Ok so I got a question. So let's say that I buy m2 twins but I didn't get m1 version of it. Will I still be able to buy those m1 alterations, or will I need to go look for another turret? :/

Plz answer

You can still buy the M1 alteration. If you dont like the M2 aleration , you can simply buy the M1 or vice versa

Both available Twins alteration are M1 alterations (that doesn't has something to do with the m level of the weapon ofc) and there is no Twins M2 alt. Since both are M1 he has to decide which one he wants to equip, in case he purchases both alts.

Good :) maybe you won't need to ram them. Some will ram you by themselves, because they think you got self-damage  ;)

But there are actually other reasons why I will buy it, so I can at least compete in no supplies battles, and so I can get more variety in parkour format :P

It would be nice if turrets were 50% off at April fools celebrations and alterations were also half off :/

How about a poll about the existence of alterations?

For me there shouldn't be alterations, they make the gameplay unpredictable and make some turrets OP.

Hmmm okay , I will add one now :)

Alterations not recommended to buy:

Slugger- it makes hammer turn too slowly.

Heavy capacitors- power up time and horizontal aiming speed outweighs the extra sniping damage in my opinion.

Nanobots- the 5 extra seconds in healing time is not worth half the damage.

Corrosive mix- it's just not worth the crystals in buying.

Unstable plasma- trust me, it's just better to buy thunder if you want splash damage, and it's much cheaper.

Recommended alterations to buy:

Stable plasma- with twins it's quite pointless to have splash damage.

High capacity drum- gives your hammer 2 extra shots per reload.

Assault ammunition and precision targeting system- no point in having critical hits except at long range, which is why these two alts are recommended.

And the other alterations are ok, if you like different playing styles

I would never recommend Assault ammunition alt. even at short range because at high rank nobody uses wasp or hornet and its impact force is not much effective against medium and heavy hulls.

However, it can still make parkour interesting, can't it?

Plus... Smoky is not a long-range turret.  It's weak damage is a measly 10%. It may "impact" the opponent, but then it's just tickling them as it has no critical.

[REVIEW] Railgun Alteration - High Caliber Ammo

H4xUVgY.png

"At first glance, it looks like the old Railgun. At first try, it feels like the old Railgun. At first flag capture, it is the old Railgun!"

The High-caliber Ammo alteration is the M2 alteration that comes with railgun. It looks exactly like the old version of railgun, which had the ability of one-shot kill, in fact, this alteration is the old version of railgun. I rented this alteration on 25th March, 2017, to achieve the 500+ kills contest. With the help of this alteration, I gained a profit of 4000 crystals, and loads of instant kills with the help of a Double Damage. I have tried this alteration in non pro battle battles. This alteration has its disadvantage of long reload time, advantage of heavy damage, and overall perfection.

Firstly, the main disadvantage of this alteration is its reload time. The reload time becomes 7.25 seconds long for a non micro upgraded M2 railgun. With the additional 1.1s delay, each shot takes 8.35s long, compared to the non alteration mode, which takes 5.85s long to shoot, including the delay. Despite the delay, the overall damage per second remains the same, which is 150.9dps, compared to the non alteration 153.8dps. The 3 point difference in the DPS is not big of a deal, because you get to finish of your enemies very quickly. In a quick kill situation however, this alteration comes in a very big disadvantage. Since your reload time is very slow, you will be unable to save yourself from a close ranged enemy. Furthermore, other railguns will get the opportunity to kill you first, before you can even shoot. Disappointingly, this turret can only one shoot M1 wasps without the double damage. So, if you expect this alteration to be fast paced, think again.

Secondly, the main advantage of this alteration is its high damage. The damage of this turret for a M2 non micro upgraded railgun bumps from 900 to 1260. Unfortunately this buff can not one shoot without double damage. The only opponents I could one shoot someone without double damage, was on a wasp M1, or a tank whose health is already depleted. Luckily, this alteration enables me to do double or even triple kills in death matches. Due to its heavy damage, I could sneak behind two opponents who are already fighting with each other, and shoot to finish them both off, thus easily earning 2 kills. With double damage, this turret feels invincible. I could one shoot all medium hulls that does not have railgun protection. In capturing flags, this is very useful, because you can easily sweep your route and take the flag, since only one or two defenders guard the flag. It is amazing in TDM and CP battles as well because it enables one team to have more kills. I got around 43 kills in a 15 minute massacre battle, knowing how much of a noob I am. This alteration is the perfect add-on for a camper (me). I believe that this alteration should be renamed to 'sweeper' instead, because it can easily finish off opponents.

Lastly, the overall alteration is pretty good. With double damage, it has about 2 520 damage per shot- enough to kill all medium hulls. It is not hard to use at all, but do be aware not to miss your shot, since you will be loosing a lot of damage. In DM battles too, this is pretty good. If you tend to use this alteration in XP/BP, give up your hope, because alterations are disabled in that format. Furthermore, in non drug battles, there is not much disadvantage, since the enemy can not use double armour too.

To conclude, if you are a slow paced tanker, who likes to stalk people and murder them, this alteration is for you. Like team battles? This is for you. Want to sweep the enemy base? This is for you. Want to waste your double damages? This is for you. Simply to put: This alteration is worth it - go buy it (during sales that is).

So I bought the stable plasma alteration for my newly purchased m2 twins, and well, I got a very satisfying outcome, it turns out that twins is meant to attack head on with other short ranged players.

It's only 50k crystals and even less on sales

If you are a twins user, I would recommend buying this alteration

And they (Devs) say they gave Twins Splash damage so it would be a medium range weapon and not a "noob-in-ur-face" short ranger.

50k crystals later it is a "noob-in-ur-face" short-ranger.   Makes sense.

True, but let's be honest, twins perform better without the splash damage.

But you might want to choose one of them since enemy may have protection against one but not the other turret.

Anyways, I don't think any of those 4 alterations are worth it.

I just wanted to see if there was a way to make 2 turrets look like each other.

Assault emitters for shaft is absolutely worth crystals... I am killing in close and mid range now like i have smoky or thunder. With m1, Demage is arround 500-550 in fast shoting. I dont know why everybody disagree with that :D ?
