Changes in the parameters of turrets and hulls

I realised that the new update does not only affect what turrets and/or hulls we are going to buy, we also need to think about what paints to buy. I have Storm and Python for protecting attacks from Firebird and Freeze, respectively. They are working quite good and fit my needs very well. After the update, however, I am now considering paints for protecting attacks from Ricochet and Thunder. That means I need to spend extra crystals on the new paints; the old paints I own will be wasted. I am saving up crystals for Viking M2 when I reach Lt. Colonel but now I may need to spend some for paints. This update messes me up and turns my plan upside down  :angry: .

As someone who has MUed his M3 Firebird and Rico a lot ... then for once this change has been good for me.

 

But I still have a lot of sympathy for players who have seen their garages ruined by yet another dunb arse balance.

 

It was obvious to everybody that Hammer and Vulcan were OP ... all they needed to was balance these turrets.

 

I feel especially sorry for Smoky users .... this turret really has been ruined ..... so much I do not need to use my Needle paint anymore.

 

But then again it could be that I am still so bitter after spending a fortune on fully upgrading my Shaft to M4, Tanki decided to light it up like a xmas tree.

Having tried with my Thunder M3 for two days now, I am convinced that Thunder is the total loser of these changes. Even with a hull protection of nearly 300 no chance. Its long time to fix to a target makes me simply dead with this outstandingly poor fire rate.

 

My verdict is that these changes are absolutely negative and speaking about more equality in battles needs a new definition of equality.

 

Congratulations to all Ricochet and Hammer owners: You are the winners. I assume that the developers or initiators of the changes are big fans of these cannons.

 

This has destroyed my pleasure in the game. :angry:

Increase in burning damage

 

 

Firebird was already OP. And more burning damage now?

Yes, but the effective range has been largely cut dow to only 5m for all levels, which didn not mention in the V-LOG42 last week. I can see if you want to use Firebird, you have got to use fast hulls to ram to the enemy tanks.

My verdict is that these changes are absolutely negative and speaking about more equality in battles needs a new definition of equality.

Thunder is not the worst; Smoky is . I agree that the reolad of Thunder is now way too long. You better kill your target with just one, and the first, shot otherwise you will be a dead man next. However, Smoky is a poor guy now; it is totally downgraded. I don't mean it doesn't kill but it is really pathetic now. Ricochet is, absolutly, the big winner in this update. It is fully up-powered, again; without receiving any negative change in any parameter. I once played a 6 vs 6 TDM match yesterday, I was the only tank that was not a Ricochet ! LOL !

DIFFERENCE DOES NOT EQUAL NERFING


 


Yes, it deserved a 18pt allcaps text. Why?


 


People are complaining about how their turrets are "ruined", yet they still retain their purpose.


 


The only exception is freeze, which had such a drastic change it COULD be a nerf.


 


Smoky users have extra impact force, and added regular damage. This allows Smoky users to be more efficient at dispatching enemies without having to rely on a critical hit. Critical hits are still good, but it is not as if they have been ruined. The only other nerf was a damage nerf at maximum range, but who snipes with Smoky anymore?


 


Thunder users have a higher increase in max damage than they do in reload time, and a better impact force. The only truly crippling nerf is a range nerf, but 60% past max to 50% past max...You're not going to feel a difference.


 


Isida users lose a stupidly large firing cone for better offensive and support power. Heck, even the range is the greatest of the three close-range turrets.

I love using Railgun and Hornet/Wasp. But what should i do now? Freeze has become WAY to  good. I just played in Island agaist a team of 3 m2 freezes.

I have all turrets m1 except Freeze, Vulcan and Hammer. I mainly use Rail and Thunder, but shouldi restart with freeze? Freeze is way to OP and, and it should be nerfed. Im startig to see why supernick95 and others left. Please devs,  don't let Tanki go the way of other games.

How about bringing in qualified workers and getting rid of the current ones? 

 

Firstly, you unbalanced the game by this pointless rebalance.

 

The jackhammer kit is unlocked in brigadier. Hammer and Viking m3 isn't even unlocked in brigadier. You told us this is unfair in the past and yet you are doing this again. 

 

Also, you are giving us these increased gold boxes and double funds and only 25% a sale. I think most people have crystals by now, we need sales. The last 50% sale was over 4 months ago. 

 

Are you looking for more money or what?  :D

I completely agree. For a weapon that visually shoots like a straight line, it sure is able to bend in a huge unrealistic radius and hit tanks that are like 10-20 degrees off center. I could make an hour long video of the number of times I've been killed by rail when the line doesn't even hit my tank or is even 10 feet away. Heck, I've turned corners and my hull has passed the wall, and I still get killed. It's ridiculous.

Doubly ridiculous , since they increased rate of fire of failgun .  Which certainly was not needed except as "gift" to failgun users. Sheer Favoritism.

 

At the least they won't get another dime out of anyone who bought Vulcan and MU one. Myself included.

Rail stuff like that is lag. I use rail and i lag, so people call mea hacker.

I took my M3 Smoky fully mued out today and the word I have to say is predictable. I don't think it's been nerfed. They added power to it. Constant damage is the word.  Sorry!!!

I was just asked, why I have an M3 Thunder with my rank. Big surprise - the biggest for myself. The reason is simple: I have since the mouse control introduction terrible and permanent problems with my shaft. They cannot sort it out so far. So, I had the problem and invested - very rare for me - real money in what they called "Bulldozer Kit": M2 Mammoth + M3 Thunder.

 

Took quite a while getting used to it, but then they changed the parameters. That exactly when I was upgrading from relaod time 2.25 to 2.22 - for a lot of crystals. Great, wonderful.

 

But there is more: How can it be that battles are open for up to 10 ranks??? How can a Lieutenant with any M1 survive or think to kill a highly upgraded M3??? Nonsense. Evidence? I cannot remember having seen so many results with such huge differences in the outcome before.

 

Perhaps they want to make us players buy these wonderful repair, protection and whatsoever kits for much money to reduce frustration during the game.

 

Fact for me is that the fun is at a very low level. I have nothing against the better ones winning or being killed. If the other one is better than me - congratulations, well deserved. But

 

M3 thunder at that rank? you OP noob...

Was the result of their Bulldozer Kit: M2 Mammoth + M3 Tunder. I was very surprised myself.

I have all against unequal battles.

It's called experience. I don't need battle supplies at my rank most of the time. If I pass by them I will pick it up along the way. Very little battle supply used for me. I know what distance to keep and how to handle the equipment that I battle against. I run all turrets and know how to use them. I don't run Twin, Rail, and Freeze their boring to me. I have always been a lone wolf and that has helped me out a lot. I can read and see how the battle is going to play out and who to stay after. I am a game changer because I have seen it all. I came up through the ranks during the dirty tricks period with lessor equipment then you guys have today. We didn't have kits or fair play. Equipment you can buy earlier than your rank talk about easy. You guys have it made. I seen all the rebalances and have adapted. It makes you a better player if you can adapted. If I was handed a spoon I will make it work........lol. Everyone relax and give it a chance you might figure it out and make it work for you!!!!

Thunder is like a girl that needs a man to defend her :rolleyes: so please improve it:

Increase the damage it does at close range, because you always die instantly when people follow you.

Increase it's accuracy i can barely shoot anything at long range.

Increase it's range.

You must not have looked at Vulcan yet. It's trash now.
