Same situation here. Almost all of my friends play that game but not me.. And none of my friends know what tanki online is

Did you simply got bored of it or you were planning it for a long time but somehow couldn't and now that you have done it, you're very proud of it?

It wasn't boring, it was strategic and I love strategic games and it got me really addicted. The game has its fun parts like clan wars and interacting with clan-mates if you happen to find a good clan.

However, at later stages, the game wants you to either spend real money, or wait for a few weeks for you to complete an upgrade. Also, saving for those upgrades would require you to raid others' bases with your army. A good army needs at least  20-30 minutes to be ready. If you logged out during this period, someone else could attack your base and take away a part of your resources. So, it was an endless loop of raiding and waiting then spending the resources and again waiting for the upgrade to be complete..

Therefore, the deeper you get into the game, the more time the game demands. So, I was wasting a lot of time on the game, having my phone constantly plugged in, checking the phone every 5 minutes so that I wouldn't get logged out due to inactivity.

 

Yes, I am happy and proud of the fact that I am no longer wasting hours on a mobile game.

And since I play on a rather old laptop, half my Steam library is older than me, and 90% of it is unsuitable for 12 year olds :p

too bad its only on the PS4. Hopefully it comes to PC.
The gameplay reminds me of the Arkham games. Which is interesting.

I was playing it a bit for the past few weeks. Simply put, I am not an android gamer and probably will never be. I really got bored out of it before even reaching TH5. I like strategy and action games, but this one is not my type.. I still haven't uninstalled it, just occasionally drop-by upgrading some things.. idk. I generally like the game, but I will not continue playing it.
