Exciting news! Newspaper applications are open again! To apply, please send examples of your writing and articles via PM to @ReporterApplications.

 

The way the process works is as follows: The inbox will be checked every few days and your application read, and if it is of a good standard, passed on for all the reporters to read. If collectively we deem you good enough to become a reporter, you will get a reply to your PM detailing the next stage. So if after a week or so after your application was read, you have received no reply, unfortunately you've not reached the standard we require. I suggest going away, honing your skills and re-applying in 4-6 months.

 

Any applications sent to my account will be ignored.

Why would I do that? I see no point to it. Like all staff groups, we communicate on Skype.

I have nothing wrong with skype, In fact, it can be great. I was thinking this as it might be more accessible to more people. It might even allow more talented writers who are not allowed to have skype in, as google groups is just more accessible. As I said before, just an idea.

I am saying that some parents might be over cautious (catering towards the younger players who are younger). This is all I am saying. It might be a little more accessible.
