There are too many people playing in teams in the DM matches

Recommended Posts

Actually, the one thing Tanki can do is create a new format for battles, called maybe "Random Battle".

In this format, there will be created battles  as usual, BUT participants won't see who's in it and won't be able to choose team. There will be a "play" button and Tanki will automatically put this player into a suitable team. Once in, the players will know who's with them, but invitations won't be available. So,play or leave. Thus the teams will be randomly selected.

(ofcourse, raiders will not participate in these battles, because they won't be capable of attending the same team)

This format would be super!

But it won't be installed in Tanki, unfortunately

This game has become really unbalanced, too much (real) money just to keep up with all the new items, greed is the God that Devs worship and whoever can't pay is doomed in frustration.

So, I don't know why anyone should bother to think and propose solutions, nothing is going to change unless new ways of milking the players are developed. In fact, that's what developers do; they develop new ways to milk players. At least, my experience with them indicates what I said.

Fed up with teams of "thunders" , "railguns" etc in death matches. Particularly when you have bought pro passes. It should be about skill in those games at least - but you haave gangs of people, usalluy divided by some religious, ethic or national catagory making it impossible for decent players to simply have a game. Tanki can you do anything about this.

Why prevent people from forming alliances? Everywhere, DMs, Tanki, Hunger Games, Clash of Clans, Real Life, the 4th Dimension, everywhere is about having friends, belonging to a group, etc. I can't really prove the fact that this is a "bad idea". But really, it's just plain madness.

And what does being in a team have to do with skill? If other people are in huge alliances and they're rekking you because you're alone, then it only means you don't have skills in teaming.

DM is a kind of individual game mode, and players who got enough from team games are playing these modes.

(I agree, the 4th Dimension is a strategy game btw)

(And real life is also a strategy game indeed, very fun game, but no respawn sadly)

(And Hunger Games is defo not a book, its a game, yep.)

At least read before arguing...

And in the debut of the human race, where everyone was lone, those who grouped up with others were the ones who thrived...

Again, I don't have any point to prove that this idea is flawed, but the fact of preventing someone from teaming with another is just unethical.

Organized teams are a common occurrence in all game modes.  It is very frustrating to the player who keeps odd hours or is unappealing as a potential clan recruit.  The rank system certainly isn't conducive towards cajoling your real life friends to play with you, believe me I've tried.  Otherwise it is just part of the game and is generally encouraged by the devs.  Since teams tend to drug a lot in order to completely dominate, and because people tend to drug once they realize they are up against a premade so it is unlikely tanki would want to anger so many buyers by making a rule against it.

I agree with rustynail's suggestion.  To flesh out  the idea a little bit more:  A simple quickjoin button that would shuffle players into randomly generated and rank appropriate matches, not unlike the starting matches when you first make an account.  This button would have to pool from every server to insure the largest number of matches and an even distribution of players.  These maps would have their own icon and only be joinable through the quickjoin button.  Ideally a preference for map size would be given so that player equipment matches the assigned map.  This would also have the added benefit of popularizing some less popular maps.  Teams would not be harmed as this does not change the rules or replace regular maps.  It would only act as a supplement and a safe haven.  It would also help those too lazy to find a match since it would only require a single button press.

It is not a big issue..if there is a teaming in a DM then every tanker will mostly concentrate on them and will often try to destroy them.Teaming is not a big issue until they are using skype. What teaming can do?Just destroying tankers together. There is no healing power for isida in DM...I think a PRO player can handle this..
