First off, I don't date "girls" I date women. "Girl" implies immaturity. Besides, I have more respect for the female gender.

I don't care how tall she is.

I don't care how beautiful she is or isn't.

I don't care about hair color, etc, etc.

What I do care about is:

Loyalty,

Trust,

Acceptance of my "baggage" as I'm willing to accept hers

Intellectual, meaning to be able to carry on an intelligent conversation about current events (local and nation wide), cost of living, how the children are to be raised (if there are any, it doesn't matter to me one way or the other). Plus other subjects that can affect our relationship.

Able to think for herself without me having to constantly tell her what to do, what not to do, or how to do it. I understand there are many ways to accomplish something. I don't care, as long as the results are positive.

Independent. I don't need "Mommie" and "Daddy" running our lives. As a further note, if anything happens to me, I want to feel secure in knowing she can take care of herself.

Sense of humor

If she wants to work, that's fine. If not, that's ok, too. However, she has to understand that it is imperative that we live within our means.

A good, loving heart.

And the list goes on.

Beauty is skin deep, it will fade in time. What's important is what's in her head and heart.

Love to laugh, Love to live, Love to love.
