I would like to congratulate you for this article, but, while you claim you don't really approve supplies kits

 

 

later on you reveal your true attitude

 

 

that is, buy supplies kits or just buy supplies.

 

I find the two quotes contradictory, if not hypocritical.

 

In regard to Smart Cool Down, despite your comprehensive investigation, you failed to notice that this disgusting update made the use of the first supply mandatory (due to cooling effect), influencing all the other players to counter use at least one (or more).

So, no comments on how and why supplies were promoted by the company, but, hey, you did say

 

 

so I can't blame you for that.

But I would like to here from an expert on supplies on the socio-economical correctness of drugging.

What do you think is the right attitude when many players don't have the means (crystal funds) to upgrade their combos and are forced to use supplies - the easy way - instead so that they get e decent fund?

And what does this mean for the others, that don't use constantly supplies? Do they stand a chance or are they just sitting ducks for the former?

Druggers are noobs

Tankers are damaged more by other tankers who sabotage their team (the other team putting players on your team who do not try to help your team win, sometimes as extreme as either pushing/shooting you into the enemy's line of sight and/or giving the other team their flag back and/or simply doing nothing...regardless, all forms of sabotage prevent noncheating tankers from taking those spots on your team) 

and/or

by those cheating tankers hacking your team, whether only you get hacked or more than one on your team gets hacked (by making you artificially lag but they don't, or making you drop their flag when you didn't even lag, or making their tanks flip upright even when their tanks don't shoot nor get shot at to be able to flip back upright, or hyperdriving their tanks, or hyperflying their tanks, or hyperteleporting their tanks, etc).

 

- These forms of cheating (which, by the way, have increased since last week's over 3 hours of MU updates) are often used to counter the other team when the team is either losing or is not winning by as large a margin as they want.

- Then when you counter their cheating by you then drugging (or you drugging after they initiate the drugging), they then increase the sabotaging and/or hacking AND also add in constant drugging.

- And when even that fails them against you, they then get you removed from the game so that when you get back in they are kicking your team's arse...

You won't believe this but all of what I wrote last night came true in the only map I played. Video below.

They also use self righting hacks to flip themselves back upright when they know they're going belly-up, very good trick if you can pull it off using a firebird! You really can't win. Cheats are rife and I think I'm able to spot them by now, so if by some reason these guys are not cheating then this game broken as well as unaffordable.

So to recap, not only is it unaffordable to micro upgrade now, there is no guarantee cheats and laggers won't spoil any investments you make in this broken and dying game.

I'm sure pretty much everybody's seen PRO's advice on Firebird, right? Well, to recap if you didn't, the big rule for Firebird was:

 

If opponent is using a health kit, do not engage.

 

My problem is that when I use Firebird, almost EVERYBODY uses health kits to counter me. Why? Why can't they just admit that they weren't watching their butt and got toasted by a skilled ninja? It's not nooby by any means, but it's a cheap way to cheat a death that you obviously deserved.

Oh, you mean your "noob" gun/turret roasted them? :P

By "noob" gun/turret, I am referring to the ones that quickly kill the enemy; the quicker they are to kill then the more "noobish" they are ;)

 

I use quotation marks to represent the fact that the literal meaning of the word (which our article's writer correctly pointed out with a dictionary quote) does not apply but that I instead am using the word in a figurative sense. You're welcome :D

on the subject of druggers are "noobs" i have seen some very skilled players who also use drugs prolifically and its a pain at times and can throw a whole battle off balance.... but then theres that one mammoth thunder on full drugs with a turret that refuses to turn rolling into the enemy base just to be blown to smithereens by a twins and an isida. my advice to you is don't spend your time ranting about how clueless they are and how they are dragging your team down but instead to be greatful that you aren't them. so don't go labeling those that are at least relatively skilled with the aspects of effective supply use but instead avert your attention to that pathetic mammoth who by the way is so kindly clearing all the mines in the enemy's base even though he is unaware of it...

Smart cooldowns did not make supply use mandatory. It is your choice to press 1 2 3 4 or 5.

Save crystals and get that good combo. Play with people of your rank or below, and the 'M' gap generally won't be there. And again - no one is forced to use supplies. That is a choice.

Also, if the druggers are really getting to you, go for that pro pass. I understand that it costs crystals, but if you really, really hate drugs then it will be well worth it.

So...druggers are inexperienced? Nah, I've seen plenty of gissimos who use supplies. Thus, unless you are willing to label every single player who has every used a supply as a newbie, you cannot make the blanket statement that druggers are noobs.

Sorry for my delayed response, I was very busy during the last days.

Well...

Yes they did.

When you can use two or three supplies at the same time you don't have to use them without reason. When you can't use more than one supply at the same time, then you load what you think suits you best, so that 15 seconds later to be in a position to use another one. Plain logic.

But apart from logical, I was there after the SCD, I saw it. People started to use supplies for no reason, just in case... thus druggers where born.

That was a deliberate setting from Tanki itself, and a nasty one.

Besides, devs themselves admitted that they intended to increase the supplies use (supplies are here to stay, they said. That means, it was a deliberate change) and make it a major income source for the company, despite the complains about the imbalance it created.

That's the point, the average player can't save enough crystals to buy a decent combo, and that at least can be proven now, because we can see many "fresh" Gssimos with a very limited garage... So, the easy way out is buy supplies kits instead and nuke everybody else so that he can be top scorer and get increased funds. But, that's bad, because:

Either a few will have "unlimited" supplies and get most of the funds, in which case all the rest players have been beaten and earned next to zero crystals, or all have many supplies in which case everybody gets less, because everybody has payed for his supplies. Pat, as we say in chess.

Only the company is earning from this, and that's exactly what it wants.

Pro pass in my rank is easy to get, but apart from XP/BP battles that I don't really like, and full drugging battles that I don't play, there aren't many battles to play. You know why? Because Tanki keeps the cost of Pro pass high for lower ranks, so that Pro battles - except the ones I mentioned - are not popular. Another deliberate move from Tanki, to push players into buying supplies.

However, druggers could very easily play Pro battles themselves, so that we might enjoy some standard battles. But, no, they don't play Pro battles (full drugging), you know why? Because In them everybody is drugging like them so they are not "special". No, druggers, need the non druggers so that they have weak opponents to beat them up. Plain and true.

I use the word noob because if I use the right words to describe the attitude, I will be banned for ever. Of course there are skilled druggers, as there are noobs ones, as well.

But when I say "Noob druggers", know that I mean a lot of mean words ;) and not the word unskilled.

 

Apart from all these, I would expect that our work with drugging is acknowledged, even if it is kinda contradictory to your work.

I mean, the drugging topic in which we have gathered and analyzed the drugging issue and even proposed possible solutions that the company has rejected without even commenting them. You can find a summary at page 71

I haven`t used my higher level account for awhile. Guess what I noticed? The hacking and sabotaging are even worse and more frequent at the higher levels!!! (against my team and later for my team, players quitting the other team then joining my team, including the mults/saboteurs) ...guess I will not invest any more money into the game with such rampant cheating...

You are wrong, I CAN afford them, BUT:

1. I understand what a rip off they are and I won't accept this because nobody wants to be robbed.

2. Apart from fiscal causes, gameplay gets worse with druggers and game logic as well (because what's the point in a game where the best buyers win no matter what?).

 

Finally, it's not crying what I do. It's complaining, and it's not towards Tanki Administration. I understand they are well aware of all these and consciously exploit juniors while they don't care at all for the free players.

I do all this for half blind players like you, just in case they start to understand where they are and realize how much the company exploits its players.

 

It's not only drugging you know, it's the economy that's wrong. After the latest update they made MUs the next goldmine for them. Pay silly kids hundreds of dollars in order to MU your combos that in a few months will be useless as they won't be able to move to TankiX..... ;)

 

Of course all these are the opposite of what you do. You are a mild drugger (91 supplies / hour), a premium user (that is 100% more crystals) and I bet at least two of your turrets and two of your hulls are fully M4... that is, you are on the "pink" side of playing. But try to walk a bit into a free player's shoes and you 'll see what it looks like on the other side.
