Your experience with Windows 10

Tell us here whether you like Windows 10 or hate, and the reasons.

 

I personally hate it, because booting is slow, My PC is slow, Tanki lags all the time, my Graphics are weird, and my Graphics driver won't update because it is not compatible with Windows 10.

Lol its cooler but i must say at first i was really confused but it didn't affect my booting , lags etc everthing is basically normal

It's awesome. Tanki runs normally. Though a bit lag thanks to internet, but that's fine. Till now, Windows 10 has been running fine.

im not getting it.... 

 

1. Stalks your internet browsing history and sends it too advertisement companies. Also, If your not the administrator, it sends your history and key strokes to the admin.

 

2. converts firefox to the undead version of internet explorer... "Microsoft Edge"

 

3. Hogs Resource systems...

Awesomly bad...the windows explorer crashes qll the time but the lags on tanki are very rare now

Mouse glitches, computer lags like crazy, Cortana randomly sings to you and then stays silent to stalk you...

 

Too much of a pain to deal with, if you want something user friendly and fast get Windows 7 for a non-touchscreen, but for a touch screen, I'd get Windows 8.1

 

Windows 10 is worse than Vista, let's all admit it.

I am loving Windows 10..

1) For me, it boots in less than 7-8 seconds and shuts down in less than 2 seconds.

2) The Edge is quite useful when you use it for reading, etc.

3) Graphics didn't change much for me.

4) Its less laggy and a but faster rather..

5) The 'Notifications corner' helps me maintain my PC well..

...And much more..^_^...

I presume people such as myself have stayed up all night to download windows 10 due to the hype based around out, but my issue is that where I am in (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) it is 32 minutes past midnight, meaning it is the 29th of July, but for some reason my PC isn't getting any notification of being able to actually install windows 10 and to let you know I was not apart of the preview program, I have the 'get windows 10' icon, I am currently running windows 8.1, my PC meets all the requirements and I am running a genuine windows OS.

After you restart your pc click your Windows icon on the lower left of the desktop and type "Update" into the search box and press return. If the Windows 10 upgrade is ready your Update window should say "Restart Now". Click on Restart Now and Your PC should restart and begin installation. I tried 15 times with the Windows 10 logo on the lower right of the desktop and it wouldn't do anything. After going to the update window everything worked just fine.

Updates are being released all the time so the longer you wait, the more stable W10 will be. I've managed to stick with W7 for a month, but I'm tempted to go for the update soon.

Windows 10 is probably the best windows I've seen yet, IMO :D (I know, I know, I was the one saying that it's the worst one some time ago... but yeah :p ). Previously, I wasn't getting any graphics options in Tanki's settings, and my FPS was not constant 60. Now, I get all graphic options on settings and even when I switch on some, I don't lag much, my FPS is about 30-45! But I usually play without graphics.

As for the booting up, it's even more faster for me than Windows 7 - extremely fast boot up.

Also, last time I used to get some graphics driver errors on Windows 7 and they were quite annoying... but now - nothing. Everything works smoothly.

I was in ets2mp in a convoy and i wanted to send the mesage to leader→ [sFH]McGamer , SlowWdown to 25mph as people are still catching up. So i thought lets try Cortana for this, I asked Cortana exactly this

 

Cortana, Send message to Id 6873 [sFH]McGamer to slow down.

What cortana did was

Rather than doing a pm in game it wrote this in chat: Send mesage to Id6873 SFHMcGamer to slow down.

Im like WTH cortana <_< , Everybody laughed so hard on ts for this xD

Oh, that shouldn't be a problem then. Is it really worth it? If so, did you upgrade or did you do a clean install? Your response will help me decide whether I should upgrade or not. I know everyone has a different opinion. I'm just excited for this but still hesitating.
