As with guns fitting the map…I’ve notice that some guns work better on some maps than others.

 

But as one who can not buy crystals, I can have only two guns (not counting my smoky, for which I don’t use)  and afford the upkeep. Even with only two guns I have financial problems. And then there the upkeep on my track, on top of my guns. No one who doesn’t buy crystals can afford a gun that’s suitable for many maps.

 

And the same  goes for my track, too. I have only one track because I cant afford another one and upkeep that one on top of all my other expenses.

 

So you can be annoyed all you want on in a game with mismatch guns because the reality is the same for most Tanki gamers as it is for me. We only have the crystals we earn in game.

Upkeep, you mean micro upgrading?

 

if it is, I wouldn't micro upgrade at your rank, the benefits are negligible.

i would micro upgrade a hull if the next full upgrade was too far to worry about.

eg: dictator m2 unlocks at first lietenant (280,000 exp), m3 wont unlock until generalisimo(1,400,000), you coulld micro upgrade that as it will maintain relevence longer.

viking on the other hand, m2 unlocks at lieutenant colonel (455,000exp), m3 unlocks at lieutenant general (787,000exp)

anything that unlocks m3 at marshal  or before i would not micro upgrade until i have an m3.

I agree with you on twins and firebird, but hammer has been constantly nerfed since it's arrival, and it is pretty underpowered now. Hammer can only take on light hulls, and that's it.

I think it is  Absurdly overpowered.

what else would you mean? i like to be specific, never heard anyone ever talking about their upkeep. plus for someone as clueless about the game as you are you have some freaking serious attitude problem.

i have advised on how you can get better organisation and more from your garage and you act like a brat.

 

it's good advice, you can take it or leave it, makes no difference to me,

except if you join my team and think "So you can be annoyed all you want on in a game with mismatch guns because the reality is the same for most Tanki gamers as it is for me. We only have the crystals we earn in game." is a valid reason to be useless, it's not.

I think it is  Absurdly overpowered.

Unlucky, every game with at least a little of equipment diversification will have the Rock/Paper/scissor issue. in simple words, some turrets are an hard-counter for the other ones. you cant really beat a firebird/twins/hammer using railgun in an open field when him randomly appear near to you.

 

How to solve this? Tactical play and thinking ahead. some basic tips from me, that can be archieved by everyone with a little of gaming skill and ability to same some crystals.

 

1) get atleast 2 turrets, one for close range and one for long range. example: Firebird + Railgun, Twins + Thunder, Isida + Smoky... whatever you like the most. i hope your 2 turrets are not Freeze and Firebird or Railgun and Shaft. those would give you similar and boring gameplay and inability to play effectively in some situations.

 

2)buy 2 hulls, a light one and a medium/heavy one. same reasons as above.

 

3)get one medium paint or some cheap ones. example: Rustle, Loam, Savanna are good choiches. get one during a sale and keep it as your main paint. if you find another gun particulary annoying, get a cheap one. examples are lava, in love, dragon, cedar, tundra. to use only when you find that gun overwhelming.

 

4) THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE: if you cant follow the standard rules above, and you wasted all your crystals/were unable for any possible reason... LEARN WHAT YOU CAN DO AND WHAT YOU CANT. as an example, NEVER charge an hammer using an XP or a light hull. or stay away from the isida/mammoth if you happen to have isida and a weaker tank. or try to avoid playing maps like sandbox using mammoth/shaft Or titan/isida on Kungur. if you chose one combo, be sure to master it and know its limits.

Twins needs to be nerfed as soon as possible. It is not fair that Twins is so powerful at short ranges. it is a medium range turret and now Twins is being used in Small maps and ruining gameplay. Especially in Island and Arena. You have obstacles to go around and by the time you get there you can barely damage someone using twins since they knock off your aim and turn your hull in different directions.

 

Recently i played a Polygon CP match. My team was being bombarded by 2 M2 twins, 1 M3 twins, and 2 M1 Twins. My team had M3 and M2 hulls that are very superior but they couldnt do anything because their aim and hulls were being knocked in different directions.

 

Twins is defeating the purpose of short range turrets and its only gonna get worse if something doesnt happen. Make the fire rate of twins less effective. A Vulcan which has higher damage and faster firing rate cant even defeat a twins. I should know, i play with M0 vulcan and M1 titan on my lower acc.

 

The fire rate makes the gun OP when there are multiple twins in the same map. It shouldnt be so overpowered at short ranges especially most players pair it with Titan M2 at my rank. Its hard to defeat them when they are drugging and since most of them use loam... Using Firebird which is one of the fastest turrets to gain kills with cant even defeat them.

Twins is fine as it is. in my opinion...

 

Look, just use a medium or heavy hull with a paint that protects against Twins, and you'll be almost invincible to it. The best paint for Twins right now at your rank is Roger I think? Get that, then get Rock when you reach Field Marshall.

 

Twins isn't OP.. I don't see any problem with it.

They should make it so that you have to press the spacebar every time to fire twins instead of just being able to hold it.

true but if that happen, they would tap it fast and it would be as if they were holding it

Take cover, whether its while your reloading, or just running. take cover. its not like Railgun where you take one hit and a massive chunk of your health is gone. it does small damage, meaning that its very easy to deal with if you just take cover. What if there is no cover around? Run and shoot. Twins damage decreases massively over range. And if twins does really bother you that much, get a paint like urban.

you saw me struggle in the arena cp. Lol i could barely point my turret at them... Bro short range maps are not for Railgun... Me and them dont pair well together...that is unless i use wasp or hunter

It is the only turret with unlimited ammo. That makes it very OP.

Wrong... Vulcan has infinite ammo as well. It just overheats making you stop the gun.

? Im saying that twins arnet like railgun and its easier to take cover from them because you can survive a hit. Don't challenge twins. Let them rush you.

Twins is not op. If you lose against it is just because u are not enought skilled or you don't use the right combo. You can't think that ONE combo is enought for play all kind of battle. you need to have enought combos for all kind of maps and enought good paints for all kind of enemy combo. This is a pvp game, so if tou dislike so much twins find your specific combo to burn em up. Example i hate railguns and freeze i bought prodigy and inferno. Everyone here hates a specific weapon, but saying that this one is op guessing that staff will reduce it to an useless weapon like happened before is quiete selfish....

Can you folks stop with this ridiculous "Skill" card like seriously dont even bother saying it to me because its just a desperate attempt to call someone a noob. The right combo is the combo you choose to use. You may be using a specific combo because its the only one you have, its the one your best with, maybe its the one you gain experience faster with. I obviously dont have the proper modification of my combo because i am waiting for the Tankmans day sale. Nonetheless my combo still works for me and i can still finish first in battles. Win even. I cannot however defeat a twins without circling him because the turret will just push my tank out of place and i will get damaged by other opponents. Ricochet is worse but it doesnt have the rapid fire. Its not whether your skilled enough or not, you dumb Generalissimos need to stop thinking your better than everyone else. Its getting on my nerves and frankly this game is hardly about "Skill" anymore. 

 

No i dont think one combo is best for every battle. Thats why i use Wasp, Hunter, and Titan. I also use Firebird, Thunder, Vulcan, Ricochet, Freeze, Isida, and Railgun. That is a perfect arsenal for every kind of battle... dont ya think. You must understand that not everyone can afford all those fancy paints. Urban has the most protection on twins for my rank. Thats one weapon. You think im gonna go out of my way to buy that when i can buy 2 M2's and start working on M3's? Heck i could buy M2 Wasp and M2 Hunter at 50% off for the price of Urban. I would much rather save for lumberjack. 

 

Hmm with every update that balances turrets and hulls your combo will start to change. I went from Freeze to Ricochet, to Thunder, then to Railgun. I am starting to use Firebird more often at the moment. You understand that Twins was never weak right... It was that many players had Urban from First Lieutenant. It made M1 Twins useless since most of those players got Urban from the Heavy tank kit M2. If you remember the Hull Kit M2 that unlocked at Warrant Officer 5, you would understand that most of those players who bought that kit used Viking M2, with M1 Twins.

Twins is not OP, I've seen it at M1-M2 and M3, now a Vulcan with DP and Zeus/Lome is a threat.

 

Just buy Twins protection.

 

BTW it was improved in power in the last "balance" before it the weapon was useless. Its still not as OP as straight after the rebalance.
