My take on game balance:

 

Firebird and Freeze - Why is the damage on crit hits so exceedingly high? If they have supercharge + Defender/Booster they're straight up unstoppable, come on. 

Isida - it's fine where it is at the moment, except that vampire nanobots players are annoying to play against.

Hammer - Blunderbuss is working intended but still quite bad towards the game balance. Meanwhile with Slugger, why is the range so large? Also, where are the downsides? (Same with status effect augments for Hammer and in general)

Rico: It's working as intended, although Viking Rico players (or Hornet Plasma Torch players) are very annoying to play against, especially if they have OD ready/active.

Smoky: It's fine where it is, but Autocannon is way too annoying for my taste. Critical damage for autocannon should be nerfed IMO.

Thunder: It's fine where it is at the moment, no need for any changes at the moment IMO.

Rail: Why does this exist in its current form? It has exceedingly high crit damage and crit rate. I mean, doing 1600 dmg roughly 50% of the time is just mad (and I don't want to use Defender), even its reload doesn't make up for it. Nerfing the crit rate by 50% of its current crit rate (to 25%) would be a deserved nerf IMO.

Vulcan: It's not nearly as OP as it was before now, since Tesla exists and the fact that more people have Armadillo make it more OP IMO.

Tesla: This is the reason why I play Genshin Impact now instead of Tanki. Tesla has 900 damage a shot with 0.9 sec delay between shots, and that's only at Mk3. It also has a 25 metre range (also at Mk3), which may not seem like much, but it's still a lot considering Isida's range (and the fact that chain lightning exists which makes the range even larger). Nerf its damage and range and it'll be good IMO.

Gauss: It's good where it is right now, just that its status effect augments are terrifying, because you could AP/EMP lock people. Maybe nerf the duration of those status effects and it'll be fine.

Shaft: The reload buff was uncalled for, it literally makes heavy capacitors have a 4 second reload between shots, which is extremely overpowered. After the reload time buff gets reverted or nerfed harder, then it isn't fine IMO. 

Magnum: 2 shot enemies, the reload nerf was worth it IMO although it is still powerful.

B0-NK: We don't talk about that here.

Terminator: Same as above.

6 seconds is fine as a Shaft main. As it does render dynamic HC possible without completely depending on camping and being overpowered.

We actually already had Gauss in the game for over a decade lol.

 

A Gauss cannon (aka Coilgun) is literally 99% the same thing as a Railgun....it just uses Coils instead of Rails to power the projectile but both weapons are meant to utilize electromagnetism to fire an ultra-high-speed projectile that deals heavy kinetic damage on impact.

 

So in a way, Gauss is just a repeat of Railgun...but fused with Striker and Thunder mechanics.

For me the main issue of Shaft is the inconsistence of where the laser is pointing and when it hits you. I don't know is it because of the ping (mine is around 100, not even close to be bad), or is it buggy. A lot of time, the Shaft is pointing the opposite direction of where I am and all the sudden I got one shot?

I literally watched the laser "teleport" to me many many times. What's point of having a laser then?

Yeah. Not just when encountering shafts but also playing as a shaft encountering someone up close and trying to snipe them away and getting the kill. Some of them, I feel like I shouldn't have gotten that kill since the enemy out ran my crosshairs a split second before I released the space bar.

What irks me is that you're so adamant on reworking Shaft to have HC be the dynamic sniper, when the augment literally made for dynamic sniping is right there waiting for you to use it.

Magnum is nerfed totally.

+3 sec for reload and + 3 sec for amplification for only 1745 damage

+With viking overdrive it is real trash now, too slow

+Stopped using it because of this

+Don't even use protection against it anymore

Have you also encountered were the shafts laser doesn't go all the way across the map as well?  Its another annoying bug. I don't know if its a bug or not.

Which map(s)? I get beams on me in Temple and Highways. Then the next thing I know is I am respawning.

The laser doesn't meet all the way in larger maps like berlin. But I don't know if this bug happens on pc im usually on mobile.

The be honest I hate shaft 

When you use your dictator overdrive he just clicks double damage and kills you

Dear developers!

Firstly, please buff ricochet back to 400 damage per shot. Or make it even 500 if you may. Please stop nerfing it. It's becoming no fun as a result of you being hell bent on nerfing it. 

Secondly, what's the point of that gun if you are giving other guns same characteristics such as rubberised rounds ?

Finally, plasma torch alteration is so overrated. It has many disadvantages already when using it so either make reload faster or increase damage per shot or let it bounce atleast 9 to 10 times before diminishing.

The last time Stock Ricochet received a change was in 2018. How were they nerfing it? ?

I think tesla is very overpowered, so I came up with this. Tesla mk7 will deal the damage of the current mk5 tesla damage. Then mk8 will deal the current mk6 tesla damage. Mk4 is already great so the new damage should be pretty balanced. :smile:

Personally, I think Mk7 Tesla should deal the same damage as the Mk3 or Mk4 Tesla, but nontheless, I myself like the idea. Mk5 is kinda playing it safe for the turret.
