You folks did not do what I have asked for. All I want to know is if you have a copy of the vinyl "Cole Porter in Paris".

????????

"All you want to know is if we have a copy of the vinyl" and we don't have a copy, so....?

Copy of the vinyl or copy of one song?

I only need a copy of the song "It's De-Lovely" performed by Twiggy which is on the vinyl of "Cole Porter in Paris".

Just to let you know, I am now in the process of collecting all the songs by Twiggy I already have and making a video in a project with Roxio MyDVD. When I have the last song "It's De-Lovely" by Twiggy, I will burn a DVD, just for myself, of the video and finally upload the video on my YouTube channel.

You can watch the videos of Twiggy on my YouTube channel here on the following link:

Cesare Vesdani - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcp_XutZAcfJ2tzuNbN3EHw

Please reply back to me. Good luck with the song search.

Thanks for reading and watching.

I have good news for you folks. Today on Tuesday 15 March 2016 I have sent an email to George Townsend here at http://kokomo.ca/album_16_cp.htm and asked him for the song "It's De-Lovely" by Twiggy from the vinyl "Cole Porter in Paris", recorded in 1973.

Moments later he finally agreed to send me a copy of the song to me by email.

Now I am extremely happy to have the song. I have finished making my video. A few minutes ago, I have uploaded this jazzy song "Twiggy - It's De-Lovely" on to my YouTube channel

over here. If you are a fan of Twiggy's music then you shall be very welcome.

Just in case you folks want to know where and who sent the email to me, here is the website link of George Townsend http://kokomo.ca/album_16_cp.htm here.

Thanks for reading folks. :)

That's actually a great find, and now SO MUCH makes sense now, as I think I have found the origins of inspiration for none other than . . .

Oddly enough, this group was a rise to fame in a cold war mind set, international, edgy, but still "de-lovely" and lots of peace and love.  I'm far from that type, but there was an honesty about the music that was real, and I love this group.  Ironically I play Tanki to Dee Lite often, and boom, come to find out, the international appeal of the group was it's downfall, because the lead singer created a false image of being English, while being from Ohio, and the other two band members were in fact Japanese and Russian, DJ Oleg I think (ha, music I play Tanki too, and there was a Russian in the band).  Once her deception was learned of, the "authenticity" of the band fizzled out.  The lead singer also became a little too consumed in her own success, not trying to salvage the relationship she had with the other two when things went south, and as a result there was a huge rift in the band.  They fell apart.

Back to the point though, this song RIDDLER posted seems like exactly the source for this mantra and band ideal.  (If there is another one, I'm too lazy to wiki it, and I think I have have remembered anyways from reading in the past).

And FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, if gems like these are dropped here, MODs, NEVER, EVER, NEVER EVER, close this thread, never.  Good to know there are people with taste, culture, and savvy.  IT doesn't need to appeal as much as it once did to hold deep significance in life, as proven by that song.

Thanks for reading folks. :)

BTW, if you're into that sort of thing, there is a Cole Porter tribute album out there that has a lot of cover artists that is great, if you are interested I'll hunt it down for you.

This spam topic was just for RIDDLER to ask for a song/vinyl/album that no one has .-.

If you want to share music, do it here

Well, to be fair to my posts, they were related, but fine, so be it, Riddler, you have found peace, completion, let this go then.  I'll post Dee Lite elsewhere, but keep the tunes dialog going, I'm definitely someone to talk to, I love all this stuff.

Thank you very much for your kind help, but I am not interested in the Cole Porter tribute. I just only wanted to have the song that Twiggy sang in "Cole Porter in Paris" named "It's De-Lovely".

Anyway you can do the research on the Cole Porter tribute album and I shall peek an eye to see what kind of artists are involved in taking part of Cole Porter's songs.

Thank you.

How do you say De-Lovely, de-licious, de-vine, how do you say DEE-GROOVY, how do you say Dee Lite?  Easy, Twiggy.
