It saves you the use of a Double damage.

You know that at best it gives a 1,5x dmg right? At that point a single shot from twins is gonna do ya in + you must get it for each turret separately, which makes no sense if all turrets can have it

Sure, not as good as x2, still good without an DD.

You didn't read after the rest did you...

But a wounded Gauss on other side of map (well out of range of your hypothetical twins) can make good use of it though.

Magnum can do same thing from it's base, hidden and safe.

That has been stated before yes, but getting the augment of the specific turret will be lil hard, don't you think? Unless you're a buyer of course, nothing stops you there...

I'm not a buyer.   I'm just stating how a "wounded" player can make this augment very effective.   Why are you personalizing this?

I get involved in a lot of 1 v 1s , circle strafing etc. with Smoky and this augment is going to be so annoying

Got in to a fight with a Hunter / Rail recently and it took several shots from me and a lot of dodging their shots to win

This "that which does not kill us, makes us stronger" augment is going to reduce my chances of winning those encounters

Hello there! May I ask, what are the current best alterations for railgun and twins in team battles?

LCR/Destabilization and scout. depending on your play style. LCR/Destabilization is good for one shots. Scout for sustained firing.

I don't play twins so i can't help you there.

For Railgun: Electromagnetic accelerator "Scout" as well as Round destabilization.

However, I would choose Round Destabilization augment as it is more beneficial for MM if you prefer Peek a boo strategy.

For Twins: Heavy plasmagun as I use this one and I like it.

Shaft is OP and yes augment really does help a lot to improve performance. But, lately I have seen Fire bird really dominate the arena (Especially in medium range maps). The reason why I would suggest Firebird is because you are going to buy its "MK6" variant which is a better choice at higher levels than "MK5".

Depends, if you like to maintain an offensive style with out having to camp, then Light Capacitors. But, if you like it camping style then go for heavy capacitors. Though, I haven't used shaft much so you can consider this bias. I only tries if once and vaguely remember it.

thank u ,i really appreciate your help .haven't used shaft in a while .but i prefer an aggresive playstyle .even if i didn't i'd need  a heavy tank to camp and that's really not my style .moreover battles nowadays are so fast -paced and with everyone using hornets and firebirds i feel like light -capacitors would help a lot for quick sniping .

Thank you! I think I'll go with the "Scout" for railgun.

But for the twins, I've read around people recommending the "Plasma Accelerators." What's the deal with that?

i don't use twins  .but ive tested it on the test servers .u shoot twice as fast and ur range is doubled but reloading is slower .suppose a normal twins shoots 4 balls in 1 second .u can shoot only 2 .

Sup everyone!

I own a Freeze and Ricochet in my garage and I was thinking of getting some alteration for either or both before the -50% sales ended. I use Hornet and Dictator as my hulls, and I mainly play team battles such as CTF and CP. Are there currently any alterations for either turret that are worth noting, and maybe also worth buying?

Thank you all!

for freeze:shock freeze.best defensive alt ever

for rico: either minus field or plasmatorch

overall i think shock freeze is insanely powerful and will be really fun if u are skilled with freeze
