You are guessing?  or know this for a fact?

And it is annoying for... whom?

I have done it myself when I used to be isida... so I know this as a FACT.

Its annoying for me as a teammate to see the ONLY isida we have always healing only one player who barely makes any kills... I mean cmon ik that if vulcan locks it's aim on someone then vulcan is deadly.. but most people are smart enough to just avoid the vulcan which makes it totally useless.

How long ago "were you Isida"?  My post is asking about recent changes because I, and others have seen a difference in scoring during battle.

Well if you are on a team with an Isida that heals only one specific player - it's not the system.  It's the person using the Isida that is the issue.

Well, it doesn't seem like that to me. If I were to get EXP for that, then I would have gotten more than twice the amount of score I got in this battle:

 3-Sensei.jpg

I stayed at the base and healed INTELLIGENT_SERVICES (and defended the flag) all game because:

  • He was an Incendiary Band Vulcan.
  • There were 4 Magnums in the enemy team and my Hornet, even with Magnum protection, would die too quickly if I tried to help the attackers.
  • There were two other Isidas on the team and they had Vikings meaning they were better suited for helping with and orchestrating the attack.

I would only get score whenever he was damaged by the enemy Magnums trying furiously to kill him. Other than that, I would get no score for healing him when he was overheating. And the sucky thing is that I only get EXP for healing the damage caused by the Magnums.

For clarity, let me explain: If the Vulcan is overheating and the magnum deals 400 damage to the Vulcan and I heal him, I would only get EXP for the 400 damage I healed. After the 400 damage is healed, I no longer get EXP until he is damaged again.

This also happens in MM battles. I would get no score for healing an overheating Vulcan unless the Vulcan sustains damage and the situation is just like the one above. I sacrifice getting a good score for the victory of my team. I sometimes have to abandon the Vulcan to earn the minimum requirement for stars (90 score) because I don't get EXP for healing their burns.

The same thing goes for BFG Twins users, Thunders who accidentally shoot the wall in front of them, Magnums and Strikers who sustain damage from their own shot, It's all the same. I want to hear it from an official whether they changed it or not.

Isida heal teammates by providing HP back, lost by enemy damage or self harming (over heating and splash damage).

So when you heal a team mate you get XP (and score).

Score and XP values are different depending on MM or pro-battle.

A mod later told me that the XP received while healing an over-heating vulcan was reduced.

Yes, but what you're saying doesn't imply that you get EXP for self-harming.

If you self-harm yourself you get nothing.

Check the wiki about XP a d score for each battle action here https://en.tankiwiki.com/Matchmaking_System

What the wiki do not specify is that you need to completely heal the tank to get the maximum value.

Reduced? You get absolutely nothing!

If you self-harm yourself you get nothing.

That wording is a bit hard to understand. Please be a bit more clear.

I do that as well but like I said in the long post earlier, I only get EXP (and score because EXP is tied to score) for healing the damage caused by enemies. I don't get EXP for healing the self-damage.

So nothing concrete yet on Isida scores for healing....

Mods please inquire fro DEVS if Isida receives same scoring for healing an over-heating Vulcan as it does for healing a team-mate damaged by enemy.

Exp and score are not directly linked to each other, they are given by action you do on the battlefield, when you cap a flag, kill, ...

What is little know is an hidden mechanics that buffer some xp, if you cap too fast or too many time the xp given is diminished.

Healing self damage was never rewarded, while healing HP loss is. Now, is there a special mechanics that buffer xp gain from isida to gain HP loss from sel damage? We do not know as such details was not communicated, so you will have to ask the question directly go the developer or report if as a bug.

Hey,

This seems to be a common error players (who use the TO Client) face. Please follow the steps listed below to resolve the issue, do let me know if it is solved.

(1): Uninstall the Tanki Online Client;

(2): Press Windows Key + R;

(3): Type %APPDATA%/../Roaming/TankiOnline;

(4): Delete the "Local Store" folder;

(5): Re-install the Tanki Online Client.

I've loaded the game thrice after trying this. It came on the first attempt each time! Thanks!

It happened again.

The problem is, when I open the TO Client, it says that it's unable to connect to the host and asks me to retry. Last time it happened, I got in after my 3rd retry. Anyone please help!

It's happening again, this time while entering battles. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it twice.

Hey Astute,

Would you please be able to do a speed test, by following the attached link below, and share your results via screenshot? That can help me further understand the issue here and be able to assist you with your problem.

I asked this in post 6121 above.

How do we ask Devs directly?

It is a figure of speech. From your side, you post in the complaints book or bug and glitch topic and the Devs reads it and answer (or not) via the V-log. On our side we incorporate the concern/glitch in the weekly report.

Many questions and concerns posted on the forum are answered via the v-log, sometime they are answered by the CM via the Forum.

It's not a complaint and no idea if it's a bug or glitch.

It's a question so... maybe the Questions & Answers forum is appropriate?

Thank you.
