Me too, but haven't played it since last year October ( I ranked up to level 10) I'm now updating this game then play again soon.

I play Minecraft since yesterday again, but just to build.I probably find it stupid already in around a week.

There are so many things you can do. People are building whole other GAMES on top of minecraft! people have built computers with it! with mods, people can create a factory. you can explore new dimensions. make new things. find new animals. you can do anything you can ever possibly dream of. Minecraft is a great big dream world where you can do whatever you want. You can tell who hasn't played minecraft. They all say "oh its just a bunch of stupid blocks." They never think. They don't understand the minecraft community. People buy the game every second. But yet, it doesn't attract them. They find it "babyish" or "boring after a couple days" But they don't get it. they don't fully explore it. no ones fully explored minecraft. Minecraft is like the universe. it can never fully be explored, and it keeps growing every millisecond.

Can I just say how stupid this is. Holy crap, this forum is just terrible! You have a specific topic for "other games"?!

 

I have previously created topics of other games (Dota 2 & Cookie Clicker). Which, of course, led to either a ban or just simply to closure of the thread. I had the knowledge that it wasn't allowed but it's so ridiculous that I didn't care.

Let me put this in perspective for those who don't understand. (If you ban me or block those links then that is just low, and it really says a lot on how stupid the rules and authorities are) (REMEMBER: No one has to click on those links! If anything I trust those sites more than I trust Tanki Online)

Ok, those are just a few examples I thought of to show what I mean. No one else is preventing discussion of other games, they accept it.

 

Let me define what a forum is. The official definition is "A place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged", also "A public meeting place for open discussions". So we can all agree that in a forum discussions should take place. But, as we all know, it has evolved to a much bigger extent. A great example of this is the creativity section. I love that part of the forum! There is little to no presence of mods there, we can find new and interesting content everyday. It's just wonderful. And guess what, no discussion takes place there. So we can also agree that a forum is not just a place for discussion, it is a community. A forum community, the Tanki Online forum community. Now, I don't frequent forums as much as I used to. But from experience I can say that when you are part of a community, really part of it, you always want what is best for it. This means if a spammer comes along pretty much everyone is going to report him, and when he gets banned we will all feel satisfied. Why am I saying this? I am saying this because I know that there are people here to frequent this forum and they want what's best for it. And it's really sad to see people quit because of what this forum has come to. And it's not because the authorities are unaware of what is going on. The moderators and admins know damn right that the members of this community are unhappy. And we all just want what's best, we aren't against the authorities. We are against the wrong actions being taken, the incorrect decisions, we just want what's best.

 

What does this have to do with "Other games". Well it's not that this matter has to do with other games, this topic is an example of the wrong decisions being made. Don't get me wrong, it is an improvement from when we couldn't even mention other games. I wish we could get a show of hands of people that frequent the forums and don't play Tanki Online, because I'm one of those. The last time I really played, not just played because I started going on the forums again, played because I really enjoyed it was beginning of last year. And even then it was because I was playing with a friend, if my friend didn't play I wouldn't even think about playing Tanki. We, the community, also play other games. And I'm sure moderators and admins play too.

 

I could go on and on, but to keep it short I'll end my rant here. A single topic for game discussions is ridiculous and laughable. Think of how cool it would be to have Tanki members playing other games together, sure that's possible now but we should insensitive that, because that is a characteristic of a gaming community. I think, as well as almost every other forums besides Tanki, that a Off Topic section for other games to be discussed is necessary and I hope that this post may have changed someone's mind on what should be done. I hope people agree with me and I thank you for your attention, I know it's not easy and can get quite boring reading my long rants on specific subject matters.

I agree - what's the point in calling this section Off-Topic Discussion when only 2/10 don't have something to do with Tanki, "Current Music" and "Happy Birthday" are two of the very very few examples.

I was about to play that game. It looked very interesting. Although first you have to install the Unity app thing? Well when I was about to install it, my Anti-virus said that the page contained Trojan malware. . .Tried to infect my Laptop. :mellow:  Good thing Anti-virus blocked it. -_-

I have to disagree with you, sir. Although forums are for discussing all kinds of different things, every forum is specialized. You probably wouldn't go to a cooking forum and create a topic discussing whether or not there is life on other planets would you? No. In the same way, this is the Tanki forum, meant for discussing various things related to Tanki Online. There are some exceptions, however, the Off-Topic section being one of them, where people can discuss just about anything. Right now there is only (this) one topic for discussing other video games, and that's really good. Still, we are on the Tanki forum, and if you want to discuss more about other games than is possible in this topic, why not go to a forum for that different game? 

That's just my personal opinion.

If I remember, I think the players were mkkmkk999, mchen, cartzz, lok but he lept leaving and we kept adding him back xD and some other guy which I probs forgot about. Idk if you were there or not.

Cooking and space have nothing to do with each other, jokjinari :). Tanki Online and e.g. Minecraft share something in common as they're both games.
