An enemy list as well as a friends list

TOTALLY agree with this idea.  It would help me so much when they'res one guy on the other team that is always killing me because the map is suited to his combination, or spawn-killing me because my team is all noobs, and I want to (later) follow him to another battle and utterly destroy him when the teams are actually balanced.  However, if he doesn't accept my friend request, I will forget his username. And plus I don't want him as a friend anyway.

I've had this idea myself lots of times, it's not sabotaging anyone if you're on opposite teams.  I feel it is really important and necessary for Tanki to make this idea a reality so we can keep track of who we need to beat.  I have so many people (mainly druggers) that I always join the other team if I see them playing in a battle so I can kill them again and again.  But it is hard to remember, and I would like to have them all in one place.

Great Idea!

How about as well as the friends list, an unfriends list, so you can track the people you want to stay away from, the drug addicts, the people with stupid weapon combos... any other reason you'd like to personally be able to black list them.

Track them might not be the right term, but so you don't end up in games with people you really don't want to play with, and automagically ignore them in chat too.

Lots of love,

Aunty

This tiny but usefull feature applies to the players names in lobby, lobby based battle overview (central window) and lobby based battle details (right window).

In the same way that your friends are highlighted, so ignored players names shall be printed darker.

Leading chat moderators tell us more and more often, that we shall add players to the ignore list, if they keep offending us. This is a very pragmatic aproach. So if you add the "darklight ignored players" feature, we can ignore mults too, and recognise them before we enter a battle with them.

This is your chance to show, that mult prevention is not a payed bonus feature :p

Concerning the upcoming matchmaking system, this list would be useful.

But not from the start.. maybe after half a year.

The reason is that the system needs a great variety of palyers to pick from and match them; instead of limiting itself and splitting the players into too many branches..

pointless thing, ayy mate did you watch Killer App before suggesting this? the game is going to die anyways so no need to revenge back maybe you can revenge back in other games.

I've run into many Saboteurs, seen a lot of mults, etc. Never even considered an enemy list.

If you want the list so you know to avoid that battle, what may happen is you'll be missing out on a lot of battles as your list gets longer. Not all saboteurs make a career of it.

Consider this: Maybe a player needs one more flag to complete a mission and has been trying (really trying) for several battles to get that one last flag. In a desperate attempt to get it, the player tries some sabotage out of frustration. If I don't need any flags for a mission, many times I've dropped the flag in front of someone at the base, especially if the other team has been very aggressive, scores are close and a player has been kind of guarding the base. To me, it's like saying, "Thank you."

Same goes for CP missions. I've been blocked from making CP points, I let the player have the points and go on to the next point.

Besides, haven't we all done some sabotage at one time or another even though it wasn't meant to be purposefully? You may not see it that way, after all, it was an accident. But the other player may see it as sabotage.

So because of these possibilities, you want to put that player on your enemy list? If I put every attempted sabotage on an enemy list, it would probably be as long as my lobby chat ignore list. (It's pretty long, because I don't like flooders/spammers when the Mod's aren't on, nor do I care to associate with account buyers and traders).

We can add friends, but what about a Foes list so we can add people we don't want to play against .... or with?

I disagree with the idea, it would create animosity among players and others would use it as a way to filter out poor performing players, thus creating more imbalance.

Just think as if everyone except your friends are your virtual enemies.

we have a friends list...lets get an enemies list made...that way if we don't like someone we can always know where they are similar to the friends list...person should be able to hand type the name into an enemy list...there would be no need to send any sort of correspondence. friends show up on the main battle lists as green...enemies could be in red

Great idea! Maybe matchmaking could make them less likely to be on your team if they are placed in the same battle as you? And since friend's nicknames turn green, theirs should turn red.

Edit: No, as this would make multing possible in matchmaking; you add all of your mults to your enemy list, and place them in a battle group.

an enemy list should be in red the same way our current friends list are green.

in battles list, we should be able to see our enemies in battles highlighted in red, and our friends highlighted in green.

overall, this is a great idea.
