No words because this stupid update is trying to keep tanki alive while untiy is running this is total BS you want people to spend there money like I did and you took 4 of my m3's for crap Guys I am telling you don't buy it XT is the exact thing as m3 so no point!!!!

I remember some administrators supporting the notion that the reason why we do not have any serious Esports at the moment is because the developers are too busy developing the new game.

 

Oh yes sure! But they always have the time to figure out new ways of extracting money from the community.

In games, you will notice that at the end where the crystal amount that you have one will be a yellow number. This number is the 50% increased crystal score.

but now the two games I did so I noticed that half received the most, but the other five games before did not get more. something was wrong.

its a nice change but it would be more nice if they reduce the total crystals of the items but thanks for doing a change in the XT items but if there's a reducement in the amount of crystals of XTs it will be amazing

A business like Tanki has two kinds of incomes: Long-term income and Short-term income.

 

Long-term income (Income that steadily grows and keeps the game alive) is created by keeping the customer base happy and making the game attractive and a worthy investment for new players. Launching the Unity version and making it possible for current players to transfer their garage would be an example of that. 99% of players would transfer, new players would come, and new/current players would be more likely to spend money on the game, as it seems that it's still a worthy investment.

 

Updates like this premium account thing create "Short-term income" (Income that swells at first, but quickly dies). Such updates might cause a momentary burst in profits, as many scramble to buy the new feature, but the profit will quickly fade as the 5% of the game that can afford to buy this will mercilessly over-power the rest that can't. So what happens? The 95% that can't buy it leave. No big deal right? They weren't making you money anyway. WRONG! Without that 95% of the players-base, the remaining "buyers" will no longer see a point in playing the game, as there will be no opponents to fight against. New players will not stay, old players will stop spending money, and the game will eventually die.

What I would like to see from Tanki are more updates that increase the game's overall potential and attractiveness, instead of creating momentary profits for the company.

People thinking if they don't pay for the premium, then they lose their account and have to start a brand new account.. 

 

I told some its just a trial period, but they are still panicking.. tanki needs to send everyone a notice about this, lots of people talking about quitting tanki for good, because they think they have to start all over again.. :rolleyes:

Why would anyone buy XT? You get no benefit from it. Worse still you would need to spend another million crystals to fully MU it at Gissimo.... something most will have already done to their non XT kit.

Will be better once the 24 hour period is over and the vast majority lose the paint. While lower levels are benefitting from it it's pretty pointless at Gissimo as most people are fully MU'ed on damage.

 

Equipment aside it feels like TO are just trying to clone World of Tanks in offering premium accounts etc

Apparently the paint is now at 15% which i hope is due the negative feedback the community gave... And as Lankbouv mentioned it really isn't the big deal it was b4... Time to keep my mouth shut about the low ranks xD they are not going to be saved are they

 

Is flash even a beneficial business anymore...? by the changes made looks like it's not. I think the XT is the most brilliant solution tanki has came up so far if they want to keep FlashTO alive. It doesnt affect balance and makes tanki fatstacks yo. The premium is close to being as good of a succes but it was kinda fuvked up by the fact it had the 20% paint and it wasn't announced that the XTs cost 500k... Aaaand by the fact is after all premium account.I mean just read it "premium account" its destined to be hated by atleast that one guy who allways loses his poly cp's with shaft/hornet, becouse he forgot how tanki works.(possibly me :P) 

it really got some haters it hadn't if it was announced as it is now, Now there is people going around telling horrorstories about it and spreading hatered towards everything about... becouse they feel the game is not fair. Possibly beccouse they joined that poly cp.... you get the picture.

Yeah its all about the transition to Unity it needs to look more attractive than tanki. And it*s doing a really great job at that imo. Unlike flash Unity has the possibility to get new audiance and make a sht tons of more money. It wants some of the flash community to start it out. In the best case scenario all of the Flash community goes unity and is happy about it... Maximum enjoyment and money aquaired. After all unity will most likely be a much better business. So i guess it's for us to prove is Flash a business worth keeping up.

It's no secret that i'm not a freaking Nostradamus and this is just my vision of how it's playing out so plz by allmeans share your vision too.

 

Personally im kinda hoping flashTO dies... After all unity is supposed to be better in pretty much everyway... well i love my dear bridgalier account but tbh i'm more than excited to create new one on unity and throw this away if i cant escort it to Unity. But if tankers want to keep Flash up well you can put in effort... why not.

Becouse people need to make up their freaking minds... everywere you look confusion, hate, frustration...

For most people it's not the lack of transparency that makes them react infact most of them havent even got the slightest idea topics like "myths and rumors" exist. They aren't intrested in how tanki works, in what basis updates are made or how they can react effectively to them. (Ik i've been there)

They forget tanki needs players to enjoy their business people will leave if they hate it. To people saying stuff like: devs are trying to make the game as unenjoyable as possible... it can happen but only to get people to play ze Unity which is supposably better. And if this is happening is really really stupid to start stressing over the updates if you are still going to leave for unity. If you are not going unity and you think you are being pushed there hating is still a shizzy way to go. At that point you make your mind you either leave the game or stay and enjoy. I mean it doesn't take Sokrates to know what will happen if you keep doing something you hate.

 

Not to disregard the actual lack of transparency here... it does exist. We do not actually know how the business is going so it's everything but clear how devs will treat Flash. And majority of tankers take what they are given on vlogs until they realise that... Oh wait they are telling only the things they want us to hear.(surprise motherfluffer :o)

The way tanki treats you as a customer might be immoral to you or something. When this happens you try to look at the developers pov as hard as it is not knowing donkey about their financial cituation. Then you can be like: "yeah i'm fine with that" or like "no that's not what should be happning" or even like: " i have no idea why they are doing this stuff" if you aren't sure just remember anything coud happen... Do not cry if Flash will not remain. You took the risk. You plaid with that ouija board and now demons creep in to your room at night... one person to blame.

 

anyway this isnt about all that. The topic is made to make you enjoy tanki as much as you can.

Here is how i think you should go about it.

1. Get the reasons out why am i playing this?

2. Draw your lines: this is what i will do for the game

3. Dont cross them for example if you are not about buying... dont do it on that day you lost a drug war.

Stupid decisions are easiest way to regret ever getting in on the game.

4. Dont make stupid conclusions: "oh game is unbalnced i lost an 1v1 xp xD" sounds dumb but frustration in game very often transforms in to stupid arguments against the game that cause the before said lack of transparency.

5. Know what you are doing: dont do stuff if you have no clear reason why you are doing it this leads to banns, other people making misconceptions about you. For example: "Its frustratingly long 999flag dusseldorf game why am i here 0.o. allready have 4k score welp cant leave now i can totally cap 200 more before server update in 1 hour.

and then the server update comes and you have gotten 10k score all for nothing."

Of coure it's possible that you entered the game thinking it will be dandelions and rainbows and then ya got the high ranks... or that you thought it wont push out 40% sales on tankersday. These are not stupid conclusions afterall life is like that there is never a clear sight that allows you to make fully conscious conclusions... and thats ok the point im making is to learn from these mistakes and not to stress over them. 0_0 god i got really philosophical suddenly. :P 

 

You can see TO wants discussion by the downvote thing dissapearing. Devs will find out if the update is liked or not by looking at the player per day numbers... the counts that actually effects their business. So make your fuvk TO opinion there. Rant over: Enjoy your life in whatever way you find the best. plz do not get frustrated/stress/cry you know the deal ;)
