Ok so lets get one thing straight. Tanki basically nerfed popular weapons and made unpopular weapons stronger.

Well twins m4 got a buff-as damage and max range increased and rate of fire stayed the same- and twins m4 was very popular.

Twins got nerfed M4 is a whole different story. M4s are just OP.

M4's are actually the most balanced modification.  Because they are OP has nothing to do with whether they were nerfed or not, 

 

I have to strongly disagree with rail.  Rail was one of the most popular turret, and it STILL two-shot a hornet/wasp, but it reloads MUCH faster.  Which means I will be getting rail protection :P

Somewhat. Smoky is popular and got stronger in my opinion. they only weakened the critical hit because the raised the chances of them to a flat 1/5 shots, higher than an M3 MU'ed to M4

The reduction is power to the critical hit was much more significant than the small additional chance added for the CH to occur. 

 

Pre-adjustment the CHs added from about 14% to 18% to damage output. After the update CH's contribute about 1.8%.

 

But, short range was extended a bit and short-range damage increased some. In practical terms that makes up for a lot of what was lost to the bigger CHs.

Like I care.  Critical Hits made smoky so OP.  It was extremely irritating when a smoky landed a critical shot on me.

Well, now a CH a any given range is only 9% stronger than a normal hit at the same range.  So it shouldn't be too annoying from here out. :rolleyes:

 

However that extra 9% (w/DD up) can mean 1-hitting some Wasps (w/o DA up) at my level. (Or it can since my Smoky went to m2. 1-hitting anything unwounded I didn't expect.)

It would be funny if that critical hit would have wwwaayyy more impact force.

But maybe this increases only the anoying-factor of the Smoky, without beeing a real help damage wise

hmm.

It would be fun (for Smoky users) but I think the other players might hate it. :)

It's still very powerful. BTW who is better you or Tani_S? You both use m3 viking and have similiar turrets, and are the same rank?

No idea.

 

In DMs I'm average at best.

 

I'm more of a strategic and tactical player so Team battles are better for me.  Especially since half my experience probably came from Isida.

For me it's the same. I don't like 1v1 at all. Also I would expect that you will have a better protection for Thunder than I have for Smoky and in a 1v1 a Smoky is in general superior to Thunder. It also depends on the MU levels... my Wiking is at 26/50 and my Thunder at 25/50.

You are ahead of me on those MUs. Just bought my Guardian and it broke me.  So no crystals for MUs.

 

Saving now for a module that has Hammer - tired of my M3 Viking getting one-shotted by drugging hammers.
