Striker's laser and shaft's laser are the same, which makes it hard to tell what gun is aiming at you. Striker's laser should be a different color or something, for example, yellow, so you know it's striker. Because with shaft, you have no time. They shoot right when it's on you. But with striker, you have a couple of seconds to get out of there. Change the lasers so other players can distinguish between them.

If the enemy shoots in a second it's a Shaft. If not, it's a Striker (or a noob Shaft lol).

Smoky is extremely over powered, they need to make reload time shorter. it is very annoying & repetitive

They already increased the re-load time and nerfed the critical. What more do you want them to take away?

I already posted in a different topic, but I think it fits in this one too. I saw this guy today on my alt, M3 freeze 15 ranks before he unlocks it

 

Saw a tanker mid-last year around Captain rank - with Prodigy.

 

So let me get this straight... he archived an account that had one of those OP discontinued kits. Then brought it out of storage one year (or more?) later to dominate the mid-ranks? I mean... wow...

They probably opened the account back in 2012 when things unlocked early. Also notice they bought 250,000 crystals (snowflake paint), hence the M3 frezzer.

 

Tbh, this game is much more enjoyable at warrant officer ranks. More players and easier battles.

No, he just bought Sibernian kit and MU'ed it. I agree that warrant officer battles are more fun and relaxing, except when you are winning and then a guy like this joines . . .

I highly recommend that before you label ANY weapon as extremely OP, you try it out yourself (not for 5 minutes, but as a primary weapon on an alt). It will do wonders in taming your own opinions. If you already do this, then plz ignore this message.

The M2 alteration won't be good for any type of Isida player.

 

Sure it doubles the self-healing (to a whopping 20%) but at the expense of damage by -30%.

And coincidentally the self-healing is based on ........ damage - which is reduced by the same alteration. What were they thinking?

 

Paying (100,000? crys) for basically same net result? LMAO.

I have an idea! Why not make the isida's self heal dependent on the 'aim-lock' instead of damage? Freeing it from being tied to damage numbers. Don't know if that's even possible though. It'd be like if you are attacking, as long as you have a lock on the enemy, the self heal gauge would fill up by a set rate.

 

Wouldn't it make more sense then to have alterations that amplify only one each of the aspects - damage, self-heal or healing. Either way, net total effectiveness would remain same - that seems to the principle behind alterations anyway. Just the style of play being emphasized over any real advantage.

Game is waaay out of balance now, no point denying it. Low ranks with firebird M4... wow, just wow.

I feel like the game is pretty balanced now, at our ranks at least. The only thing that I can think of that would balance the game more is a slight nerf for hammer.

Personally I don't think Hammer needs to be nerfed, we all know that it is powerful Turret but 80% of the time I'm playing...you will always and always find people using Hammer protection and I'm not talking about 10 or even 20%... I'm talking about 35-50% especially these new modules that has been released and as you know Hammer was nerfed before so I really don't see a reason for Hammer to be nerfed or even slight nerf. This is just my opinion.

Yes you were and I did say that I was getting Shaft M4 but I still didn't get it. Hopefully I will get it in the near future.

Well I got the one that increases the sniping damage and I almost never got to unleash it because of the super slow charge time, so I feel like that one is kind of a waste. However, on the arcade shot alteration, it massively increases the effectiveness of arcade shots on DD, but without DD, the arcade shots are about the same effective.

Yea, I remember when I was playing against you in that DM... it was quite powerful especially when I got close to you and most of the time you weren't even loading the Turret, just pressing the space par and instant kill. I wonder if Shaft needs a bit of balance like slight nerf but since I'm not a Shaft user.. I will leave that to you but to me it was quite powerful. The reason why I'm getting the other alteration is just for fun like in Parkour battles where players sometimes drug with all these Viking M4s with all drugs on. If you use that alterations than instantly kills them so just for fun and when playing on long maps where loading the Turret is kinda necessary.

@hammer and hammer protection:

If protections are common or not does not influence if your turret is balanced or not.

 

(But anways I think that protections should be overall limited to 25..30%.)

Back then I didn't have the alteration. I just recently got it, about a week ago. My first game with the alteration was my best game ever, I think. Its in the shaft topic if you want to see it. The reason that the alteration buffs the arcade mode so much is because it allows you to two shot a viking m4 and steal kills much more easily on DD. Without the alteration, 2 shots on DD would not kill a viking m4, just leave it with a sliver of health. Oh, and if you are wondering why I am using viking m4 as an example it is because that is the most common hull that I encounter. As for nerfing the shaft, I only feel that the shaft is quite powerful when using DD, like hammer. I think the solution is to nerf drugs, that would solve a lot of problems.

The Shaft is the enemy of Tankers everywhere. At M0, it does a whopping 1000 damage, which is about the same as a M2 Railgun within the maximum damage range.

 

That is way to good to be true, because you save around 100,000 to 120,000 crystals. 

 

Also, on certain maps, you cannot go anywhere without getting blasted with the Shaft.

 

The shat is the only gun other than the Vulcan & Striker that tells you where you are aiming. 

 

Unlike the Vulcan and Striker, it can easily kill you, especially when using most hulls the Shaft usr can track and kill you. 

 

I have been on maps where it is Shaft/Railgun or die.

 

The Shaft should be nerfed. Increasing the cooldown time does nothing, as the majority of users hide after firing. The damage should be decreased to around 800.

 

The Shaft is very annoying and very hard to beat. Please make it underpowered again.

As you can see, you are too poor to buy M1 Shaft, I think thats why you are so angry. AND you are possibly trying to suggest to the devs for a lower price
