What were the criteria when you created such a list? I assume you don't recommend alterations that are too "situational" because some of those that are the bottom of your list are actually quite good if used properly.

Ok, yeah, they may be good, but I based that list off of the statistics, the functions, and the prices.

Don't get me wrong, I think some of them are good, but I base them mainly on the price. Let's take the corrosive mix alt for example, is the 100k worth it for removed freezing effect and 10% extra damage before the other alts?

Uhhhhhhh

I just looked at the stat bonuses from the "Shell Stabilization" alt for Rail... Then I did some math and found something sorta scary. On an M4 Railgun, shell stabilization makes the damage a consistent 1,200 every shot... That's scary because with DD that means Mammoth and Titan are a certain 3 shot even with protections...

Imagine if we could put High Caliber Ammo and Shell Stabilization on at thte same time...

Consistent 2,000 damage rolls every shot. OP confirmed.

It depends a lot on what my garage is built for and what kind of battles I play regularly...For me buying corosive mix is more important than at least half of the existing alterations. For others it may be the exact opposite.

I already know that an m4 can deal 1200 per shot. But I would agree with you that if it paired with HCA, it could one shot just about anything that doesn't have rail module, on DD.

So in order, from top (being the best) to bottom (being the worst), this is the alts I would recommend:

1. Stable Plasma alt (twins).

2. High Caliber Ammo alt (railgun).

3.

4. High Capacity Drum alt (hammer).

5. Precision Targetting System (smoky).

6. Assault Ammunition alt (smoky).

7. Compact Tanks alt (firebird).

8. High Pressure Pump alt (firebird & freeze).

9.

10. Unstable Plasma alt (ricochet).

11. Minus Field Stabilization alt (ricochet).

12.

13.

14.

15.

16.

17. Slugger alt (hammer).

18. Plasma Core Accelerators alt (twins).

19.

20

21. Corrosive Mix alt (freeze).

I have all these alt.

Smoky's Assault Ammunition alt useless, It should be last.

Freeze and firebird's High pressure pump is also not that good.

Rico's Unstable Plasma alt is good in some maps like poly CP to camp and kill using splash damage but the radius of Splash is so less that it is not good in most other maps.

Hammer's Slugger alt is pretty good and it should be in 7. It is must buy alt for all hammer users. Without this alt hammer's damage decrease by almost 50%.

M4 smoky with m1 alt can do a massive impact force of 429, which is like being hit by a hammer or a railgun. And critical hits basically does the same damage as normal hits except at long ranges.

And I would agree with on slugger if it would've increased hammers range. And damage alone doesn't make up for such slow rotation speed and the tight pellets are a disadvantage. So it's basically a waste of 50k crystals for an alt that doesn't give you an advantage.

And I'm telling this to a legend who has plasma core accelerators alt (4th worst alt ever) for his twins, but doesn't have the stable plasma alt which is the best alt ever.

Just wow

First of all who told you I don't have stable plasma?

I have stable plasma and I like it.

unknown.png

My Smoky is also almost m4, but I don't like m1 alt. cuz critical damage is more important in mid and long range battles than impact and in small maps I prefer Twins , Rico, Freeze ( and Isida when I will buy it in next sale).

unknown.png

And I play with Titan hammer in big maps and I like Slugger alt,

One last thing, all alts are good, its just which suit your playing style.

So you do have it. Sorry then, because when you quote my post, half of them were missing, so I assumed that you had those. But since you have all 23 alts, you must be getting all kinds of gameplay.

How exactly does the "Support Nanobots" alteration work? It just says 5 seconds extra healing. Does it also have to reload 5 seconds longer? Can you also hit enemies for 2.5 sec longer?

I have never tried it really, but just by looking at the stats, I would say that it would give you 5 more seconds of healing time (not damage) which means you would have 15 seconds of healing time, but you lose half your damage when you attack the enemies.

So I also guess that reloading still takes 10 seconds, the alt is still bad though. Only becomes usefull in a TDM game where you heal some campers and don't have to hit enemies.

Maybe you could try it in polygon Cp, see if you can heal your teammates a bit better.

I didn't buy it, maybe if it was a bit stronger I would have,  I don't think it's worth it. But yeah, sounds decent for polygon cp, but I don't play much on that map.

I don't blame you in thinking that it's not really worth it. It is expensive after all.

Yep the Isida M2 alt. has a healing duration of 15 sec., a damage duration of 5 sec. and a reload duration of 10 sec. Imho the -50% damage cut is too strong to make the alt useful, as the whole damage energy of a full magazine can only kill a light hull.

If you do not flood in the forum then you will not find it expensive. Don't get angry it's ok :)

Instead of buying corrosive just get firebird because firebird has afterburn too while freeze+corrosive is a simple basic dps turret.

Guys I'm planning to buy osaka------and when I do should I get broad emitters alt? Because whenever a enemy is in range it might be almost impossible to miss? What do you high rankers think?

I have used Isida for quite some time and do not feel it would be worth the crystals to buy either of the Alterations.

I think they are two of the weakest alts offered so far.

But isn't broad emitters good because if in range of opponents or teammates you can't miss your beam?

Is railgun's alt. that stabilizes its damage worth it? or should i just stick to the other one -which increases damage at the expense of reload time-?

Also what about Hammer's alternations, are they effective? I didn't get to try them out so im completely clueless.

Considering i have both turrets at M4.

Any thoughts or feedbacks will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't found the need.

Maybe occasionally I have a bit of trouble trying to target a Twins with that constant impact.  But that is not often.

Unless you have a lot of spare crystals I don't think it is worth it.

If you can turn your turret you should be fine without the Alt.
