Declined Partial micro-upgrades give a partial discount on next modification

I have gotten 0 PDs and these discounts mean squat to me.

i had to buy things many times at full price.... i had to buy them to promote my success

And you guys complain about 30-40 percent discounts when there are kits for 60% PDs for high percentages too then you have 0 to complain about.

Not all of us buy and most of us don't get so many discounts anyways.

Guess what? I never had to buy crystals to have enough. The only time I've ever bought was 15$ of crystals during Iron Days, and I used it all on a kit. All of my personal discounts were after that.

Yea, PD's are useful. IF YOU BUY CRYS. Since not everyone wastes money in this game, it makes it useless, and every single PD I ever received has been when I can't afford something, so that I buy, but no, I won't waste money here. In the amount of money (20 USD) I can buy 30 k crys which is nothing, but on my favorite game called contract wars, with that kind of money, I can buy a total 10,000 GP, which is more than enough to get 10 guns, or weapons, but in 30k I can barely afford a paint in Tanki. I spend way more on contract wars because its more fun, you get discounts everyday and it is challenging, unlike Tanki, the developers rarely do anything stupid. Things in CW are much cheaper

 

You guys think Tanki has generous sales (or had) in Contract wars, many times there will be random sales up to 99% off, like just last month there was a sale on Noveske Diplomat (tier 6 GP weapon) which costed 500, a whole 52.48% less. Bee fore that an 80% sale on a Sniper Rifle worth 1200 GP.

 

My point is why should I have to waste money in Tanki when there are better games to spend money in? Sure I want to play, but that doesn't mean I want to waste money here.

I love how you keep assuming stuff about me. No, I don't play Tanki for hours and hours each day. I used to be able to spend maybe an hour per day if I was lucky, sometimes an hour and a half, but since I started my clan I rarely spend more then half an hour in-game per day.

So? Just because its easy fro you to earn crystals easily, I think you get good missions, tell if I'm wrong, not everyone else can at higher ranks especially, because at higher ranks battles flip really fast because of drugger noobs

Good missions? Some weeks yes, some weeks no. It's all random.

Going back on topic, I dont see how the newer MU system made anything better other than getting next modification free(not really free cause it costs almost double)? Can anyone tell me? Didn't make it cheaper or less time, only made it hard to upgrade the part of the item that you really want (damage or armor for me), and it took away the discounts for parameters. In my opinion, MUs were better before

I calculate, I still have the same amount of crystals. What we are saying is, we want to MU enough to not be under-powered while we wait to unlock next modification. With a discount after a certain amount of MUs, this would still be more expensive than just saving for M3, but it would be worth it, and  a lot cheaper than fully MUing.

 

P.S.

You say this system is easier to calculate and yet it still takes you hours? How long did it take before, days? In the wikithey have a whole list ofMU pricing, so it is actually really easy to calculate with a calculator. Should only take a few mins

So I had an idea, when  you micro upgraded a turret, earlier there used to be the discount thing like more attributes you upgrade, the higher discount, so maybe, I think devs should make a system for the current one

 

So maybe it should b e like how many ever steps you have done is =% discount, so if I had 6 steps done, I get a discount of total 6%, but if I have 25 steps done, I get 25% discount. See what I mean? and if you fully upgrade your item, you get it for free but if you do 49 steps, you get 49%, so 49% is the max possible.

 

Please don't say that no need cause of Personal Discount because Personal Discounts don't actually happen, I believe they were implemented last year? and I personally, from logging on almost everyday to say "hi" I noticed that I have only recieved a total 3 Personal Discounts, which is not actually making life easier, and as goes for whole sale value discounts, well, what if I'm not into collecting a bunch of stuff to just keep? That makes very little sense. I hope that people don't dumbly argue about Personal Discount and Whole sale discounts, cause they do nothing.

 

Its basically how the system used to be before the update that ruined Mu's. Hope this gets implemented.

I suggested an idea almost exactly like this but every microupgrade you buy gets you a 2% discount on the modification for that item since there are 50 upgrades of each modification for each item. It would help free players get that item sooner.

Maybe we need a combo of both daily gifts and daily missions, the daily gifts will only give you supplies and the daily missions should just give you crystals upon completion, this would help a bit.

I saw a screenshot somewhere on RU forum and also my friend got 100% for Dictator. Don't have any other proof.

 

The fact that you don't have crystals is your own fault. Since the introduction of PDs it became pretty obvious that always having at least 100k crystals is a good idea, so that in case you get a personal discount for an item you want, you'll be able to buy it right away.

Sales are MUCH BETTER than PDs, PDs are meant to be "sales that happen only for you" but are very inconvenient. I save crystals for sales and blow them all in them. And I do purchase good stuff..

 

Even if PDs were a good system, this doesn't undermine the validity of this suggestion.

Another thing is PD's for me have been for things I don't want so they have been really useless. They dont help most players at all
