anyway, why do the Chinese tanki guys get to make profile pictures but we dont???

 

At least make it so you are able to have a profile picture after you make around 1000 forum posts or something ok.

and as you can see, the pictures are smaller than the mod avatar sizes, so players can't put a mods avatar in it and pretend to be a mod cause its smaller ok.

 

I believe in Chinese forum you need 50 posts to be able to have a profile picture ok.

The forum doesn't look clean now anyway, a few pictures won't ruin anything. 

Y'all get paid for doing this, whats wrong with it begin a bit harder?

I asked a friend who doesn't play this game for his opinion on the forum and he said that its terrible and has poor management.

How do profile pictures make the forum look messy? Look at facebook- everyone has a profile picture and their name (similar to what we want), and it looks very tidy. I can see giving mods more to look at as being a problem, but how is it much more than they do already? If mods are reading through topics and see an inappropriate picture, they can just ban that person.

The community managers have decided a long time ago that profile pictures will never be customisable to make the forum look cleaner and to avoid giving moderators more info to monitor. Same reason why status updates are disabled for players. The Chinese game has different community managers and they make independent decisions and make their own rules. If they have something we don't, it doesn't mean that we must have it too.

Profile pictures IMO isn't such a great idea it's gonna reduce the readability of the forum also people will start setting inappropriate pictures as the profile picture. We don't want to be to called copy cats. If we have to get a new feature it'd be new indeed and not taken from any of the other communities. ;)
