So why on Earth do I get a Senegal Flag paint from a container?????    Flag paints are the most useless awards from containers. One should

at least be able to select the country for the flag ... but no.

They are just paints representing different countries and you will recieve them randomly from containers regardless of whether you belong to that specific country or not. Additionally, please avoid creating multiple topics regarding the same discussion.

I have a new paint in my mind its called Luminescent or Night Light. Its basically neon green shades that shift like spectrum but 2x speed. Its going to be 3 shades of Neon green

Yeah. After protections were removed from Paints, they're purely for decoration now. Protection modules can be used with any paint, so people just use whatever paint they think looks nice as opposed to the paint that will provide the best advantage in battles.

Containers and challenges are ruining paints!

Before containers were introduced, paints were a very special and unique part of your tank.
everyone only had a small selection of paints, and if someone had an expensive paint, it really was something to be proud of.

Nowadays players from the lowest ranks can have the best and most expensive paints, and higher ranks have like 300 paints, they cant even choose which one to wear. 

Paints used to be special, and i think they should become more special again. 

This could probably be done by not putting existing paints in the shop and challenges.

 

instead make paints that are easily distinguishable as container/challenge paints and make them drop less frequent from containers. this would counter the ongoing reduce in uniqueness from paints

HD Skins (used to) make paint patterns appear smaller, but I recently noticed that Shaft/Shaft XT is the only item that makes paint patterns appear LARGER.

Here are some examples. I found out about this when I equipped Phantom, but you can see it with other paints with small patterns too:

I think that might happen because Shaft is the only (not-HD) turret with a 512x512 texture map

All of the other (not-HD) turrets have a 256x256 texture map

(all of the not-HD hulls have 512x512)

Why does Godmode_ON has The Demon paint ? Why not us? It protects him from 99% of damage from every turret except Freeze and Firebird which give no damage to him.

Godmode isn't just any other player. He is a special person which is why he has a special paint.

For me, it's Traceur (or tracer...dunno how to spell it) as well as clan paints from several years ago. Also, master of parkour paints are pretty prestigious imo. But this is a great question. I'm curious too.

It depends alot, if you mean all of paints even the inaccessible and for all time, it would be in example Christmas holiday paint of 2009.  But in real ratings started after 2015 which does mean all of old considerations have changed.  So if you mean only the accessible paints (Garage and UCs) from 2015+ . There is no official source for it. And it is hard to do analysis by yourself from battles because paints are hard to determine. And if there was, basically everyone will start using the least used paint, till it go up and some paint will take its place and the circle contiues.

Not bad at all =O ! One of my most wanted paints. Probably my best blackbox so far on this account, along with Hopper Stun Immunity. Earned 100k on an alt once, but I don't think I've ever seen a Legendary from a dropped container. I'll take it :)

Also, the remastered Sandbox map seems to be a lot better optimised now, even on my weak laptop FPS/loading time seems fine.

Thanks :P Yes indeed, it will surely be my default paint for a while now lol :) I like the way the animation is quite minimal, kinda like half way between an animated and a static paint, but with a cool colour scheme.

Was also one of my desired paints, nice way to get it

Are new paints being added continuously?

I've been wondering about this as I often receive  paints in containers that I have never even seen before. Or is it just that I didn't notice them in the garage showcase? I don't know.
