Its needed to reduce them from being extremely OP to balanced.

How about just removing the impact force increase from Stable Plasma? Stock Twins' impact force is already high enough but that should be a start.

 

With Minus-Field, they could probably decrease the maximum range extension and increase the reload time penalty. The problem I see with that is that if Minus-Field Stabilisation's effects is changed, then Plasma-Core Accelerators' effects would also have to be changed for consistency. 

 

 

How about seeing Twins for how it should be? I see it as it should be Twins with splash damage (Stock Twins) being the most popular Twins. Players didn't like that they had to buy an alteration just to use Twins the way it was before the splash damaged addition to it. It's clear that they get more score for Stable Plasma Twins than Stock Twins. They buffed Twins' splash damage range and all and they still aren't using it. 

 

You have to look at it from the angle of the Stock Turret. If the Stock turret has splash damage and the altered turret has no splash damage, then look at it just like that. See how it plays relative to the Stock turret. Splash damage can be a great asset for Twins. It's just that you don't find many situations where Stock Twins can prevail in MM.

When will minus field stabilisation and stable plasma get nerfed? They are each more OP than 100 juggernauts combined.

 

Well, back in Sept they nerfed stock Ricco reload and ranges.  So that made MFS less useful overall anyway.

 

I bought MFS to make it a long-range turret.  Not so much long-range even with MFS.

What's the point of MFS if you decrease the max range extension?  Might as well fight up close with Ricco and have better fire-rate and better re-load...

Rico and twins are MEANT to be short range turrets. They aren't supposed to compete with railgun at long range which THEY ARE DOING NOW.

Even with MFS before the Ricco nerf, they could never compete with Rail at long-range.

 

There's no possible way they are competing with Rail at long-range now.

The target would have to sit there immobile like a complete noob.  If you can't dodge those tracers at long distance you deserve to be destroyed.

Give Viking a weight buff and a speed nerf.

 

- 1 unit of speed at all modifications.

+ 400 units of weight at all modifications.

This is to de-OP vikings speed, which everyone complains that it's "too fast", and to buff it's weight instead, which us Viking users been complaining that it's too unstable.

If so then why you changing your mind now?

You're right, but changing the already slightly different stats to be almost identical would do no good.

Hunter and Viking themselves are very similar. No need to change Viking.

 

And plus, Viking's OD nerf is significant.

Well, why not swap the speed and weight stats of Viking and hunter then?

Maybe devs need to switch the stats of Hunter and Viking, meaning make Hunter accelerate slower but have faster speed, and make Viking accelerate faster but have a slower speed. This is because Viking can better handle a faster acceleration than Hunter for when one accelerates and shoot and better for Space mode too.

But then that wouldn't make sense because then hunter won't be able to use its rocking ability as much, and Viking would still have its aim knocked around like it does now.

Just increase Viking's weight and reduce its turning speed. Make it more stable. Kinda like putting stabilizers or a suspension system to prevent sudden sideways motion.

Many won't care about the turning speed nerf since they'll just be too ignorant. Plus it doesn't make sense for a hull with lots of weight to be so fast.

 

Also, Viking haters will still complain about it being too fast, but now there'll be no counter against it, except with OD.

It is not an improvement to Tanki!

It doesn't help to have the same exact hulls with different OD-just so YOU should have a Hunter M3 instead of a Viking M3-doesn't that sound kind of selfish?

Please explain the benefits of switching Viking for Hunter-I bought a Viking I don't want a hunter!

What did you buy a Viking for exactly? Oh let me guess, so that you can catch up to enemies better using firebird or isida. Oh wait, you can already do that with hunter because of acceleration.

 

What you said sounds pretty Damn selfish. I just want what's best for everyone. So rethink before you bring this irrelevant crap up again. ;)

 

 

And the reason I want Viking to swap at least the speed and weight with hunter is because the speed difference between the two hulls is barely noticeable while the weight difference is significantly noticeable. Well, I guess I shouldn't be too hard on you on this point because you're low ranked and you would understand anyway.

 

Hunter has many advantages over Viking while Viking only has one small advantage over hunter.

That stat switch between Hunter and Viking remains one of the most mysterious updates released by tanki, but I assume it was to increase the popularity of Hunter. If so, then I believe they've achieved quite the opposite.

Because most people think that only health and speed gets you to places when in reality all stats are important.

There is no broad topic called "Let's Discuss Hulls" in the Game Discussion's subforums. 

 

There are only individual discussions for each hull.
