Twice I've seen a very vivid purple paint with, what seems to be, sparkles. I've looked at the wiki and don't see one exactly like that one. The only purple paint I can find is for Helpers, and that doesn't seem bright enough.

No. I saw it up close and personal on a Mammoth and then again on a Hornet (I think). There was no deviation in color Solid purple, very bright. I tried on that paint, but it's not the same. Sorry, I thought you were showing me Confetti. I just went into the garage and tried on all the purple paint. What paint is that you are showing?

Yesterday I have uninstalled Adobe Flash from my computre. And Tanki is working even better now. How can It be ? How do tanki work  !?

It says here that the name "America" is already used.

 

 

Yet, when I try to send a friend request to "America", it shows that the user "America" does not exist.

 

 

There are many more nicknames that we can't register with, for example "CTF", "TDM", "NCS" etc.

And we can't have a nickname which has the word "hacker" in it.

 

Why is this?

Chrome has an inbuilt Flash extension so even if you uninstall it from your computer, Tanki will still work on Chrome. Same can be said for any other browser you're using.

As for the second part of the question, it's obvious that some keywords have either been reserved or are in 'Black list'. This will also include profane and offensive words. I'm not sure, but I think for some reason, 'America' is a reserved word too.

It's not related to the actual word "america", but instead to the account itself. It's likely that the glitch was caused by factors such as when the account was created, when it was active and what changes were made to the account.

It's not a glitch - it's just that the the system would check the nickname availability from the INT and Chinese servers(I think BR servers too but not too sure on that). The system will search for the nickname you attempt to register with from these servers and if there is a match found, you wont be able to use the nickname. :excl: Bear in mind that I'm referring to the registration panel as the "system".

 

Since other servers haven't introduced the nickname update yet, they have inactive accounts holding up nicknames pointlessly. The nickname "America" must have been taken in other servers/versions of the game which is why you can't use it in INT servers.

 

I also checked with customer service about it - they said that nickname availability must be checked through the registration panel instead of friends list

If a name isn't accepted, it just means you have to be more creative, think outside the box. I tried to make up an account, but the name had already been in use. So, I went to the English-Latin online translator and got the Latin translation of the name. It was accepted.

 

Actually, "America" isn't really very creative. But if you must have the name, try spelling it sdrawkcab. ^_^ or put a hyphen in it some place. Like "Ame-rica"

Any music or art is copyrighted to the individual or organization that created it upon its creation automatically. The only way to reverse this is for the creator or rights holder to commit it to the public domain, or wait 100 years past the date of the authors death.  So in short, Tankis music is most definitely copyrighted.

 

Non-profit use does not nullify copyright law, the redistribution of copyrighted material carries the same legal penalty, whether you charge for the redistribution or not.
