Bigpoint games absolutely SUCK. Here is every Bigpoint game:

9999 bots farming NPCS

Rich people bidding 999,999,999,999,999 in auctions

nooby currency for everyone

rich buyers have some premium currency with max "hulls" or "drones" or whatever

making like a few weapons then adding "weapon 4" for premium users

stupid happy hour

 

bg is okay though, controls are disappointing

Good summary of every bigpoint game, ever. I played Darkorbit as well some time ago, but I had to leave because VRU were getting too OP on the server... Shame, because I spent a fair bit of money to get my Goliath design and my LF-4's.

 

Battlestar Galactica Online (which I'm currently playing) has so far proven to be one of the best Bigpoint games as it supports epic Unity graphics and HUD, but it still has the grinding problem, the unachievable RAM requirements and buyers spoiling the fun. One should learn to cope with the downsides of games and then he/she will get more enjoyment out of the whole thing :)

A pure fun games with family and friends. Even cheating in those games did not bother opponent whereas he/she enjoys it.

I still have that game. its on playstation. the good ol' playstation. where you controlled things with YOUR HANDS, not your brain. stupid techies have no appreciation for TRUE skill. heck, I don't even have an Xbox, save the Idaho one in storage.

I love that game because of super grippy wheels, "digital" buildings, & super fast reverse (which is way faster than the speed of light). :P
