we cannot coz both are turret aguments ..only one can be equipped

Okay...thanks. I finally have saved enough for a few items during the sales...don't think I'll get it. It makes sense if you are a gauss fan since there are limited augments for that turret. But most other turrets have really strong augments that would outweigh the extra hit on low health IMO.

What are your thoughts about it?

definitely , i would buy hyperspace rounds ..coz im a fan of it..i would kill jaugarnauts in one shot

So I thought the hyperspace rounds had lower final damage. Is that not true?

That's true. But it has a special property of +100% penetration damage.

What this means is that for every tank your railgun shot penetrates, the damage increases by 100% for the next target. So, equip this augment and try to shoot at two or three tanks with one shot. The first tank will face little damage and may not be destroyed by you, but the following tanks will face a lot more damage and if the last tank is a juggernaut, you can deal extremely high damage to it and kill it.

Between scout and hyperspace which is the better augment? And for the record I am not a huge railgun user, but equip it every now and then for fun. I prefer the LC on the shaft, sledgehammer on thunder, auto canon to annoy the world on smoky, MFS on rico. I already own the LCR on rail, but don't like the slower reload...

For me, scout hands down.

But just do this to decide on hyperspace rounds. Play a battle normally, see how many doubles and triples you get(remember that teammates are also included). That's how many times that alt will help you. On the other hand, scout's advantage is present all the time.

1.8 multiplier of the normal stock railgun's damage, activate a DD and you get 3.6 multiplier of default railgun damage.

Only max damage is -10%. So it will be 1.9 and 3.8 multiplier on avg damage.

The best alt is sledgehammer for thunder

There are better augments than Sledgehammer, in general that is - Sledgehammer is a good augment though

thinking about buying heavy capacitors

What are you wanting to gain from it? Do you have any other shaft augments? What's your favorite game mode?

i prefer subcalber rounds ...for its increased impact force and and firing rate ....but sledge is best to take groups lol

Sledge is a midfielders dream on control points and siege where enemy tanks like to gather:)

I saw that you were using it to take down the Jug! Are you mounting on Hornet with OD kicked in and DD?

Nope .everyones got their own style. Im mounting it on hunter .i just wait for damaged juggers running to safety and KO them

I like the stability of hunter with shaft for sure...It stays on target much easier than on viking or hornet.

Is Rubberized rounds a good augment? I got it from containers and I was wondering should I swap it with Incendiary band. Using heat immunity on the hull btw.

Aww man you're so lucky. I really want Rubberised Rounds. You may not have the best time using it like a Stock Vulcan. You'd want to be able to use the ricocheting feature comfortably throughout the battle.

Your Heat Immunity would mean constant pressure on defending enemies as you don't need to stop firing. You can be damaging them out of your line of sight and thy won't be able to do much. The projectile speed decrease is half that of Incendiary Band so there shouldn't be too much problems with hitting moving enemies.

A list of maps I'd use Rubberised Rounds over Incendiary Band is:

  • Chernobyl
  • Cologne
  • Future
  • Industrial Zone
  • Molotov
  • Silence
  • Solikamsk
  • Tribute
  • Wolfenstein
  • Year 2042
