 because a lot of players die within 20 seconds of becoming Juggernaut, but some can stay alive for the whole game.

 

It depends of the map and where you spawn. If you spawn in the middle of the map, it's hard to survive, especially with all those freeze gathering around you like bees with honey...

 

But in a map like Brest, if the Juggernaut spawn in one of the two high level platforms, he can survive at least 4-5 minutes.

It's worth it to be honest.

Whenever I use it the enemy just heals / uses overdrive and then I self-destruct. I don't have fire protection though (although my titan is heavily upgraded).

Maybe the developers can alter the mode slightly, so that the Juggernaut will be invincible for 1 minute from the moment the player spawns as juggernaut, but after that minute the invincibility will be removed and a 15-25% (depending on the rank of the player) module will be added instead of the player's original modules to prevent the player being too overpowered. This way its more controlled and gives everyone a fair chance.

My idea is to get rid of all your protections when you become Juggernaut. It would make the juggernaut easier to kill, giving a fair chance for a less powerful player to become the juggernaut. I have seen players with 50% against striker, firebird, hammer, which basically render him/her invulnerable.

Hm.... I got an idea... if you are not using Striker and using M4 Orka... instant nerf to 25%. Even in M3.... same 25%.

 

This..... the only way for J-Boss to have full 50% Striker defence via M4, is using Striker yourself to execute him/her. Otherwise......

 

BTW, this should be a game rebalance idea.

 

WTH! It's impossible to play JGR battles without good modules nowadays. Even 50% isn't enough against M4 Strikers and Shafts with Booster drones. Although, the current balance situation in JGR is weird, because a lot of players die within 20 seconds of becoming Juggernaut, but some can stay alive for the whole game.

Then make Juggernaut invulnerable to burning/freezing effect. And gain addition 10k health to start with of course.

Or you could just give it an appropriate universal module. Some would say that doing so would make it impossible to kill him, like in Serpuhov or Brest, the Juggernaut player can survive whole game if he knows where to be. But that isn't the problem with the Juggernaut, it's the map that is causing the issue. In Brest, you can't kill him, but in Massacre, most Jugg's die within a minute. Same is the case with ASL (like Massacre, Bridges and Solikamsk etc.) but that's another story for another day.

The game mode needs a smarter change to improve balance, such as a one-time shield with 10k extra HP that you get once you spawn as Juggernaut, which would help you survive and get your bearings.

Juggernaut needs a stronger turret, for example triple incendiary Smoky. Why? Attack is the best defence!

Urgent defect in balance, MINES!

 

Blue Assault mode is now a walk in the park, if a few team members have the Saboteur drone. I can make it through multiple defenders but never have enough health remaining to make it through the multiple mines.

 

Yes, we can equip mine protection, for hundreds of thousands of crystals, and then we don't have protection against the big guns.

 

Assault needs to be removed from the missions, or mines need nerfed. Perhaps the mine-free zone around the blue assault point needs to be made several times larger.

 

Mines everywhere now, either from saboteur drones or from Magnums. Fantastically, despite most higher-ranked players having several thousands of mines, drones and Magnum and overdrive don't use them up.

 

Mines, mines, everywhere there's mines

Do this!

Don't do that!

Did you eat a mine?

You were thinking what I was thinking! Alternativa should make Juggernaut invulnerable to burning and freezing effect.

 

To compensate that, Freeze and Firebird will deal 50% more damage only to the Juggernaut. Nothing more.

 

"Cyclone" alt is not a biggest problem as Juggernaut have a HUGE speed to outrun. Welp, I use Striker M1 with THAT alternation.

 

Striker M4 with Cyclone alternation takes 3.92 seconds to fully lock on a target. By the time he/she about to rain the salvo, Juggernaut duck for his/her safety.

 

For increasing reload time, make Terminator's reload to 2 seconds.

This anyone?

lol I'm not equipping my fire M0 module. I stopped using vulcan anyway. I just couldn't play well with it.

How can you play battles vs m3+ without a decent fire module?  Afterburn is everywhere.

I'm not sure. I use railgun most of the time so I can reverse and still fire without taking damage. Otherwise I stay back. I rarely use the short range weapons like firebird, freeze and isida.

I actually used to use firebird a lot but everyone has protection so I gave up on it.

Keep using it.  The protection is barely noticeable.   And it's not like Rail protection is rare...

Ricochet already is OP than ever before. If anything it needs an urgent nerf. Why else is every other Legend using Ricochet? Only those at the receiving end of M3+ Ricochet will know, it has ridiculous range, damage and impact. If you are getting poor score with it, then the problem may lie somewhere else.

Urgent nerf?   :lol:  That's pretty funny.  Already had a big nerf recently.

 

It does not need to be able to destroy enemies at every range. It needs some kind of limitation.

Well, if you can't dodge Ricco balls at "long" range you're in a static pillbox.  Even with MFS you can still see them coming.

 

And with the recent range nerf, there is now no "long" range.  So the alteration is not nearly as useful as say... any of the Incendiary alts.  Hey - when they gonna add that to Ricco?
