When I first played the game, there ability to chat with team mates and taunt enemies made the game fun factor =10.

 

after server mergers and no chat, fun factor = 7

 

After start of crazy drug infused orgies = 3.

 

So actually if a good chat is present, it really increase fun factor

My idea is very simple. This only applies in battles, since most of the players are Russians, so there should be "translate" option when you click on someone's message in battle. What do you think?

Sounds simple, but in reality this would require more effort than anything developers have ever done before. Implementing it probably wouldn't be difficult, but getting the data and algorithms required to accurately auto-translate text requires insane amounts of funding. Absolutely not worth it.

Idea for the IN GAME TRANSLATOR during the battle !

 

There should be a way to see or to know what other players are talking about. Sometimes there are a lot of Russians in the battle and we cant understand their language. There should be a in game translator that would be activated by just clicking on it and when ever someone says anything it would be translate to our language that we have set it to.
It will be a lot easier to play with anyone in the world, plus we would be able to interact with everyone person no matter what kind of language they speak. !!!

I am writing to suggest an update for the chat in battles. My suggestion is to translate people's comments that are made in the chat to a language that each person can understand. For example: If I only speak Russian and my teammates or opposing team are speaking in English, it is very hard to understand. If there is an option to translate the English into Russian so that I can understand, it can be beneficial especially when teams are planning and overall better communication game tactics.

It's too complicated and not very necessary to implement a whole translation system for battle chats. Although it's likely that eventually we will get a quick communications feature that allows you to send a preset message using a key combo and everyone will hear it in whatever language their interface is set to.

So I'm sure we've all been there. We join a game, and we have teammates or opposing players from other countries who start typing in different languages and we get frustrated because we have no idea what they're saying. I think it's time Tanki invents some kind of in game chat, where let's say my main language is English, which it is, any other player that writes in another language, the translator would automatically do it's best to translate it into English. And vice versa, if i wrote something in English, someone in Russia or any other country could have their setting set to translate everything that isn't their language into their actual language so they can understand. So what do you guys think of something like this?

There should be a auto translation In battle and in lobby chat. (Im only saying this because i want to understand what ru players are talking about) And hey people might benefit from this auto translation.

I wonder why this character doesn't exist, I think it's important thing as the Russian community is the most of Tanki players. I usually from my starts I see Russians mentioning my name with a long sentences, I have a curious what they want to say but I neither could translate it nor can write it in Google translate (except with complicated ways).

I usually say to them English, but they continue talking with me more with Russian. I don't think it's hard for Tanki to add the Google-translate in their game, except if Google will kick them cause the spam of thousands translates

I think this is what motivate more players to leave the game or insult it as a pure Russian game, as the Chat is filled with Russian. I think it's the only state of a game in the world to have a need of a translate, as the game is a fullfed with Russian. While the other games have a players from a variety of communities and countries so every player know that they couldn't talk except if he talk in English. But in tanki Nooo Russians feel their rest of talking Russian all the time as most of the players are Russian, but if they played another game they will realize that no one will understand them while they randomly talking Russian. Btw, I usually when I see someone consist to talk Russian without any word of English (like "I don't know English") I convert to talk with him in Arabic. As someone say to me learn Russian I answered him Ok learn Arabic, we couldn't deny the fact that English is the only language in the world, and if he want me to learn Russian he should also learn Arabic common sense.

Sometime we found some Russians talking something about us but we don't know what they are saying. And sometime Russian don't know what we are saying so there's must be a translator so we can translate Russian and see what they're saying about us

1. This will  much help in team battle

2. We can report player who are abusing us in other languages

I'm very sure Hazeral was developing a translator tool or something close to it (he post it on a video). But indeed, its quite sad there isn't any translator tool for now
