It would be still better than isida now.

Isida has its perks. It isn't supposed to be a heavy-hitting turret, rather one that emits low amounts of damage, but has the ability to heal team mates. No other turret has that ability.

But the healing is low as well. ;(

When you combine the healing with the amount of damage it outputs, it is relatively balanced.

I was playing on my low account earlier, which has only Isida Mk5, and I was dealing 350 damage (or so) per tick to enemies, and roughly 150 per tick healing for team mates. That's fairly good, at least, in my opinion...

That's with double damage. The damage it does on equal footing is alright. But the healing without double damage is not.

My issues with Isida stem outwards to Ping, and worse so when I use Nanomass Reactor. There is a lot of energy being wasted when I use Isida. Whether it's neutral energy where the beam isn't attached to anyone, or offensive/supportive energy the beam is latched onto the enemy but is missing valuable damage ticks. And the ticks are much much much more valuable when you use Nanomass Reactor.

I use Isida on a lower account and I turned it into another SN Isida account. I just get killed too quickly when I try to prioritise attacking and I don't have the heart to prioritise attacking when my teammates are there on low HP. And, again, it's worse when I use Nanomass Reactor.

At the very least Isida is able to comfortably deal 100% of its damage due to lack of modules against it.

About nerfing Firebird's afterburn damage, I'm at a loss. It got more potent due to the module change (I'm still trying to wrap my head around this specifically). There are also modules available in Ultra Containers that give anyone at a lower rank the ability to have what a 50% module had or total immunity (which I find absurd). So they buff it and give it needs behind a lootbox. I'm not a fan of that.

I don't believe I'm a fan of this update. .

I caved and bought Firebird protection most recently because of the CFT spam. The protection would help me live longer to heal my allies longer and scope the scene longer. It was the afterburn that was the nuisance. I understand the direct damage because it's a melee turret. I'm prepared to die quickly against a melee turret. It's the afterburn that upset me, especially from a CFT. So I bought it and it had immense value. And now, it no longer protects you from the strongest part of CFT.

Should Firebird's afterburn be nerfed? I don't know. I'd rather this update not have come out.

Who in their right mind would believe that putting alterations in crates was a good idea? No one. Just further proves that the lead developer has lost all the logic thinking that he once had. He should just step down from the lead dev role and let someone with a fresh mind take over.

Only then does tanki have a chance.

The thing is, with Hornet OD + literally any turret being meta, it doesn't matter. I currently abuse the Vulcan Hornet Booster combo and frankly speaking I had no issues facing firebirds (with compact fuel, incendiary mix and no alteration)... like, it doesn't matter at all (at least in the higher ranks, not much ideas about the lower ranks)

If you want to talk about "overpowered", there's one thing in tanki currently which is Hornet's OD, other than that imho it just "outperforms" in certain situations which is quite normal; if you're in Arena or Sandbox and pick Shaft with Heavy Capacitors alt you're pretty much done for and you can't say buff shaft, while in Massacre you just... massacre people *BA DUM TSS*

In any case, this is just my opinion and my view to the game for now

hi people you guys dont understand it he tankionline want you to quit the game i mean what they think about the afterburn why do you think people buy fire protect?? for the 700 damage a sec.. noo ofcourse not dont let my laugh and the thing is then first golden tier out of container yeah= almost impossible to get next you have like 5 alterations then u can get finnally a alteration but is it not the one u want. then second if they going to let all tanks have is own alteration for example i win like immunity fire for hunter but it is only for hunter so i cant put it on my viking yeah then its maybe 1 of the 1000 chance to get the exact alteration u want you know this is bull**** those alterations just should make it harder to get in max temperature but the damage stil should be lowered with like fire protect. i mean if they want alteration for tanks so much ok then put like a overdrive change i mean i would like to see hunter overdrive on viking. that should be much better.

yes i know i suck at english u dont need to tell my

Isida needs a buff, i think, most of the players know this.

Hello there... I did not read your whole article.... Um... Sorry for that but it was too long... I got bored..so about Archer, In short it is like gauss but with a hammer duplet alteration huh?

Hi. well... Gauss supposed to be the combination of 2 turrets said by tanki.

But in my opinion Gauss Arcade shot is like Shaft+Thunder, because the same reload as Shaft, but has Splash damage. and the damage is between Shaft and Thunder. and The Aiming mode is like Magnum like damage and the huge splash area, but it has a lock-on like Striker.

So I don't think there would be a problem by combining more turrets in one. Just like there are tons of turrets that has an altearation that can Burn and Freez an enemy which only supposed to be existing for Firebird and Freeze.

To be honest this idea came from a mobile game, that has a Character who is an Archer. Her basic is to fire 1 arrow, then fire 3 stronger arrow, she can weaken the enemy for herself, and she has an eagle to help her fight. Her ultimate skill is that she jumps in the air, the eagle will grab her and she fire off 7-8 arrows dealing immense damage. (She cannot be damaged during her ultimate skill)

But since this is a Tank game, I tried to ''convert'' these things into a more realistic TO Turret;) and tbh I really like it

The Arcade shot is almost like Gauss you are right, but Archer reloads faster and deals less damage.

The Aiming shot is without laser since it's a bow and bows usually don't have lasers, lol. So It shoots 3 stronger arrow and the second part of the aiming mode has a chance to weaken the enemy for yourself only.

Isida needs vampirism thing back, it was very unique weapon before they removed that.
Also this is mild update compared to what kind of hull alterations are coming. I dont' wanna know but Im very interested in seeing how esports will adapt to this.

Unfortunately, it was also a feature that made Isida very OP. It dealt a decent amount of damage, could heal team mates, AND heal the user...

I'm surprised it ever was a feature in the first place.

Yes, it was OP. It was something like.... 4 years ago. Tanki has changed a lot (just think about gauss, magnum, alterations, buffed vulcan etc). So comparing to todays tanki, it will be a normal thing.

I do mildly agree with you, It was overpowered yeah but instead of removing the feature what if they just nerfed it?

They did - from 50% vampirism down to 10%.  Then they added an alt that doubled the vampirism to 20% but cut damage in half.  And since vampirism is based on damage dealt... well... you do the math...

Isidas disappeared from the battlefields.

No idea why they thought nerfing it by 80% would be acceptable.  Try 25%?  Try 20%?  Nah... let's just go down to 10% shall we?

They should've left damage dealt untouched and just nerf vampirism by 25% and if still OP then just nerf by 1% each test time. That way they would find perfect balance. Isida would still be very popular these days. It still wouldn't stand a chanse against firebird with compact fuel or shock freeze.

They find it impossible to try things in small measures.  It's inexplicable.

Should Firebird's afterburn be nerfed? I don't know. I'd rather this update not have come out.

Maxed Mued firebird/freeze module @ 50% would in theory remove 50% of the after-burn/freez effect and that is possible only when you reach Marshal. Now it seems that one Hull Alteration (HA) does 50% and another one does 100%. This 2 HA are now randomised among 8 HA (and many paints) and were available only for 3 days for one hull with one chance out of 100 to get it  from Ultra kit. So these 2 HA will be very rare in the game, incredibly rarer than the number of Firebird/freeze protection module (PM) already on the market. This update has a massive impact and will result on more Firebired and Freez turrets to be bought and upgraded (that is probably one of the objectives of this update, after creating a new resources of revenue), it will also mean more death, even if player are buying more protection module they will find out that this is really not the same deal, a 50% protection for thunder actually protect 50%. While 50% now do not count for 50%, I believe the equivalency would be around 40%. So it doesn't make sense to rush and buy Firebird/freeze PM. It is not a nuisance, if you had a firebird/freeze MP, I can tell you it is night and day, especially for light hulls.

The EMP alteration for Gauss also reduce the effectiveness of the Gauss PM, when DD removed it is a straight loose of 50% of you HP- it is like having an mini instant Hornet OD/Hunter OD. But nobody had that protection before so it is not a backward move.

Is TO so desperate to make revenue? Is it the swansong already?

If TO nerf the after-burn and/or the freezing effect it will reduce the appeal of the Ultra container, I don's see why they would do that in there current logic/strategy. It is not a question should it be nerfed or not, but rather what would they do next, would it not be better to be able to buy it with crystals? F2P will play to earn more crystals, and buyers will buy crystals to get it. Please let the player make a strategic and informed choice to buy it and not let it be only driven by pure luck and money. I meet TO halfway and would even buy one HA for 50 Tankcoins if required.

Let the ultra container be about the Ultra cosmetic and the hull alteration a premium (tankicoins) equipment. I won't use TK for paint or even the battle pass (500TK), I finnaly gave gave up on that one (15 days non stop playing for 100 Tk, hum, nah, I have about 192 TK, I can reach 500, with weekly container but to earn 1000 Stars is hard, especially for a random XT skin).
