Valid Buying items for other players as gifts (for money only)

I believe I posted this idea before the ability to buy kits in the shop was implemented. This idea should only be used to buy Gold Supplies and Crystals for another player and possibly (as Dage suggested) paints (the paints available to buy in-shop like Neuron, Domino etc).

Wasn't a similar idea rejected/declined earlier just because it may start a chat avalanche of "buy for me plz" ?

Legitimately what just happened to Golds. 

 

 

Objection: Can't you already do this with Gold Boxes? Just buy around 200 and drop them all in a Duel DM with no smart supplies...

Hmm. this is way to get m2 gear in hight ranks! If i dont have something m0, i can create new acc and buy this kit for myself so i can get this low modification gear.

 

Btw what hapens with m2/m3 kits to lowrankers? Lets say m3 guy sends m3 kit to recruit? Does it stays unaviable until he reaches requiered rank?

 

If i want to buy a paint wich may become unaviable soon but my friend doesnt have requiered rank? Might i be able to purchase standart paints and then sent them to him and he has to wait for rankup?

Claim Reward button should turn gray instead of green if reward is not aviable for tanker.

Weren't we sending Crystals, not kits? Additionally, if you really ran into this problem, you could just show what's available for the tanker, similarly to what's happening in the kit section of the garage; you can only buy your rank...

Well about special paints its different. Those paints you need to get when its aviable but if the rank is this issue then so if he has friends he can ask someone to buy it for him.

Only Crystals,Prem,GB,kits and Paints Bought in the Shop, there shud be an option to transfer because, it will be the same for Tanki whether X buys it and give it to Z or Z Buys it direct, Tanki will earn the same money, so +1

Yeah but that can't be any worse, than the "someone drop gold!, whose got gold, I won't come to battle unless theres gold", and after a while, these have dropped off.

Why? Buying anything for someone else with money is the same as the person buying that thing with their own money. The players don't get any more items than they would if buying it normally and developers get the same revenue.

Actually, that will be the same as crystal transfer about which you yourself have placed a "declined" tag several times.

No, crystal transfer is the movement of crystals from one Tanki Online account to another. This is just crystal purchase. Giving someone an in-game present using your real money is the same as giving them money IRL so that they can spend it on Tanki themselves. It's no different from normal crystal purchase for your own account and it can't be abused in any way.

I report best ideas of the week in a weekly report which goes to DS, then Cedric, then the developers. What they do with the information after that is unknown.
