As far as I can tell, you are suggesting a massive decrease in prices. Such a decrease will never be implemented.

The developers have just introduced two new turrets just recently, and they were the first new turrets in many years. So for now, I think we are set on the turrets, as they provide incredibly dynamic gameplay. Though in regards to adding a new hull(s), we already have a good balance of light, medium and heavy hulls. So as of present, the game is rather well balanced between all of the turrets, hulls, and paints, which have been carefully given protection that won't too greatly give one player an advantage.
