Is it still godlike as you say now that Tesla is here and Firebird and Freeze have triple damage critical hits? Do keep in mind that critical hits are disabled with Vampire Nanobots.

At close range Tesla and Isida Vampire is close.  All things being equal (same drones and equally protected and 50% critical protection), it is really a question of whether the Isida runs out of power or not.  Tesla enjoys prolonging the conflict.  I think if neither protects against the other then the Isida wins and if they are both protected against the other then Tesla wins.  If there is no critical protection then Tesla has an advantage.  If both using Defender then I think Tesla has an advantage.  Including potential damage from the Tesla energy nugget likely also needs to be taken into account.  Some interesting scenarios to test out.

@TheCongoSpider stop using stun rail and dictator.  It is irritating. :)

Honestly, I think nerfing the self heal down to 35% but buffing the healing to teammates to 30 health points per tick should be the starting point. Even 25% seems too much of a nerf from 50%.

Yeah, a good nerf along with a buff is a good balance to always do.

Other Weapons, ... only get nerfed. I wish they can get some small improvements along with the negative changes.

But I think Developers will do this when they get the statistics.

Well I also have this augment it doesn't land crits, decent without a drone but not OP, the ones that really cause an issue are the ones using defender or crisis with it. I would use lifeguard as a stalling tactic with it. But everyone has their own playing style. As for the second statement, the balance against an isida user would be long ranged turrets since isida doesnt have reach compared to other range classes.

You claim that Vampire Nanobots is broken to this day, the same you did when it was released. It's important to have experience fighting against it (and ideally, experience using the augment yourself but it is exclusive for gambling so not reliable). As far as I'm aware, you haven't been playing the game for a while. Why not come back and fight those Vampire Isidas to see if anything has changed, or deduce why exactly they are OP? Especially with all the balance changes happening that you've missed. 

 

As soon as you take away a meta drone from a Vampire Isida, they become much more manageable. It's really only the ones using heightened defenses/effective HP (Defender, Crisis, Lifeguard) that are the problem.

EVERY player uses a drone now - or they might as well not play.

Defender & Crisis are two of the most popular drones.  So... how you figure someone that can get the exclusive augment won't have access to those two drones?

Why are they OP? because in attacking, they get 50% of 1000 dmg/sec back as health.

In attacking the only thing vampire loses is the critical (provides no damage boost) - which only comes into play when facing Isida protection.

I'm not playing until they remove much of the crap they added.  So... likely I'm I'm done.  But you make it sound like I've been absent for 6 months.  Not even close to the case.

Removing the permanent exp boost, status effect turret augments, inability to MU equipment, four modes from MM, gauss and hopper would be a great start.

The developers have said about old Isida that health recovering while attacking was OP, and they returned it now with much more OP Augment.. Isida now have more damage than it was, and higher recovery than what developers said OP to old Isida.

That was back then before Drones and ODs were introduced so of course its gonna be OP back then. Now since we have drones, ODs, Status effects, and more its not OP in this time frame. Now you have way more recourses to counter isida players even with the vampire nanobots augment.

Yeah, that's true.

But other times, players feel a Turret and Augment is pretty balanced already. When this gets changed, they want a buff along with the nerf, so they still feel pretty satisfied about the equal changes.

So a viking with active overdrive kills you a few times and it's the no.1 priority to nerf.

I have never understood players that complain about viking, it's not OP and I can think of about 10 other things that trump vikings overdrive by a mile.

Get a grip, you see a viking with a overdrive ready then choose the sensible option, rather than the option you seem to favour.

Viking OD occurs twice in a full battle. Every other hull gets to use their OD at least 4+ times in battle. So what is so OP about the Viking OD? You just have to play STG/RFG with the Nuke box when you see opponent Vikings in battle.

You know why they complain about it? Its because they don't know how to counter it themselves, or I guess they try to falsify the claims by going up against it head on.

I find all the following more annoying than Viking by a mile and then some:

•wasp bomb.

•hopper OD.

•titan OD.

•gauss.

•status effect turret augments.

•scout rail gun.

•auto cannon smoky.

•rapid fire mode shaft.

•plasma torch Rico.

•defender drone.

• post buff shafts in low ranks.

@PirateSpider It's like you said, they can't negate it's overdrive. Lacking in the necessary skill to do so I assume.

Their problem and nothing to do with vikings overdrive.

Yeah, you don't don't even need OD to counter Viking OD either. Since Viking is wide and long, you can just hit its corners and it'll throw off the Vikings aim temporarily, which makes it lose precious moments of firing at its exact target. Only way a Viking can counter this is by having heavyweight augment equipped.

You can also hide from the Viking.

They say that Viking can counter every single OD. Well that may be true, but it can also be countered by every single OD.

 

I am more annoyed by wasp and hopper OD. They can easily use their shear speed to catch up to you and then activate OD and with wasp you're dead 90% of the time. Hopper only kills you if you don't have a repair kit handy. And there's literally only 2 maybe 3 things that can counter them.
