I think the point was to make money really but I take your point.

The worst bit about the heat resistance was that I got the immunity FIRST. Bah.

Well the only players that can do this are Buyers and Legends with a large war-chest.

The nerf time increase when preparing to fire being removed. It has a lot of damage increased and 20% extra reload doesn’t seem to balance it much in battle. It’s especially op with hornet od as well.

It's not 20%, it's 50%. Wiki mixed up the parameters. It has 50% more shot reload. Only the shot delay (which was +20%) was removed. You're saying the Augment still needs nerfing right? 

 

LCR makes Railgun's damage comparable to Gauss and Magnum, its fellow long-range turrets. Should it not be like that?

It didn’t show 50% in the wiki yes. And yes what ur saying feels true. Maybe it doesn’t need a nerf.

Then let’s blame Scout alt. That needs a nerf : D   Rly

You know what makes battles unplayable?   Gauss EMP.   Holy crap does that augment need to go.

A Hunter OD that you can activate every 4 seconds - with unlimited range.   It's as ridiculous as Hornet OD.

Combine the two and that forms the definition of Stupid.

As much as it depresses me to say, never gonna happen. That thing is probably a such a fat cash cow for the devs it will probably never enter the hands of F2P, not as long as it remains unique in the EMP alteration aspect anyway, and what's the track history of features being removed from the game, especially ones that people blew ridiculous amounts of cash buying?

Now that it's in Ultra Containers, if people want it, they can't even buy it upfront, they've gotta blow a boatload of cash on a bunch of RNG that'll probably net you 50% Mines/Speed Boost anyway/. At least that way the devs make their moolah, and only a relatively small proportion of the playerbase has the augment. 

Must be fun being able to singlehandedly ruin EVERY siege game for the opposing team ever, especially when combined with Hornet OD, but let's not go down that path again.

Stock Gauss is ridiculous enough as is. But giving it the option to disable enemy supplies really sets a whole new meaning of broken.

But let's be honest, they're both the cancer of the game.

Has anyone tried viking with heavyweight? I bet it stops being abused by any form of the slightest impact force... It's my biggest gripe with the hull.

I dont't have it, but from my experience playing with Smoky against players using heavyweight+viking, it definitely helps countering high impact force turrets.

Update: it turns Viking into Hunter with a higher top speed basically, the slower acceleration is weird to get used to but impact force is basically negligible from any turret, railgun users with scout would usually ragdoll my tank but with Heavyweight construction impact forces are barely noticeable. 

Not sure whether I'll equip this or Fire Immunity as my default setup, I'm used to playing with a light viking, but I might load into battles with heavyweight, check for any compact fuel tanks/incendiary band/incendiary rounds alterations and then make a switch accordingly. Could be tedious, but probably worth it if I can be bothered.
