because i am not a premium  and some times it says postion 10 from 3 you got 200 crystals but thats a lie also

before the premium account has been released , upon entering tanki site for the first time it will tell you that the game is FREE MMO and you can access all the weapons and hulls without paying real money , now they deleted it

Can someone please explain to me the reason behind the ability to hide your premium account icon?

 

Is it for the purpose of preventing Premium Account users from getting taunted by other players? Just like druggers?

 

If that's true, I'm gonna be so disappointed.

Allow me to teach you  something, premium players need us non-buyers for prey.

We avoid them at all costs, so the developers drunkenly farted out the option to mask the feature.

For those who say that premium stuff is killing the game...

You obviously never heard about chineses games, where pay to win means spend $10k to get to top rankings.

From my point of view, Tanki is a very good game with a attentive staff. 

Some of you must understand that they need financial income to keep the game alive, aside of satisfying players' tantrums.

Thank you for sharing this!  Granted, I had to stop @ every 90 seconds or so and Google some ultra-nerd acronym or phrase.  If you wanna see a great example of "gold farming" and "whales," check out a tank mobile game called "Iron Force."  It was originally developed by Chillingo, and bought out be EA soon after.  That game has plenty of whales.  I could be wrong, but Chinese top the list, followed closely by the Russians (I wouldn't be surprised if the Russian Mafia is well represented!)  Chillingo attempts global tank battles over mobile networks.  Lag is atrocious most times, and there are no attempts to segregate players by rank/experience.  It's pretty common to go into a game as one of five or six corporals or sergeants, and watch everybody get mowed down by one or two "Generals" driving what would be the equivalent here of M5 tanks.

 

Jared Psigoda does illustrate one cold, hard reality, though:  Our children and grandchildren will probably work for Chinese companies, drive Chinese cars, rent Chinese-owned apartments.  That's not an indictment of anyone, just a look at what the numbers are likely to be like (assuming there are no major wars, natural disasters, etc).

Okay, reposting as the site ate my original.

 

I looked at the Premuim Account material the other night, saw the benefits, the the added items, still on the fence about the paint, but whatever, what matters here in something VERY different.

 

This is the solution all of us non-drugging complainers have been asking for, a way for Tanki to earn some money from regulars that don;t want to spend on drugs.  Now, for  a VERY reasonable rpice, you can play drug free with other players and Tanki developers still put food on the table back home.  Win/win, and like I said, at 10 bucks a months, you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal ANYWHERE. 

 

I generally complain and disdain many decisions made by Tanki towards it's fan base, but in this one instance, in this one thing, they have perfectly matched a need with a solution.  Sure extra crystals and extrra XP, but hey , in the end, those don't make you better, they just get you to ranks where you'll just be killed faster.  Like I said, ZERO complaints this was the right solution.

 

So again, I will likely BUY INTO this Premium Account system and start playing PRO Battles and never look back, I FogOfWar_XXX am saying something GOOD this time about what was done.  IT was done right, the first time.  By the same token, devs, don't go pulling bait and switch and changing the acount properties and what you get, and don't start jacking up the prices to ridiculous levels either.  You are now getting fixed rate income on real purchases, can't beat the with a stick, so don't get greedy, and players, don't get greedy or stupid, and comlpain you want more or different, for once this was done right from the beginning.
