Twins is not OP, I've seen it at M1-M2 and M3, now a Vulcan with DP and Zeus/Lome is a threat.

 

Just buy Twins protection.

 

BTW it was improved in power in the last "balance" before it the weapon was useless. Its still not as OP as straight after the rebalance.

OMG IT WAS NEVER USELESS. You people always used it with mammoth. Thats why it was useless.

They should make it so that you have to press the spacebar every time to fire twins instead of just being able to hold it.

I'm pretty sure that can be exploited extremely easily.

It is the only turret with unlimited ammo. That makes it very OP.

Every turret has unlimited ammunition, I think the word you're looking for is fire-rate, and yes that is true it is extremely op, I use twins m1 and I can still mow down hornet m2's even if they have roger, they definetely need to nerf the DPS, but my tactic of twins is to run around in circles and fire at the same time, since twins isn't a scan weapon, and actually has projectiles (I'm assuming) you can evade them easily unless they're skilled, in which case they would fire infront of you and hit you.

exactly; it would make less people use twins

For every turret you can hold down the space bar so the shots continue firing without you needing to do anything else. Asking to make a person have to tap the spacebar everytime they fire twins would have to result in tanki doing that to Vulcan as well. That would defeat the purpose of "Rapid-Fire"

Good, twins and vulcan are the most annoying and least skillful turrets in the game

Can you folks stop with this ridiculous "Skill" card like seriously dont even bother saying it to me because its just a desperate attempt to call someone a noob. The right combo is the combo you choose to use. You may be using a specific combo because its the only one you have, its the one your best with, maybe its the one you gain experience faster with. I obviously dont have the proper modification of my combo because i am waiting for the Tankmans day sale. Nonetheless my combo still works for me and i can still finish first in battles. Win even. I cannot however defeat a twins without circling him because the turret will just push my tank out of place and i will get damaged by other opponents. Ricochet is worse but it doesnt have the rapid fire. Its not whether your skilled enough or not, you dumb Generalissimos need to stop thinking your better than everyone else. Its getting on my nerves and frankly this game is hardly about "Skill" anymore. 

 

No i dont think one combo is best for every battle. Thats why i use Wasp, Hunter, and Titan. I also use Firebird, Thunder, Vulcan, Ricochet, Freeze, Isida, and Railgun. That is a perfect arsenal for every kind of battle... dont ya think. You must understand that not everyone can afford all those fancy paints. Urban has the most protection on twins for my rank. Thats one weapon. You think im gonna go out of my way to buy that when i can buy 2 M2's and start working on M3's? Heck i could buy M2 Wasp and M2 Hunter at 50% off for the price of Urban. I would much rather save for lumberjack. 

 

Hmm with every update that balances turrets and hulls your combo will start to change. I went from Freeze to Ricochet, to Thunder, then to Railgun. I am starting to use Firebird more often at the moment. You understand that Twins was never weak right... It was that many players had Urban from First Lieutenant. It made M1 Twins useless since most of those players got Urban from the Heavy tank kit M2. If you remember the Hull Kit M2 that unlocked at Warrant Officer 5, you would understand that most of those players who bought that kit used Viking M2, with M1 Twins.

 

 

You have Titan and you still have problems with aiming when a twins is shooting you?

You have wasp but you still can't take cover or just back off away from a twins?

Tell us your combo you use when you see a twins with any hull and what you would do...

I play in small maps, such as sandbox, Arena, and Island. I dont have any M2 hulls yet. Using Wasp, i can still get killed by other tankers... why are you ignoring that there would be other tanks in the match. 

 

i mainly use Hunter M1, Firebird M2, and Storm. I normally try to hide but in maps like Arena i get stuck. In other maps when i am using wasp i troll the tanks by circling around them.

In Sandbox and Island, Twins is not a big problem. And just as you said, there are other tankers too, and half of them are your team-mates. So, in Arena, if you cant kill them, at least they can. Or, are you thinking that Firebird is a short range turret and you play in short maps, so you alone can deal with everyone, since you have m2?

Ofc you'll have a hard time playing against others with that equipment on your rank...It's not Twins being OP,it's your equipment being UP/rank

This is exactly what I hate. People are being stereotypical. If you can't stand Twins fire-rate and impact force, get a protection paint and use a heavy hull. 'Nuff said.

Hi,

 

Before I start, I would like to say that this is not a complaint. It is just a suggestion. (Excuse me if put this in the wrong section by the way)

 

I think that Mammoth M1 is a little underpowered. My M1 Titan has better armor and everything else after just 2 upgrades (which are dirt cheap at M1) than the mammoth, rendering it useless. Even though the mammoth is the first M1 hull available, I think it is a little too weak for what it should be.

The only reason you want twins nerfed is simply because you have got no m2 hulls or a strong twins protection paint, not that it is op. You also made a topic suggesting 2 nerf shaft and fire, what do you want 2 be nerfed next?

Viking needs more health... At m3 it only has 7 more health than m3 hunter, which is much faster than Viking. Dictator m3 has a whopping 55 more health than Viking m3, and is not much slower than Viking m3. I don't see much balance in the medium hulls, but I do see that It can be fixed by raising the health of Viking.

At generalissimo everyone can just wear rock, and get vulcan and hammers, it depends how good your team is and it depends what equipment your team has, the power of twins varies dramatically from battle to battle, so i think those variables need to be brought closer

 

But it does not need to be nerfed, twins actually has some major disadvantages

I really don't think they need to be nerfed. They used to be uncommon and I don't find difficulty in defeating them. I occasionally use twins myself, but they are O.K. (At least at m1 level). Maybe not twins in general, but I think that the dev should consider nerfing twins m2 because when I see one of those I get absolutely wrecked. Other than that I say No to twins getting nerved

Well, yeah. I am getting m2 viking soon. But wasp is way more powerful than hornet later on. m2 has only 2 less hp than m2 wasp, and m3 wasp only has a few less hp than m3 hornet, but m3 turrets deal quite a bit of damage so it doesnt matter. But m4 is about 35 less, so it's a bit worse, but still powerful.

Thanks guys, i thought that fully MU'ing hulls would make them stronger, but the difference between the stats of the hulls would still stay the same, meaning that for ex. hunter and Viking would still be separated by 7 health even though both are fully MU'ed. Now I know that's not the case.
