Let's Discuss Game Balance

it is very true that firebird  is very overpowerin

so some people say its op....while other people complain it sucks.....where's the logic??

I personelly think its pretty balenced a few ranks after next upgrades comes out, and several ranks before next upgrade. M1 is good at WO1,2,3 but starts to become bad without mu after that(when people start getting m2)

How can someone predict with almost certainty that there are two Vulcans on an enemy team when a battle has just started?

(only talking about high rank/Gizmo 's battles with M3/M4 equipment)

Easy. Completely unbalanced number of players and you know what 's going on.

Vulcan is ******ed and needs to just be eliminated. give people their money back.  I defy ANYONE, any clan, any takeover team, to win a game where there are 2-m3 Vulcans with 2 isidas attached to each. It CANNOT be done. Now maybe they are too stupid to take your flag but you wont be taking theirs.

:3 And I challenge YOU, good sir, to win a game without a Vulcan or Isida.

The situation you describe with attached Isida 's is not uncommon unfortunately:

It still puzzles me who 's the biggest nub in this situation, the Vulcan or the Isida... <_<

Tanki really have to find a way to nerf Vulcan at M3/M4 level. It 's killing gameplay and battles.

TO found a solution to Shaft, which nowadays needs a skillful player to be successful.

It used to be a nub weapon before the laserscope and way to powerful back than.

The ones I meet now deserve respect because these guys know how to fight! B)

Vulcan is now like the old Shaft before the laserscope, and is even more terrorizing than Shaft ever was.

You also don 't need to be a genius to handle it...far from it.

I hope TO finds a similar solution like Shaft 's laserscope and by doing so make it harder to play with Vulcan.

As you wrote it 's virtually impossible to fight them now if there are two of them, even one Vulcan constantly

firing with an Isida back-up gives any team already way too much advantage in my opinion.

Tankers run away from Vulcan M3/M4 infested battles and that 's not my imagination, I see it happen way

too often, and it shouldn 't be like that if things were properly balanced.

Good & clever high ranked shaft players are truly  masters of their job..

I think a vulcan is fine, if it playes without backup isida. So the burning damage is ok.

Isida is fine, if it playes without vulcan, and without drugs. So the healing in hp/sec is ok

=> we could ask to slow down the "reduce temperature" capability of the Isida.

The vulcans will overheat as fast as usual if alone.. but will not last as long as now, if cooled by an Isida.

Isida will also not be able to save as much tanks as today from firebird.. which may come in handy as well.

I think the burning damage of a heavy hull Vulcan M3/M4 with a paint like Zeus

is ridicuously low, but besides that I kinda like your idea.

The burning damage is 30 hp/second at maximum temperature (for all tanks, from Wasp to Mammuth).

And yes, you are right.. cut down to 50% by Zeus is deals only 15HP per second. Sounds not much.

On the other hand:

During the 6seconds cycle time of a railgun M3/M4, the 50% of burning damage deal 90hp of damage.. which is roughly 55% or a rails damage.. or 20% of a Mammuth M4 hp.

So if two rails fight one Vulcan+Isida, the burning damage is as good as 55% of an additional railgun.

If Isida would not be able to heal burning and freeze any more, then

- Vulcans would die a little faster

- Groups if Isidas would be in trouble if facing a firebird (which is now no issue for them at all)

But still.. I think this would not be enough -.-

I think nerfing the damage on high upgraded isida and makeing the burning of Vulcan unchanged by paints like Zeus or Marine(lower ranks)

Edit: also make it so Vulcan has more burning the moe its upgraded. M2 Vulcan that is fully mu-ed is actually better than m3 Vulcan with no mu because m2 has less burning. The burning increases only with the M upgradeing, not any mu upgrades, so if that was changed then it may become slightly mkre balenced(so m4 Vulcans would be harder for an isjda to heal than a m3, thererore m4 may not be able to dominate as much)

So I should have purchased an M1 Vulcan, upgrade it all way to M2, and enjoy 10+0,5 seconds of fire, before I am fully heated up?

Wow... this combined with a good paint and a doubleArmor makes a tank a almost continous damage dealer...

I personally would have moch less issues with a Vulcan if the impact force would be lower.

At very, very long distance I still can not hit them well, as they push even my Hunter M3 (other account...) around like a tennis ball

I honestly don't care about the impact force, I just like that it deals constant damage over a  long range.

Also it slightly pushes me backwards even with Mammoth, so I kind of agree. :P

balance is very bad. opex-rax is biggest noob i ever seen. vulcan and isida let you win without any effort.

p.s. and ofc shaft for stupid noobs. So stupid that shaft-player can't tie shoelaces yourself (because shaft is gun for children 1-2 years old ) but can kill you on the other side of the map.

Welcome to the forum!

Bring your greatest arguments.

Firstly; We Vulcans are something you need to adapt to, not just cry about.

Second; I'll direct you to FOW's counter arguments, to your statement there.

First; Vulcan for stupid noobs too. Playing with vulcan you can push space-bar until the end of battle and win this battle. Vulcant is the elementary gun for children and stupid noobs(like Shaft).

Second; Buy railgun, man. It is the gun for real man, who have a big corn. Vulcan is gun for girls and chikens. Good luck.

loooooooooooooooooooool

most immature posts I've seen all day...

I only have time for a short rant today, enjoy! I hate people with that kind of attitude.

All of the turrets have different unique aspect, all of them are hard to master, and all turrets can be lethal in the right hands, I admire shaft users because it is so much harder to have to aim vertically as supposed to just horizontally, but I also think vulcan, and even twins, are difficult to use, because I mostly play with railgun, but that's just me, some people can easily master twins and vulcan, but find railgun harder to use, it depends on your style, and no one style in any better than the other, it's just different.

Oh he has been ranting about "noobs" and "noob turrets" for the past year now on the Russian forum. I guess now he got kicked out of there and moved here instead :D

Get used to it.

sorry, but you noob. Aim with shaft for noobs and kids, its most elementary gun in game.
