Given Hornet overdrive ignores double armor and moduels, does it also ignore bonus from active drone?

I think it only ignores double armour and module protections. At least that's what the wiki says...

I think it only ignores double armour and module protections. At least that's what the wiki says. I highly doubt it interferes with drones.

Yes, it also ignores Drones' innate protection, as well as Defender's armour boost.

Why do you think I asked? Can you please confirm with programmers who know whether the Hornet overdrive ignores all protection or just the two listed?

Things that Hornet's Overdrive ignores (from testing and experience in MM battles):

 

  • Enemy Double Armour
  • Enemy Protection Modules
  • Enemy Drones' innate protection 
  • Defender Drone's armour boost
  • Titan's Dome
  • Mammoth's Overdrive as well as the double armour it may have equipped

It is strictly against the rules to share/sell accounts.

Oh! So in theory any giveaways (such as containers, deals etc.) are against the rules too because you can't share in-game items? Doesn't that mean that literally every major youtuber should be banned?

No, you can do giveaways of certain in game items but not of your actual account itself.

Seems almost ridiculous. I guess this also means that friends in real life cannot give their accounts to each other if one stops playing?

I wonder why that is...

I don't see how that (^) excludes giveaways. For instance, offering to buy people any game items should be not allowed right? And is it just an unwritten rule that promocodes can be given to other people?

I suspect C-Spider is correct, and I trust he wouldn't claim to have checked without checking thoroughly, but I was hoping for an official statement and perhaps an update in the Wiki.

 

Anyway, since I'm unworthy of that clarification, perhaps someone could state officially if it is reasonable for Tanki to show a player's full stats in the Profile. Can the Profile show average wins? Average ranking on winning teams? Average ranking on losing teams? Average ranking in all team matches? Average ranking in DM? Averages associated with specific turrets and (separately) specific hulls? Format averages to go along with the format hours-played? Average match completion percentage? Average DNF? Average intentional/confirmed battle abandonment percentage? Average play against other ranks and higher-modification tanks? Any of that? Efficiency is a nice indicator, but it is so rank dependent. 51000 for a 2LT is only a usful indicator compared to other 2LTs. All Generals have higher than 51000 efficiency. There is no comparison. And efficiency is such a complex computation that it isn't much more meaningful than gear score. K/D is a good indicator, but there is no nuance. A determined sniper can keep a high K/D while often letting down the overall team. K/D with completion percentage and team-win percentage would be much more quantitative and informative.

Your previous post was more of a suggestion rather than a question, in which case as @Ninja said, you should post in Ideas and Suggestions. If your question is "whether it is reasonable for Tanki to show a player's stats in their profile" you will find out the answer when your suggestion is either Accepted/Valid/Under Review/Declined by a section moderator. Further to this, may I just remind you that stats are a useful thing to have on your profile, but it does not mean if someone has better stats that they are a better player. As an eSports player, I can tell you that a lot more goes into being a good player than just good stats. But please let's refrain from discussion.

With regard to your final question, "Are old players respected, or is this just a forum for new and young players" -Every player should be respected equally. The forum is for anyone that needs help with questions or in game guidance. New/old player it doesn't matter.

Sometimes when a MM battle finishes, my whole team seems to get 0 crystals, even if we won. Does anybody know if this is some kind of glitch?

Yes it is a known visual glitch. Everybody do get their well deserved crystals.

Are you planning to implement Gauss Alterations anytime soon?

As Gauss is a fairly new turret, there aren't any alterations yet but I'm sure the developers will add something sooner or later. As of yet however, there has been no news about Gauss alterations.

Wait what?! :blink:  So this means that the passive 10% of damage reduction from Brutus will be ignored?

I was curious...what is going to happen in January 2020 when chrome removes flash? And every other browser is going to remove flash soon as well. Is Tanki going to go strictly mobile or will it run off a different flash-like extention like unity or webGL? I love this game and it worries me what will be its future after it is no longer able to run off flash.
