Am I using shaft incorrectly... Without supplies I do about 1300 damage which isn't enough to destroy anything. I bought it because I'm always running out of supplies but the theory isn't working out at all.

Am I using shaft incorrectly... Without supplies I do about 1300 damage : min is 1500 for m0, so... DA?  Modules?

always running out of supplies : How?  Do you play a LOT?  Once you've done missions, play Pro-Battles (no-supplies).  No one can turn on DA so you can once again one-shot medium hulls.

If you run out of supplies, try Isida. The charts are XP based and you can cheaply sit back and relax in the base while healing everyone. I use the nanobot alt; basically a prolonged double damage.. boring but saves me supplies.

Shaft is pretty power hungry, it eats up double damage because you want to kill people straight away. It's not that good DPS wise either. I can't keep up with the double damage demand when I use Shaft. If you're not on double damage then the experience is miserable in this game full of stupid short range turrets and protection modules.

Thanks. I haven't used isida in a long time but I will try a supporting role again and yes, once I run out of double damage my shaft and railgun are boarderline useless.

I think in MM everyone is on a supply almost all of the time so yes, lots of DA. I can't remember how many DD we receive a week for completing week 10, but towards the end of the week I have run out of them.

Buff Railgun

As most of you know, Smoky has 50% weak damage after the buff so it is now as OP as Thunder.

Railgun has a big problem now because both Thunder and Smoky can snipe it across the map with astonishing 50% weak damage. These turrets can be now used just as Rail but they are more versatile.

Ideas to buff Rail:

1. 10% damage buff
2. 20% min damage buff
3. Vertical auto-aim buff
4. 5% reload buff
5. Shorten shot delay to 0,75 s

I think that 2+3 would be enough. Share your opinions below xD

Try using it more quickly...half charge in scope mode (no laser to give you away). I can shoot 2-3 shots in fairly short time frame and often bring at least one kill to my team. Double damage is used best that way too. Otherwise you will maybe get off one full charge DD shot and then nothing else. I prefer 3 shots at less than full charge on DD. Just a suggestion.

Also do you use Heavy Capacitor alt?

I'll try it out. Things are looking up now as I have about 400 DD after the mission chains. No I don't have any alts for shaft, I couldn't afford them. Are they worth it?

While I do share your point, I fear that most of the buff's that you propose are a bit critical.

  1. Additional damage is hard, especially if you consider what it means after applying DP and/or an M2 alteration
  2. the min dmg buff will shift the average damage by +10%, so it's very simmilar to point 1.
  3. vertical auto aim won't help that much; especially not when competing with Smoky and Thunder on long range
  4. reload could work
  5. a shortening of the delay would trigger the whole XP/BP community

twins need buff

What i think can reduce the annoyance of this turret is that ,like other turret  should have a certain amount of plasma  and should not be infinite  and after use of all its plasma, self damage should be start.

What I think can reduce the annoyance of this tank is that, like other tanks like Rico and Volcano, it has a certain amount of beam, and the shot should not be infinite

I use the alt a lot. But I've also MU'd my shaft halfway to next level before I invested in the alt. If crystals are limited I'd save up for m3 (if you don't already have it). If you are m3, then what is your mu?

Did you not buy any turrets during the Tankers day sale? Preferably Magnum.
