Instead of banning a person when he posts something offensive why not hide the post only?

I am not supporting them, and you mean they learn from bans? I think it would be better that the post doesn't appear on the game chat to keep the environment clean.

We do not ban players for such small reasons, not at all. We edit posts or issue warnings. Bans for minor flood/spam doesn't seem to justify a violation. It's a small mistake for which we take things easy.

 

Forum moderators report violations containing nudity, profanity, provocative content, trolling etc. Sometimes we even forsake troll posts to keep the forum's enviorenment joyful or communication-friendly. 

 

But that's the forum's story. There is a whole different story for the chat lobby which can be better explained, or has already been explained, by a chat moderator.

 

In my opinion some players would escape such restriction, as they already have. Players use different ways of 'expressing' their thoughts, mostly those whom use profanity. They spell the word differently, use a different language or even try to get to the point by converting the word into a sentence. If such an idea was implemented, I wouldn't see that much effect or change on the chat's environment.

I know you chat mods don't ban people on such small reasons, BUT... We all know about auto-bans, and these auto-bans are very strict, if you don't believe me try it yourself.  :ph34r:

the main reason why they show us the post is for us to take note of these  player`s  cause they will continue to do it time and time again most learn from there mistakes but there are a small group that things this is a game and enjoys it ..but really in the long run these players who continue to break rules are only making them self`s look like a fool in front of there friends and in time those friends will want nothing to do with them......

The players would also learn from their mistakes when the screen will say the post is not posted. And how can they continue if we can't post those types of things?

i like it.a benefit would be there would be not any or less chat reports. but i think in chat in lobby (not battle chat) the mods should be able to see the violators posts so they could be banned,for something that was wrong
