Getting a PC Built!

What if I change my video card and keep the i3? My current one has a 430$ budget.

What if you do that and you end up not happy. Then it leads to another purchase later. I would get what you want now. Because you probably will upgrade one of them later. More money spent! Just get the i5 and the video card you want!

I can't go for that financially. You see the most I'm willing to spend on a PC is 500$. I don't have a job yet, I make around 200$ a year with my band, the rest comes from Eid and my birthday. I'm really not a hardcore gamer and won't be playing GTA V. The most I'll be going for is minecraft or Team Fortress 2. Maybe later on, if I have more money, I'll change.

If you are going to play minecraft you won't need a 500$ pc. A 300 ~ 350$ might be enough. A low end cpu like pentium and amd r7 series is enough. Here is a site that will help you build pc of any budget. http://www.logicalincrements.com
