Changes to micro-upgrades

Already you overdo with this update! I understand that you have to pay to play, but freedom disappeared. I do not have to say the dome to be upgraded. Now you undertake and update will update what you do not want. I appeal to the old update. He was honest and trustworthy!

Now most smoky's are fully mued and the impact force on them is massive and with dd

This is worth repeating.

The average tanki player is probably a 9 year old kid who is easily impressed by these alledged 'improvements' in the game because they think they are personally beneffiting. They do not really understand the ramifications.

 

And just when I got the hang of finding the key parameters to upgrade whether it be hull or turret.

I appreciate the the respect that you gave each item in my garage, the new system gave many of my torrents full upgrades, but I hate the micro upgrade change.  I can't really afford 20k to 30K per upgrade, I can afford 3 to 5k and work towards a goal.  plus some upgrades are worthless after a point, while other are worth the extra to keep you competitive.

You can't upgrade individual parameters anymore. When you click on the upgrade button, you upgrade each parameter by 1 step.

Worst update ever. You should have said this earlier, because this way upgrading rails reload, hammers impact force (7 steps) give you an m4. This is the most stupid thing tanki could have done. And why the hell do you want to force me to upgrade stuff I don't even need? It's visible that 3 people are "working" on this tanki and they are drunk too.

Now I have  full Thunder, Hammer m4 and smoki 45 /50 , and most of the other turret is close 40 / 50 except Isida and shaft . But I think that update is not good for players, because now you most have 15 000 - 30 000 crystal for one step, when you get to half MU.

Now after looking a little beter i think    THIS CANT BE WORSE.

This Update is to to BAD I Dont like this, This is very costly and forcibly, We Dont Use Micro Upgrades with my own Choice, This is to bad.

This update really helps players who already have micro upgraded one parameter. But for people who are yet to do this its just not affordable. Like i got a increase of 1.1 in Thunder's damage with one MU costing 4500. Now I get +0.4 for 10000 crystals with some increase in range and impact force which I really don't require.

Before stating this update as a good update, I think players/forumers should look at all the aspects of update.

 

Short term effects: This update is great! As many players have m4's even when they only upgraded 1 parameter (eg: Spending 50,000 crystals to get benefit of ~1,000,000 crystals). Since players are getting advantage, only a handful of them will complain ('Greed factor' at behavioral level).

 

Long term effects: Here comes the twist: earlier with just a few thousands of crystals (eg: 47,411 for m4 impact force of Vulcan), you could have maxed 1 parameter (eg: Impact Force). But now You need more like 1 million crystals (eg: 948,000 in case of Vulcan) for maxing 1 parameter for those who have not even started micro upgrading things (like me). And as the Tanki history says, we all know that these updates rarely get rollback...

 

Summary: It is the behavioral nature of human beings which Tanki has chosen to exploit, greed factor. Having said that, Good Luck on your future micro-upgrades, unless you have everything micro-upgraded to m4 and/or you have 1 billion crystals ofcourse!

 

Trigger the greed factor, make the update successful, #JustTankiThings.

 

Anyways, Feel free to dislike/troll/ban whatever you feel necessary to do with my post, if you are so much obsessed with greed factor.

Bad update, as well as you use micro upgrade the cost is to high.

This update is how things should be.  Tanki has learned the lessons I think needed to make changes and keep people happy.  Sure, they might take a little hit on some players with full MU's, but you know what, WE'RE damn stoked and happy.  I went in, saw my shaft and my hornet and I was like "WHAT?!".  Seriously, this rocks, I got a little something for the troublesi n the changes, squared away, taken care of.  No complaints, no issues, no whining, but simple fair treatment of players who played, purchased, and planned as they should within the paradigms presented.  Those get changed, no worries, they took care of you.

 

If Tanki keeps this up, all the woes of the past will likely be forgotten, this was GRADE A classy treatment of it's members.  Good job staff and devs, and not so much for the technical deployment, you guys generally get it right the first time, it's the soft skills and player impact that is the real win this time.
