Welcome tankers!

In this interview, we will be meeting with a prolific eSportsman. As you can guess, his name is   He has had a fascinating career- from being a tanki-player since the early days of the game, participating in the  clan Nuclear Destructors , and being an eSport Official, his story will not be dull. Read more to learn all about him!

Hello AngeIs.And.Demons !

To start off, would you mind telling us a little about yourself?

Hello! Sure, my real name is Haider, I'm from Pakistan. I've been playing this game since early November, 2012. I've changed names a couple of times, from haider15905 to I.Epicness, to this. I've sort of lost interest in the game, and am eagerly waiting to Tanki X to come out. I've been a regular poster in the forum as well, and have a lot of love for this community ;)

nice!

I understand that you have been around the game for a while. How did you first come across tanki?

I was told by a friend, FaaiqBilal. At the time, we played together, like always and had loads of fun.

A relatable way to begin playing :P

When did your like in eSports begin? What were your first experiences in this particular facet of Tanki?

Well, I wanted to be in a clan ever since I became of the rank to do so (Warrant Officer 3 at the time) I quickly joined my first team, which was called Nuclear Destructors. You can still find images of the team if you google it :D . I stayed loyal to them for as long as they stayed open. When they closed, I moved on to clans, from teams and as I ranked up, I opened my first clan at Field Marshal, which stayed open for 4 months or so, before I decided I couldn't lead anymore .-. After that, a member of the community, Remaine, held a tournament, the first ever player made one. I was elated at the sight of it, and was one of the first to sign up. I liked this idea so much, that I made my own tournament, along with GoldRock. We were prepared for around 32 participants, but ended up receiving a massive 151! Thankfully, the two of us were able to pull it off, and that, was the start of numerous other tournaments. Soon enough, the tournaments got their own forum section, and then tanki started funding them. I made 6 successful XP Tournaments, and 2 others. After this, I left the game for a few months, when I returned, I saw that tournament making was now being taken very seriously, which was extremely good! I immediately signed up for an eSports Official because I wanted to continue making awesome tournaments for the community, and here I am! :D

Wow, you really have been part of eSports for a long time. What was the game like back in these early days? Did you like the way it was?

I liked the way it was, and still like the way it is, but have sort of lost interest in gameplay now. I prefer working for eSports. Back in the day, before the rebelance, everything was different. There used to be crystal boxes worth one crystal, and gold boxes worth 100, everything used to be cheaper. There were Tier 1 and Tier 2 weapons, that sort of stuff. I was just a Sergeant-Major when the re-balance happened, so not much experience, but it's been quite a ride xD

I miss those old days. Can you explain your involvement with teams and clans during your entire career? Which of the clans/teams that you have joined stand out in your mind?

I've been in a lot of clans and teams and its impossible to remember then all but the ones that I shall never forget are:

- Nuclear Destructors

- The Electrons

- Black Armour

- Awesome Warriors

- All Stars

And there was this one clan with HichigoShiiro that I can't remember the name of...

Nuclear Destructors! I didn't realize you were a member of that clan!

At what point in time did you join the ranks of eSports helpers?

I've been making tournaments since quite some time as I said before, and as soon as the tournament system changed, I jumped at the opportunity of giving the eSports section a fresh start - Duet Masters. Soon after that, I applied for eSports Offical - and got accepted :D

Over the course of the game, which update do you believe has made the biggest impact upon Tanki Online?

Probably the re-balance? It changed the game in pretty much every aspect. In my opinion, it was quite decent.

I made some outright horrific purchasing decisions.

Do you believe that the game is improving? Are you looking forward to the introduction of Tanki X?

Some updates, I like, others, are questionable.

Yes, I am. As I said prior, I don't enjoy playing tanki anymore. I mean, it's fun every now and then, but making Tanki X is definitely a good decision. Better graphics, better gameplay, and generally, better everything. I'm really waiting for this one, let's hope the devs don't disappoint us ;)

That's my opinion as well.

In the future, do you expect to see the eSports aspect of Tanki growing and improving? What is your opinion concerning the end of star ladder?

never really liked starladder myself TBH, and yes, the eSports of tanki will only get better and better from this point. These tournaments are just the start, the tip of the glacier :D

So this is the man who keeps crushing our dreams in the "count before Tanki online staff" game! Do you realize that you break my heart every time you post there?

Ok, jk  :P. I loved the interview, it was very well done.

  Which clan was that?

Remember the one with birth and all .-.

I must be having a case of double vision in the last few days, I keep seeing things I thought were in the newspaper in other places.

But for real, congrats on a great copy + paste job! Must have taken hours and hours of hard work! (An Interview with joostcool)

I honestly had no idea .-.

Please shut up, you guys are making a 'mountain out of a molehill'... Especially you Lhamster, I expected better from you... I see why the reporters under you are doing this as well, who can blame them when their superior (,supervisor, whatever you want to call it) is doing the same.

For what it's worth, prior to the publication of this interview, @The_Best_Tank_9000 informed me that he was creating it. In fact, it was I who made the title picture for this article. I was aware that this interview was being created, and I even had some involvement in its creation, so this topic really isn't true plagiarism (although I didn't know that he was using my exact questions).

The questions may have been recycled from my previous interview, but that doesn't mean that this interview should be unappreciated.

chill ..we as people have every right to say what we feel...and for the way it looks i have seen those questions asked many times before even my interview had similar or same questions...what we want is new exciting questions that some one has not given yet ..let the person who is doing this newspaper post  new and interesting stuff ..

over all the work that he did was good not complaining about that...its not easy to do one i know i have been in a number of interviews lately and giving the answers to what you want there is a lot of cross communications ..also with time zones and busy life's its hard to get one done in time for dead lines...so in all that said its good to give criticism  and its even better to take it and improve on what others say...
