I think the structure of the PA is wrong. You cannot decide about the SMP, and the 50% cry may not be enough to make you buy.

 

I was thinking about what would I pay for, that cannot ruin the gameplay. Something that can be valuable enough for the buyers to buy that, and do not make them overpowered. (Frankly speaking the 15% protection from all is very strong for a low rank player, but almost nothing above Brigadier.)

 

So, here are a few tips:

1. Keep the more crystals given (without SMP of course)
2. Detailed statistics: I know the rating and achievements are coming. I do not know what kind of data will be available, but I am sure that can be much better. Have you ever seen a Starladder battle? The statistics after that were very detailed. I play XP more and more and I would really like to see e.g. my shooting accuracy and other details (last battle and aggregated).
3. Spectator mode to see other's battle
4. Some convenience feature in the garage or on the battle list screen: e.g. 3-4 Favorite button, that would allow to choose a pre-set configuration of hull-turret-paint with just one click without entering the garage and clicking here and there.
5. Special, user made paint without protection, that you can use in format battles. (I would not pay for that, but would definitely use that if available - and who knows how many would like that?)
6. Customizable GUI: on the today user interface I hate the messages in the top center. In some camera mode they cover my target and disturb the aiming. If I could put that somewhere else I would be able to use more camera positions. What is more, in case someone starts using a special setting he would get used to it. So, he would be really motivated to pay for that.
7. Special battle filters.
8. You can add yours...

What is common in the above?

• None of them influence the gameplay.
• Neither of them make players overpowered.
• Lot of convenience for the buyers, but without them non-buyers can live on without issues or being over powered

 

As an aside, I have ALWAYS thought it would be nice to make customized paints of an asthetic nature that would be a GREAT selling point for Tanki.  Provide the specs required, offer a simple tool to allow you to paint for each of the hulls, and ensure that all hulls, M0 through 3 are properly formatted, and then you submit.  It can't have objectionable content, but tasteful pin up girls, the skarks mouth, things like that, classic armor type things, or whatever the heck you wanted.  They'd make a mint.

Just replace the OPed paints they get, and this update wouldn't help ruin battles for everyone else. I couldn't care less if they get a gazillion crystals and exp every battle. Just as long as they don't get a combat advantage it won't make the game less fun for everyone else.

The paint is useless, and you shouldn't care about it, i was vs a viking m3 with premium paint, and i could still destroy him pretty easily

 your sales for premium pass must not have increased  like u hoped ..players are not willing to pay to play games sure there out there in Asia and other places and in time it will be how we are forced to go but we do have the rights to choose our games and as long as u are planning on going this route like i said back in June you will be making a huge mistake ..for now scrape the premium passes and bring back the 100% multiplayer passes those cost players only crystals which they do have..players have no interest in paying for stuff if this is how you run this company well i`m sorry you might think there are others who plan on jumping on board why have they not done so yet why wait if you feels your game is that good or the best in the market well think again ..your sales are dropping ..

 

if your wondering if i used it..yes i have and i found no difference with regular playing and the premium pass..sure you got extra crystals and a pro pass but if you don`t like pro battles and for the little amount of crystals you got its not worth it at all..out of the battles i did do on Halloween most of the time i got less then 100 crystals after regular amounts why due to the crystals have been lowered by u in order to make premium pass look good well there not..any one can tell for the normal battles to pro battles there will  always be  a huge difference in crystals but really how  many player really do battle in pro at lower ranks not many due to most can`t afford to pay for the cards pro and premium.

Being a player who has been in the top 20% of active players for close to 3 years and reading the countless topics over that time for revenue options that don't use underhanded methods to generate revenue such as promoting different hulls and turrets, then once saturated, nerf them, and promote another.

Over the last few years pre-Hammer/Vulcan and Micro upgrades updates, I was happy to spend $20-$30 a month to build the ultimate garage. The nerfing really annoyed me during that period. I got Freeze, then they nerfed it, I got Mammoth, then they nerfed it, Shaft, Smoky etc... it didn't matter much because my goal was to have them all, but with now that they have quadrupled costs and added experience speed ups to boot, the game has turned from a $20-$30 a month investment to an $80-$120 a month investment to acquire an ultimate garage if not more, maybe a few players are willing to shell out that kind of money to play Tanki. The premium account just isn't worth it for $10 a month ,or through a $20-$30 crystal purchase. The Premium Account doesn't even come close to cover costs of acquiring an ultimate garage even with 50% more crystals earned from battles, if I'm going to spend money on a game, I expect that money to cover my costs of all my gameplay, not be hit up for 10 times that amount after the fact. Just look at that "Eternity" paint had one player join a battle with it and after 10 min of getting pwned  he sulked and ran, so its quite useless as is before MUing, , 500k crystals for a 250k paint at best, add 1 million crystals to MU it and you are looking at $200+ cost just to buy a paint reserved to premium users.

Tanki may have a handful of Whales (extreme buyers), but these players alone cannot support a platform in the long run if it is the intention of the platform to have a long run :unsure: , if not, then by all means fill your pockets with money from these last few whales in the game, then leave them with nothing! serves them right.

Mammoth m3 is hard to kill so i wouldn't say thats nerfed, freeze is definitely nerfed, for smoky it depends what map your on but that's nerfed too pretty much, i agree premium accounts are definitely not worth it, free to play games that rapidly increase the price you have to pay for the same or current features, is bad economically, eventually if this expenditure isn't controlled or stopped, you will start to lose lots of customers because it has become too expensive, im hoping this bubble can be reduced as soon as possible, its mathematically inevitable

I am extremely angry about this new update for premium accounts.! Your removing 50% XP passes cause of the premium accounts?? And it is extremely unfair that the premium account users now get 100% more crystals in stead if 50% the premium account paint is unfair enough at low ranks(I've seen this paint at ranks as low as corporal) !u need to remove this update immediately or me (and I have 10 alt accounts and over 2000 close friends on tanki) will leave!

I'll explain you few things. We all know how Tanki always removes the thing that WE love. They call these changes "experiments". But, every experiment is an ACTUAL update. So, there is NO need to hope that it is just an "experiment", and that it will probably be removed. It will NEVER be removed. Listen, this game is ruined since 2013 when they removed Moon Silence and added product kits.

 

Thats it. I'm done with this ruined game.
