Is this new reward system (daily - weekly missions) permanent or just for Halloween-week ?

Unfortunately, it is permanent.

 

"Here the most significant change is the rework of the weekly mission chains. They will be removed from the game, and in their place weekly missions will be added."

I wonder sometimes, what is the use of a forum if none of the devs takes the remarks made in account ?

Lots op people complain about matchmaking and the way rewards are granted (stupid batteries for players without drones, ...), and all they do is think of new paints, minor modifcations to the amount of damage some hulls can do and making a bad system (MM) worse...

Complete 20 daily missons in a week... That's 3 missions a day ! And the missions are getting harder (finish 7 battles, earn 750 XP in DM, ...). Do they want us to play TO all evening ? Or just buy stuff to make our gear better so we can complete the missions easier ?

I just got my first weekly container, it I have to say it was basically garbage.  3000 crystals, 60 ea of basic supplies, 20 repair and 10 battery.  I average better than that from the old weekly 4 containes I used to get, plus there I at least had the chance to get an interesting paint.  Here, it's just junk (i.e. supplies that I accumlate faster than I can use for the most part.)

Just when I thought finishing the kill 500 tanks mission was a huge relief, now I need to be in one of the top three places in a winning team for 15 battles...

 

 

Wow these requirements are complete overkill. I never faced this kind of difficulty finishing missions in the previous system, now I need to struggle massively just for the same rewards I used to get... -_-

Both my accounts got that mission FIRST week.   One is giving up on it - 3/15 after 8 days...

These kind of missions are insane. What's the purpose of all this ? Less completed missions = less rewards = more need to buy ?

I'm assuming just that !

 

Stay tuned for next week when I'm gonna get a mission like: Be juggernaut 100 times, or capture 50 flags with your eyes closed...

 

Actually I may not even get those because I may be stuck on this weekly mission for like a month  :lol:

And when you finally get that 20-daily-mission one complete in middle of week - be prepared to wait 4-5 days for it to re-load.

Absolute rubbish it has a fixed day of the week.

 

It's almost like they want us to leave.  Pretty soon there will be a group of buyers and no-lifers playing MM, and that's it.

Everyone else will be in pro-battles, or have left altogether.

I have already gave up doing missions and gave up playing. I will stay away for a while then come back some time after X'mas-New Year to see would things (missions, match making, hackers) be fixed.

 

P.S. get 2 more containers from missions per week doesn't mean anything if we keep getting something doesn't help in the battles something like paints, shoot colours etc.

True, I had finished the 20 daily missions by only doing the easy ones, then I was baffled that I needed to wait another week for it..

 

I think the situation in MM is already mostly like what you said.

I can't stand playing it, genuinely feels like I'm punishing myself rather than enjoying it... really depressing stuff have happened to the gameplay nowadays  :/

 

 

Edit: This also made me become a drugger recently in several battles, and I was never a drugger in any of the years I've played since 2014.. I hate spamming number keys to get an advantage, I like strategy gameplay even if I lose badly at least I put some effort into it!

If one weekly mission on my main account disappears for a number of days, I stop playing MM on it until it returns.

 

 

I'm gonna try this method and see if it's a way around this whole weekly mission crap.

So now that my weekly missions are finally done mid-way through 2nd week, there's no point in playing until "next week".

 

Is this what Devs intended?   Less players in battles?    :wacko:

The recent change to missions might not suck so terribly bad IF it worked!

 

I just checked my weekly missions and needed two daily missions for the /10 and /20 weekly missions.  I needed two for each.  I played the game.  I got two daily missions completed.  I claimed them.  When I went to weekly missions - NO CHANGE!

I really wish Tanki would work harder to PREVENT AND FIX BUGS.

I wouldn't care if Tanki didn't introduce a single new feature for the next year, if they would just spend the time and effort on fixing stuff that DOES NOT WORK!

The whole idea of "strategy" went out the window when Matchmaking blew in.  Tanki's whole approach - cram as many players onto a map as possible, widen all the pathways so every noob can navigate easily, just make it a complete shoot-fest - no strategy, barely any thought at all, just shoot as fast as you can.

 

Tanki used to be more fun than it is now.  Devs have done some good things - but Matchmaker is TERRIBLE and I can't imagine that the number of players is going up. And the bugs.  All the bugs.  Failure. No corrections.  Just pathetic.

That's perfectly true, drugging has spread from the higher ranks to all the ranks in the game, and from certain situations to every situation.

Whichever battle I enter, whatever account I play on, it's always there, drugfests.

 

The keypad buttons have changed from being occasionally used, to being pressed so rapidly you'd think this is one of those "how fast can you press the button!" games  lol

The winki suggests you are joking but can't be 100% sure...

 

What having fewer players does do is increase waiting time for each battle.

It was a joke, sarcasm.

Less players = longer waiting times and even more unbalanced battles because less people of your own rank are online.

urghhh...i end up wasting too many crystals on changing these missions so i can actually manage to do maybe 2 of them in one day. I don't mind doing 3 missions a day, but only if they are reasonable like before this update

Also, is there really a kill 500 enemies mission? this game really feels like a chore nowadays
