From what I've seen, he isn't "defending the developers". All he's doing is saying that hyperspace is super powerful now. Now whether his claim here is right or wrong I don't know. Nor if he's basing them on actual use or ecounters.

Please don't be making false accusations towards someone, it doesn't help anyone.

The developers never get to see the questions for them because [edited] keeps moving them.

Hey, Isn’t this a place where we talk about the game balance, is it?

You should make new topic to talk about developers and moderators.

I came here to see people’s recent opinion and share mine about game balance but no one is talking about it…

 

So I’d like to say 

Thunder and Railgun are still weak so we need more buff. ( I don’t mean augments but the turrets)

Freeze is too strong thanks to its buffed critical damage and disabling double damage.

So I suggest that Freezing status effect reduces 25% damage instead of 50 or decrease critical damage.

If you mind other freezing effect augments become too weak or freeze modules effect too much, make the regular damage less.

That's prohibited. Some players will use it only for the sole purpose of bashing the devs and mods, which will inevitably cause an endless flame war. Its better if such a topic does not exist.

Let’s discus game balance.

I think juggernaut’s overdrive shouldn’t have delay.

It can be easily destroyed by Viking’s overdrive.

When juggernaut notice it, it’s too late.

Juggernaut should be live longer especially in solo Juggernaut mode.

Most of them die before getting 10 kills.

Actually, it'll still be a problem. Not only will it negatively impact the community, it'll also create more unnecessary work for the mods.

It will never happen but I would have preferred if there was a topic in the off-topic discussion section where anyone can discuss anything, as long as they aren’t using profanities or something like that.

Truly a moderation team and not a team hired to keep the p2w going. Please read what you are saying before posting it. It does not reflect well when half the time you try to defend p2w systems, it actually comes off as such rather than as some misguided attempt to keep the forums helpful with their criticism.

Well yeah, but there will always be those players who are the grime of society who will disregard the wishes of the community just to make themselves feel good. It already happens alot without it.

I think allowing us to pm the admins about it is enough.

Not necessarily defending people insulting the devs, but defending people who call out what's wrong with their policies by pretending there's nothing wrong. Nothing is wrong with a 2.5x statistical advantage that's locked behind either RNG or an expensive bundle right?

The developers imo "cherry pick" players Q so as not to try and answer the ones that might put them in a bit of a bind.

Can you explain why you are not interested about balance, balance is the core problem of TO and the cause of most of the complaints against the developers.

Well because for one, while its the core problem and the cause of many complaints against the devs, its also the cause of many extremely heated arguments which can easily turn into a flame session.

Second, I don't even have a valid opinion on the current game play. So all I can do is make educated guesses, use the wiki, my experience from around 7-8 months ago, and the things that people say. And no, I'm not willing to play 94 million to 118 million hours in the game just to get the valid opinion.

Third and final, if the devs don't care, then why should I still care? That like the owner of a business no longer caring about it and the investors despite knowing that fact are still pouring money into the business. So why waste my time and effort nagging the devs to do this do that at this point when I can just wait and see what's gonna happen? And give new members a heads up about them here and there.

 

Also I do sometimes post game balance related posts, just depends in how interested I am in it.

the only handicape is reduced crystals from containers. and as long as there is no compensation to this nerf it'll take much longer time to max 1 combo at least!

each equipment takes millions of crystals to upgrade fully ?

Well it was a great game until the "Flying Monkeys" came out!  LOL!  ?

 

Game Balance Is Excellent! - A "Flying Monkey" scored all 7 goals in under 3 minutes on my team.  That gave me, as a "Non-Flying Tank", time to relax, do a little gardening, check out the scenery while my hero, The Flying Monkey did all the work!   ?

Oh yes, I love balanced gameplay. In all seriousness, I know this battle is a spectacular failure on the MM's part, but... even in fair battles, RFM is dominating. Lol - guess the answer to balancing Helios isn't to nerf it but buff everything else.

This is simply not true. MK8, which used to be M4 in the 'old days', ment something in battle until the drones and augments arrived at the game. Now, even when I play with a fully upgraded hull and turret to MK8, an almost upgraded booster drone (lvl 17) and some weird augments on my hull and turret, i am regularly killed in one or two shots, or can fire at will at some golden tank p(l)ayer and create a 95 point damage with each shot (instead of 1800 points i get on shooting at non paying players). Sometimes it is even impossible to kill a payer because of his/her drone, even if 3 players are shooting at the tank. Good luck with that... The advantages for payers are just way out of balance, spoiling the game to the bone....
