This sounds like a very good update. Because for all the bored Generalissimos whp have reached the last rank have more goals in Tanki. It's a good update if you ask me. :)

I understand the concern on privacy matters, but when you join a party and don't want the number of drinks consumed by you be available to others is not really a claim for privacy.

IP, or religion is private info.

D/L ratio or hours spend on a single turret or totally in game is not.

My opinion. Peace.

Notify any new customer that you are planning to keep track of every single thing that they do in the bar, and then make this information public, and the new customer will make a smooth 180 degree turn and head towards the entrance door, expect now not for entering, but for leaving. And this is why no bar actually does it. I think there is a word for this, oh yes, it's called stalking.

Looking at your garage, sounds quite the same as opening your wallet and looking how much money you have inside. Hackers would of course be willing to know if spending that extra hour trying to find your login details is worth it.

I am not against the idea of this update, what I am against is making everything public without the user's consent.

Facebook and every other major social media website has the option of blocking strangers from viewing your profile. Why? Because of privacy concerns.

And apparently tanki online does not care about the privacy or safety of its users, at all.

I can't believe there is a staff member who has 0 common sense. However seeing how the majority of the community consists of under age teens, one should definitely expect the level of response I just received from Reeco9.

read this

to educate yourself.

You must be having trouble understanding me. I'll try to explain in simpler terms.

Firstly, I agree with the right to privacy. However, this 'right' regards personal, sensitive information. This includes your identity, location and family details, as well as your feelings and opinions.

Statistics regarding a video game are not sensitive in any way and I'm therefore struggling to understand your anger at this update. If anything, it makes you look suspicious at the very least.

You are not a terrorist, so why do you care if NSA is spying on you! This is exactly the type of your argument.

How is it not sensitive the information about what you have in your garage? Would the information about what you have in your wallet right now NOT be sensitive to you? Because it is basically exactly the same thing. I have things in my garage, which I bought during my career in this game and I do not want to make them public. Would you like it if your bank decided to make all your purchases public? Of course not. This is exactly what is happening here at the moment.

And I do not care if you have no problem making everything regarding your account public, I do, and I should have the right to be able to HIDE the personal information I consider to be sensitive, for what ever reasons I might have. They are personal, and as a person, I have the right to be as much sensitive as I want about them.

I don't feel happy with this update like most of you guys out there, unless I can turn off my profile to public. Why I have to show/share my own personal profile with my stat with someone ? I think at least you should put a button there so that I can switch it on/off.

It's not the same thing at all. I don't regard the content of my garage in this video game to be sensitive in any way. I mean come on. There's only a limited selection of turrets and hulls available in the garage anyway - and what if I find out (or guess) what they are? Nothing happens. Because this information is not sensitive.

-  Would you like it if your bank decided to make all your purchases public? Of course not. This is exactly what is happening here at the moment.

Getting back to your whole 'bank' analogy - you have a point here, however lets say my bank DOES make all of my purchases public. To be honest, it's irrelevant because while people know that some username has bought some stuff, the people don't know the information which is ACTUALLY sensitive, such as identity or location - this is the information which matters.

-  I should have the right to be able to HIDE the personal information I consider to be sensitive, for what ever reasons I might have.

At the end of the day, you're entitled to your opinion. It seems that we have different definitions of what data is sensitive/personal and what isn't. I'd like to question why you're so desperate for this privacy, as it only makes others more curious as to what your 'career' has to show in your garage. But whatever, you're entitled to your opinion as I have said.

Will there be a way to turn them off so others can't see? I don't want ppl to know how much golds I've taken

Nobody will see it anyway, simply because it won't be in stats even it was promised.

The amount of crystals earned along with garage information puts people at risk for hackers. These things have nothing to do with statistics that could be made public without any fears.

Kills, hours played, favorite turret, favorite map - fine.

But anything that could give a hacker some reason to spend more time hacking your account should not be made public by default.

So if you get an award you should get crystals, this would be a very cool and unique idea for tanki to consider. let me know what yall think on that :)

Honestly, I can see where this is going, and it might make one look to playing more, or buying? Besides, you could make harder ones worth more, so that it is still evenly balanced

When you go shopping in a mall. Do you hide yourself from everyone the money you spend? Get real dude. All games have stats and everything. In Unity there will be more stats.

If I go to the mall nobody knows how much money I have earned in my lifetime.

naw there are some problems that will associate with this update.. even though it is a good one

1 allowing others to see your record could possibly create a malicious environment in game or on the forum due to other calling you mult or noob or an absolute piece of ....

2. esports has no suprises anymore than since you will know this player has m3 and these paints.. so this is what they will do

3.  the weapons don't represent the true amount of times used in the past as i remember using shaft all the time before and now not so much since i not got it m3 and basically all maps have become railgun friendly -___-

overall good update but still some holes in it which can be fixed
