Bubbles for all Staff Members

player wanted to ask a moderator about something regarding his job,.... this is why we have pm for it

 

chat moderators...were talking about Forum mods not chat..and even still you can pm anyone of them ..

 

A helper...is anyone who has played this game for a long time ..it`s not just mods or admins..most gizmo or players who have been here for more then two years know`s how to get info ..either Wiki  or tanki on line help desk. also tanki help section and then you have the forum where anyone even mods give advise....there is no need to add more stuff to fill up the system ..its bad enough most players are lagging when we are on line and its not our computers or server connections its tanki...

As I stated, it's for those who can't have access to the forum where you can find most of the help at. Not all generalissimos know about the game, indeed there is a few out there who know a hip about the game. But those few people won't answer to everyone's questions all at once, but when there is a player that wants help from a mod, he would just know that he is a mod by looking at his icon. :)

that is and will be a chat mods job to do ...all players need to do is ask a friend for help if not most just post and other players answer them and im talking about the ones who do know the game...

 

or they wait till to see a mod on line and ask then

The bubbles looks good But the multi funkcion helpers have 3 bubbles ?

e.g: DarkOperative Hi is Forum mod. ,facebook mod. ,esport helper and he will got 3 bubbles (like the boss) :)

Just the one that is most appropriate.

What I was thinking was because Chat Mods have more power in game than Wiki Admins, the chat mod one would appear.

As explained here, icons were introduced with the purpose - so that players can easily recognize and contact mods on the chat in case of need. There is no point of giving icons to every staff member in the game, chat would become confusing and clogged place.

 

I do think that staff members should get an icon or a special badge / colour, but only in their field of work, so players could easily reach out to those that can help them. Right now that is pretty unclear on the forum, so staff members get questions which aren't related to their position.

that is normal in all work fields ..there is nothing different from yours or Yele`s you both are admins and should know the game and if you can`t answer it then pass it off to a person who can answer not leave the conversation with out telling a player who to talk to ..and not send them to a forum posting that wont answer the questions...

 

and i still feel its wrong to get more icons and stuff tanki has way to many problems that need to be fix why spend money and time on nothing ..and mods do have logo`s for there job titles.. we do know who job is whom`s  ...

We are both admins, true, but of completely different profile. And ours is not to answer random questions, that's what wiki pages and Help section of Tanki are for.

Clogging up of chat: I don't believe this will happen, because most of the time, non-chat mods are busy working in their own fields. When they do log in the game, they mostly play. However, if they do answer some questions on chat, the bubbles will add to their credibility. That said, it is still a possibility that servers like RU1 will light up like a Christmas tree.

In any case, I think the devs must have already considered the possibility when they were implementing bubble system for chat mods. If they decided not to give all helpers the bubble, then it must be based on some pretty good reasons.

There are things that can't be done from players side. Like anything account related. Posting topic about that is just waste as you will end up with PMing to moderators anyway. As for Ostrica and yele. They are very busy to run business and help players. You can and should PM them about important things. But most forum related issues are Mods job to solve.

yes i agree but when mods don`t answer your questions then you are forced to seek help else where and when you have searched in the right locations and still can`t find your answer`s then it is there job to get you help on that issue or to help you directly ..i`m i not right on that and i had  last month just  been turned down by a admin and a mod and they refused to help me and i ended up finding someone on my own to solve the issue when they should have been the ones doing the job..and i know customer service i worked it for many of my years serving customers on phone and in person..i`m not a kid ..been in the work force since i was 12

If you have problems with moderation or administration, community managers are ones to handle those.

 

Anything else, post appropriate section on forums and you will get help. Only some really specific questions are left without any response as in the end, this is voluntary thing.

 

What is this issue that both admins and mods declined to do for you? Account ban? I know those are ones that they most likely will refuse to do if you don't have good reason.

How about a slight color change instead. That way it doesn't become a "rainbow" or clog up the chat as some people think but they can still see we are a helper easily. Not anything like the ones in the forum, but like a lighter Red while on the red team and a lighter blue while on the blue team and a White in DM and in the lobby

Yes, something like that with colors is an interesting idea.

 

I do not think it would be as a rainbow at chat (not game chat), because I do not think that so many staff members would be present on a single server at the same time. 

 

What do you think that staff members are having slightly painted nicknames on chat? Something as we see at Forum?

 

That administrators are red, chat moderators light blue, forum moderators light orange, Wiki staff members white, Facebook staff members light purple, etc.

thats fine if they want to remove the icons and but there names in colors that would be way better and it would stand out in the green back ground but after awial all you will see is blue and green it will be hard to read the messages after time...

so after time all you will see is one color on one side or it will be a jumble of colors
