Right now, I'm wondering when Semyon is gonna jump out of nowhere, announce "We have XT-fied everything", then run off into the sunset. I can't wait to see elephants sniping in TO.

P.S. : Devs, if you're reading this, add XT items into Unity. And make them remodels, NOT retextures.

According to the rumour, the whole idea of adding XT items to the game as they are now is to see how much crystals people are willing to spend to get them (i.e. changing missions). Depending on the results the prices for XT items will be set and XT will be available for purchase in this Tanki and/or on Unity.

Important info on how to get XT by Serene, translated from russian forum, source here: http://ru.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=724786

Disclaimer: Obtaining an XT mission is hard and painfull, and dont think this guide will make it easy, because it will only maximize your chanches of getting XT.

After a short analysis of the XT Missions issues and many topics regarding tankers being unable to get them while committing oblivious errors, i decided to write this text, so there you go.

0. Make sure that you are Generalissimo, because only Generalissimos can get super-missions.

1. You cant have two similar tasks at the same time. This means that if you have a "Destroy XX tanks" task, then you cant get another "Destroy 9999 tanks". Same with "Earn XXX experience" (except "Score XXX experience on XXX map / mode"). Pay attention!

2. XT missions requie you to kill 9999 tanks or earn 99999 experience points. this means that to maximize your chanches of getting an XT mission, you should keep 2 missions not regarding experience or kills like "collect boxes"; "finish first" or "collect experience on XXX map" and one slot dedicated to switching mission.

An alternative is completing the inappropiate missions like "kill 100 tanks" or "Earn 1000 XP" before starting to search for XT.

(wrong: this reduces your chanches)

3. If you have already an XT mission, DONT search for a second one unless you want an Halved chanche of getting it: you can only get the "other" supermission thus slashing in half the already low chanche of getting one.

4. The chanches of getting an XT missions are lower than 1%, so better get lady luck on your side before starting to change mission.

5. Do not scream at the monitor. It does not help

This means that to maximize your chances of getting an XT mission, you should keep 2 missions not related to experience or kills like "Collect boxes"; "Finish first" or "Collect experience on XXX map" and one slot dedicated to switching mission.

An alternative is completing the unsuitable missions like "Kill 50 tanks" or "Earn 1000 XP" before starting to search for XT.

3. If you have already an XT mission, DON'T search for a second one unless you want an halved chance of getting it: you can only get the "other" super missions thus slashing in half the already low chance of getting one.

Just spent 1 000 000 crystals on changing missions on the test server.

Results:

1150 missions

23 super missions

2 XT rewards (both Hornet)

456 crystal missions

694 supplies missions

Analysis: according to these particular results, the chance of getting crystals is around 40%, while getting supplies is 60%. I'm not sure how close it is to the true value, but for a set of data with just two possible results 1000+ samples should be more than enough.

The chance of getting super missions (not XT but 9999(9) in general) is 2%, but there is not enough data to call that value accurate. This was achieved using the strategy in the post above - changing only one slot, while the other two are occupied with non-XT-type missions.

You counted each one? :o

You counted each one? :o

It was fairly straightforward. Started from zero and in my head added +1 for every supply mission and -1 for every crystal mission. Got 237 in the end and did the maths. Only took about 20 minutes.

Following the advices shown above, I tried the following setup: e848921f.jpg

Two slots taken with minor missions not related to Killing enemies or getting XP in battles and one slot free.

I have spent ONLY 83'700 crystals that are equal to 100 missions change and obtained 8 supermissions!

For now, I stopped changing due to the need of crystals (Yeah, I am really short on them, believe it or not :P) for my last MUs missing, but I'm really more relaxed over XTs, I see the light at the end of the tunnel :D

Chances of getting Drug or Crystal missions are 50:50.

Chances of getting Drug or Crystal missions are 50:50.

That's the official information. As you can see - I actually did a test to check that and got different results (40-60).

Thanks for the translation! Added to first post, with a few changes:

Thank you for improving my potato english and including this important piece of info in the main page, but please correct a point i got extremely wrong:

"An alternative is completing the unsuitable missions like "Kill 50 tanks" or "Earn 1000 XP" before starting to search for XT."

Doing this actually reduces the chanche of getting XT by around 1/3 cause you might end up getting 2 of 6 types you would have excluded by having them in other slots. Sorry for but it was late last night and errors like those can go ahead unnoticed.

That are the odds. There is no way you will get same number if you get hundreds of them. Try to throw a dice 18 times. You have same odds to get some number but you will not get each number three times.

I am aware of that, but as Serene confirmed herself - when you only have two options and take over 1000 samples, the value you get should be pretty close to the actual probability. 40-60 is not at all 50-50.

I.e. Using this strategy does very little to the probability.
