The game is just chaos now. Strategy is COMPLETELY out of the window now that alterations and drones have come into play. Everything is fast and tanks don't last 2 seconds before they get destroyed.

They have been whittling away at any strategy aspect for years.

- shorter battles

- 8 vs 8 - even on smaller maps

- random maps

Shaft changes

 

After the balance shaft become quite useless. I dont say this like everyone agree but this only my opinion. So u decide.

Instead of making shaft arcade shot take all the power make it 50% or 70% this looks better and i think all will agree about this part.

Instead of nerffing the reload mechanic nerf other parameters (idk why they want to nerf it while almost all was waiting for the buff) like aim up/down or making the sh** lucky shots like railgun with its incredibliy low min dmg.

The laser need to be lower brighness this could be an advantge and quite not a buff.

And remove shaft hit to maganum turret i mean shaft can easily kill maganum.

This changes looks better than the dummy devs chit changes.

You are right. Since the arcade shot range was nerfed to 80m and weak damage to 25%, the arcade shots are totally useless. I even switched to Rico (M2 1/10) and after Rico range nerf I switched to Smoky (M1 6/10). Smoky has now 50% weak damage just like Thunder so it is much better at sniping than Shaft.

 

Currently, Thunder and Smoky are the best long range turrets despite they are officially 'medium range'. Rail and Shaft need to be buffed to stay competitive with these OP turrets. Best way to buff Shaft is to allow the players to snipe effectively with arcade shots like they did before the stupid Shaft nerf.

well tanki made it pay to win now.... the alterations have ruined the game.... I have M3 tank and M3 gun and I can not even kill a player with the upgrades... the vulcan hits you once and you burn up... the firebird without the double damage hits you with your double protection and you can not even heal, from the damage it does... the smokey gets the auto loader.... HMMMM PAY TO WIN.... is unfair to the players that can not get these... not with the mods going I can not even get the weekly containers due to not getting enough experience in a game.. I played 4 games and gained 550 xp... lol will take alot longer than a week to get the 10k xp for the weekly... so this game can shove it.. will go to a different game that will not screw the non playing players.... later tanki....

I'm tempted by these alterations:

 

Plastma accelerators, twins - 20,000 (used to be 50,000?)

 

High-precision aiming system, smoky - 50,000 (used to be 100,000)

 

Duplet, hammer - 100,000

 

I read that autocannon (smoky) and indeniary band (vulcan) have been nerfed already...

I read in the patch notes that round stabilization alt (formerly known as shell stabilization) for railgun was buffed. Now it costs only 35k and it also gets an ability to retain 100% damage through enemies.

Even with the new alteration, Vulcan is on the weak side of things. It seems OP when you are playing against it, but you self-destruct so quickly.

Instead of wasting your time playing a full game, tanki should just automatically give the win to the team with the most Vulcans, this is pretty much how most games end.

Yup - takes forever for the fire to happen, and by that time Vulcan is killing itself.

 

Oh - by the way - newest patch is nerfing the alteration.

 

Even with the new alteration, Vulcan is on the weak side of things. It seems OP when you are playing against it, but you self-destruct so quickly.

The alterations was nerfed with today's restart, see what you think of it now.

Lol, the fact that they’ released it being so strong (assuming after testing) is a joke, even a bigger joke is knowing that everyone would buy it then to nerf it

Noob buyers bought that stupid Vulcan alt and did not realise that Thunder and Smoky are much stronger than Vulcan...

 

By the way, Smoky with rapid fire alt is much better than any Vulcan.

Smoky and Shaft are obsolete, I'm buying Firebird and Ricochet next, they've been OP forever and I don't think that will ever change.

Do you have "high-precision aiming system" for smoky? It seems strong, but I don't equip smoky protection.

Nope I don't have it, big reload times don't suit my playstyle. I use my smoky module (only 38%) sometimes, it helps a lot but there isnt a lot of smoky users to protect against.

start use ur brain developers, why u nerf shaft? Only one of two skill weapons? (shaft and rail are only for skillers, other for noobs). But yes, twins and fire get buff, two stupdi weapons for noobs who only know holding the spacebar all the time which requires zero skill. And vulcan alt which makes burning, this is incredibkle stupid... U can close this game forever, it is absolute unplayable, if u dont spend 500 € to thsi game u shouldnt win... And everyday lags... RIP TANKI!!

Arcade shots literally have the DPS of Smoky and Thunder. You want to be able to snipe with THAT?!

Tanki played around with shaft too much imo. Return it to its former state so it's not awkward as hell using it but don't make it OP at the same time. Just make it so that you will not be a guaranteed kill if an enemy shaft has double power on. So nerf max damage.
